the ARES 1-X rocket launched today...

majestic! successful test flight of the new generation of space craft designed to replace the shuttle. the planned space vehicles that will transport man to the moon and to mars in the future. that will really be awesome. experimentation and innovation, that's what America is all about and you can see that now. i love observing and looking at space launches. there is something to it that captures my mind and my imagination. maybe the frustrated ambition in me of being an space explorer i dunno. the one dream that will only be just a dream now but i don't mind for my main and basic goal in life is reached and I'll gladly settle for that :)

dreams do come true, mine did & so of our prez's :)

as signaled by the singing or by the chirping of the birds for they are definitely celebrating or happy for you :) so smile should be in order...like our president here, Barack Obama...imagine the most prestigious award where people of unparalleled contributions for the betterment of the human race is recognized...some called him undeserving for they cite his not much accomplishment as of yet...but who cares? he can have that noble, Nobel peace prize, i say, but now on second thought, who am i anyway, a nobody, laughs. so me don't count...but really now...he is deserving! and who ever says he is not need to look at themselves in the mirror and ask, are you deserving? to themselves...now let's see if they'll get an affirmative answer not unless they are better off than pres. Obama which i doubt it very much that they are, so...the next best thing is to put a lid on it...on those criticisms, i meant :) or they're just envious, my God...the guy is blessed and really he is just living true to his given name's meaning...his name is a charm, that's it. plus the gift of being able to communicate well helps too :)

"hold on tight"...to your dreams :> sort of like, habang may buhay, may pag-asa :)

our mother of perpetual help...

means endless love, endless cares and endless help...and all we have to do is ask...for it will be given if it is needed to be given and if it is really meant for you :)

treasure the things or people that you have. make them feel that they are important to you for if not you will lose them and you'll regret that you'd let them go without telling them how valuable they are to you, one cause of unhappiness later for you

never use anyone for your own profit or benefit for circumstances is like a road or a door that will open to the truth. it's just a matter of time

act your true you, never impersonates the one that is not you, for you are just lying to yourself in that process in the first place

money is important but it is the root of all evil...be very careful on how you handle it...it can cause you to be less of a person...it works like that power in politics...where corruption is the main star...it will suck you to kill, to steal, and to cheat your fellow men

give so you will receive, respect so you will be respected and love so you will be loved

a person who've seen it all in poverty and in being in the lower part of the totem pole knows first hand how to be poor and how to live street wise and much more humbler than their counterparts or opposites who were born with silver spoons in their mouths...experience is the greatest teacher after all...for you won't know the feeling of how to be poor and a nobody when you are not one of them in the first place

the fish is often caught in its mouth, the words that we let out is the barometer of our humanity

when you think of yourself most of the time it won't be long that you will be blind to the needs of others

tell me how you treat strangers and i'll tell you how you treat nobodies, the lowly and the have- nots like maids and security guards

most of the time our inner being is the copy cat of our outer selves as manifested by our behaviour towards others

kindness is a virtue that won't be forgotten even the owner themselves had already left in your life. it is a mirror of one's inner being seen through their actions towards another person. you're lucky if you've met one of them along the way. i did :)

a smile is free and it's easy to give. practice it everyday and you will be amazed with the results :)

and lastly put God first in all you do and all the rest will be in perfect place for you...

a few pointers in life that we have known all along but most of the time we've conveniently forgotten to live by with or to practice with and to let it reign in our lives. but it is never too late to be on the right loop again. never, as long as we are still breathing and still alive in this world. let's do it :)

ultime amour...

by richard clayderman. we love music, most of us do, so it shall continue :) i thank you all dear artists for your great works of art. they're priceless. Jesus captured in paint with a smile :) but of course it is just one artist's take on how she thought He looked like :> and "peace art" we needed miracle to have that in some parts of our world. it is the one that is really wanted very badly but beyond the grasp of our fellow humans in that other side of the world. the reason? territorial disputes. who owns the land. but really we don't own anything here. we are all just a speck of dust that's being blown away by the wind and it just so happened that we are given temporary or borrowed life to enjoy it for a little while, a short timed existence, that is. and here are some of our co-inhabitants here thinking of owning a land which btw they will use for just a fraction of eternity. so really now, let's be real and open our minds. it's a beautiful world out there and that kind of selfishness kills the fun and enjoyment of living, needless to say. so share instead of saying, it's mine :) God is not happy i guess, so peace is very hard to come by in their part of the world. it is God's land that simple, okidok? not any body's.

smiling is an art...

let's say our thanks to all the people that gave us that by smiling back as well...(^_~)... :> i like your art sir, thanks :)

we drive our own dreams

like a mountain covered green with so many trees that changes with the passing of time. today is light green, then tomorrow it's yellow and then brown. as slowly as the sun goes down to the west the light will depart and the dark will swallow your well laid out plans. it's like an endless freeway with so many kinks and turns, with so many exits. you get confused with the signs in front of your eyes. too glaring, too green and the signal is not enough. you did not understand. and you end up getting lost with the sparrows in your hand, flying out into the desert and your dream gone in a split second as you're being swallowed by the signs and the signals of the road of your own life. the streets where the main target is lost and now you are here trying to figure out how to begin again and be on the road once more...

"The Revisionist's Dream" by Renee Ashley...what a wonderful poem, i love it :)

Old as sea water. And the dream as large as a sea. We dream like that. And longer than that. Wider. And hear the sound of bleak bells like flat stone on flat stone. We stand -- our hands are empty and the floor is steep, the floor is a deep sea with fish like stones who call like bells. Like brittle bells. And the song is running water. And the water is rising.

And the prison we choose is narrow, and we swear we never dreamed those walls. So the way the light breaks out from the night is how we break away, how we carry our lives like a sack or a sadness -- and we are just a river; the water is sweet, is shallow, is slow but the dream is dark and smoky, like a woman's hair let down. It winds like that.

the game never stops

i'm tired
this game is
just taking too
long to stop.

it's taking its time
and it's making me sad.

when will it ever
reach the end of the road
and be buried with all of the toys.

i'm grown and they are of no use...

melodies mark our lives...

music makes us reflect about life...neil diamond's, "play me" yeah, the game continues and i bet it will never stop but i might be wrong too you know :? so the game continues, again!...and "i am i said" are those tunes or music... as if you cared, laughs. for i knew you don't...and so am i :) then comes "Joy" by Giovanni, my most favorite...for i care about happiness, yours, theirs, mine, ours :> the art is done by the greatest american painter, esp. of portraits like 100 years ago...john singer sargent...he truly amazes me, the genius of his time... http://jssgallery.org/index.htm ...hmn, i really would like a blogging break and yes, i will try to get that soon :) but the music will continue...

Sammy Davis Jr., one favorite voice, one old song with a new twist, then..."all the things you are" to all lovey dees out there :> then Johannes Brahms will enchant us with his waltz in A flat major Op. 39/15, lovely! :) ah music, the not so silent language of the inner being within us. fascinating to say the least :> then Suzy Q by Copper Snake, a blast...(^_~)...and who could forget Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Op. 8/3? a must hear, for me at least...then...it's ipod's shuffle time and I'm thinking the world will be bare without music, the world will be sad and flat...welcome to my world by newell oler...hmn, the world of the ehem, old and the ugly and the extra, laughs. yes, i was an extra in a movie a long, long time ago..."ilang-ilang" by vilma santos and edgar mortiz, an aunt related to marriage was a make up artist, she tagged us along then...so yes, an extra, baby...but hey, in real life not make believe or reel ha, no one wants that role...you want to be the queen, or the king, laughs, or else no deal :) i wonder if that movie is rentable still, just curious...part of that movie was filmed in las brisas resort, antipolo...

it's just the thought, illusions are no smiles

those blade of leaves are tearing me apart, it's so sharp and shiny they can cut my heart...can i have a silken pink petal instead of the blues, can i have a running river than a blue and quiet, endless sky above :)

the smile is planned it is of pretense, the smile is sad it is just a bare act...incomplete and undone that no one would like...

how can you be sure that a laugh is at the end of the road when i have you. how can i be sure that a smile is behind when i have you. it's just like you're sold to the idea that the grass is greener at the lawn of your neighbor. it's just like the wine is tastier at that cup at the other side of the table. it's just like the book at that golden shelf behind you is much more enticing to read than what's in your hand. similar to, you want a curly hair when you don't have it. i am guilty and i stand accused of that crime :)...but really how do we know for sure that we are much more happier when we have the things that we don't have? it is just the thought if you ask me. it is only in our minds. after all, our dreams, our desires are just like our wishes that need fulfillment and when you get a hold of it, when you own it, the magic dissipates, the longing is gone. but it is only me. here's another thought...be thankful with what you have for if you lose it, then that will be the time that you'll realize that, that thing is precious to you...it is true. tested and true...like muses that are gone you will know their importance when they threaten to leave you. then and only then that you'll realize their value to you...point taken and proven...(^_~)...you will do everything in your power to reverse that situation, laughs. silent communication that you and your love could only understand and some intelligent minds out there as well, you just don't know :) so guys and gals, remember...it is only in your mind. in short your brain is just playing games on you, when that greener thing will be in your mind...it's just a trick or an illusion :)...so beware and don't be caught by it, for you will surely be sad right to the max definition of that word :>...on top is blue irises by the great master, van gogh...sadly blue but wonderfully painted, love it!

waterlilies so true

down under the mud you've sprout
from the dirty and filthy earth comes out love
so pure, so white, so gentle and bright
that draws and wins countless, precious smiles :>

i opened the box

the mailman is whistling
an unknown lullaby to my ears
the box he was carrying
is my concern and all i cared
it's taped all over and all around
the color it had you can't even tell

the door bell rang and off i go
i opened the door
with great smile and awe
the box is here your gift in tow
what could it be that
you're cooking so true

my hands rammed the ribbons
and torn all the bows
my eyes couldn't wait to
see what it showed
to my surprise there's
nothing inside
it's all but empty
for all that build up

we could have wished
and prayed for the stars
we could have sunbathed
in a beach
and worshipped the sun
we could have planted a garden
in paradise
we could have visited a church
it sure will be better than that

an egg cooked in a hot boiling bath
it's tasteless and useless
unless you put
mayonnaise, tomatoes, lettuce
and love...

in the mood

the tide is here
you must dress up
you don't want
to be imprisoned
with your pants down
skeleton and all
exposed and dried
to the elements outside

you're naked now
there's nothing to hide
your soul bares all
the light had shine
transparent and paper thin
everyone could see
every single eye
is glued on you
even the wind
and even the sky

no secret
no dark well
the laundry is clean
the smell and the whiff
of the air is like perfume
the aphrodisiac of a lifetime
that it took a century
to unveil and to smell

it's here and it's free
it's circulating
will it reach you and me
will it make us sleep and play
will it send us to the moon
and make moon cakes
out of the blue
will it?

let's listen
to the answer of the geese
but I'm deaf
sorry.

the light and the help...

...only if we ask, only if we believe...thanks mother for all the help that you've given us already...but as long as we live we humans are really in need of more such as in times like this when mother nature's fury is threatening to wreck havoc yet another time...we pray that you spare the Philippines with more heartaches and sufferings...we pray and hope for your intercession...we stand in the goodness of God as we stand with faith in Jesus' mercy and love, always...

water is not a joy sometimes...

i need the umbrella now
the hankies are just
seeping with too
much unwelcome rain

i knew it will be this way
the season is turning strangely
that the heat is slowly
turning afront

one day, the icy mountain
will flood
one day, too much water is
all we have

no heat, so sun, no moon
the plains are gone
and the mountains are just
as easy to climb

one day the water
will conquer us
cold water, unwelcome
that will make our
body to stay numb...

one day...

12-21-2012

will it happen? there are a lot of interesting interpretations from around the world on the coming? of the end of our days...12-21-2012 seems to be the target date...these predictions can make one like me pause for a while and have a deep thought of what is happening around me. life, short as it is will end in 3 years time if we believe this doomsday prophecy...but...i believe that we have a God who knows all and is the driver of the universe. if it's time to end according to Him then there is really nothing that we can do. so ergo... i am not sold to these dire predictions as of yet...not yet and i hope it won't come to pass for life is still a bed of roses at some other times to some and who knows if you can have that as well after this target date :) you'll never know you know...(^_~)...let's hope :)
