rocking it...

even before death... yes that was what Janis Joplin did. an alcohol drink and a shot of heroin put this lady rocker to her early grave at 27. these two doesn't really mix, like water and oil for alcohol will cause the effect of these prohibited drugs to shoot up to the roof and the result is fatal just what had happened to her. sad, pure talent went to the drain, too early. i came across to one of her music a few weeks ago and posted one of her songs here bec. j.c. and me liked it, while it was being played in the car. this without knowing that she was dead. i did not know the title so i spent time searching it until i finally found it, and i would like to repeat it here on air, in remembrance to this lady singer. here is the tune... "she and her bobby mcgee" aka, jimmy hendrix and her ( janis joplin) ...a love song for the coming month although sad that the girl died here...well, we can't be happy all the time and that's a known fact *}

now it made this song more lovelier to my ears at least. i like it :) now weird for i just noticed that she and my dad's b-date is the same, 1-19...the queen of rock and roll some said, had bid goodbye early. for it was her time to leave even at age 27. death does not discriminate, death don't have favorites, young or old is fair game. we all must remember that. and even then if we forget, we can't escape old age, it will be there before we know it :)

happy b-day to you ms. Joplin as well...wherever you are...

and i was reading some comments about this song and one goes like this... a male singer first recorded this song created or written for his secretary that he's going to bed with. good lord! a dirty song really, but hey, it's the way it is executed. again, for the lyrics or the reason is just secondary, to me at least :)
