80

that's what you are today
just sad, you're gone
and now you're just
but a memory

sixty years
these magic numbers
that measured
your life on earth
too short but packed
with joy and happiness

dad, mom will be 80
this year
healthy happy
and full of hopes
and love for you still...

happy b-day to you dad
where ever you maybe...

a simple stringing of words for your special day...1-19-'08...the first ornamental cabbage flower is mine from my fall garden. the two, a bunch of fall pink-reddish mums and clusters of summer pink & purple begonias? not sure of the exact name, are taken around Shrine. and the final resting place for my dad, the first two pics...

yesterday...

yesterday is now a memory
but glad you came our way
yesterday is but a memory
we'll take it for there's no other way

so kind and so gentle soul you are
so inventive with a big smiling heart
so lovable and so adorable and so bright
to them your friends and to all of us

go so gently with the wind
fly high soar up above that sky
your spirit quietly floating free
your shadow now is just but a memory

dad we missed you a lot
dad you won't know how sad
you won't know how bad
your absence
made our hearts
cry in sadness
sob in silence
for a long time
now

when will this pain drains
when will this suffering ends
pls. tell us dad... when...
