the mysteries as seen by the sky...

looking down, it can see the sand, the sea and the shopping malls. it can honed on the houses daintily decorated and demure. it can tell the intelligent, the dumb and the mocking birds. it can hear the whispers underneath as it bellowed softly in the air. it can see the maids, the masters, the servants and the sheiks. the sea shells sinking as a skunk had started to depart. the smell is so intense, it over powered the sweet, perfumy scent of the ilang-ilang and the sampaguitas.

the sky is an open secret. you look up and you can feel it. the blue and the far distant sky beyond which the reaches of your hands can't grasp. the silent whispers of the blogs that foretell the agony of a class, the despised and the lowly in their eyes. who can say that we are greater than anyone, who can say that we won and who are we to put judgement at hand. which authority that it came from? that is only yours and we are all entitled to say our parts. but the hardest thing is to put proof and dangle it in front of many inquiring minds. you are to be believed if you spoke with a briefcase and inside it is the proof beyond a reasonable doubt. although we believed, it will be nice to see it with our very own eyes :)

so many passing clouds that had ears, so many twinkling stars that had left, tired and had no more sheen that even the planets and the galaxies named after muses had slowly turned over. they don't want what they see, they don't want what they hear. they saw a conspiracy to demean and to devour the destitute domestic helpers into their dooms. the world is a stage that we are all actors and actresses and God gave us all the parts... timed to play the game of life, for a short span or in lengthy hours... but nevertheless it will end if not soon then some time...

will you be caught in your hands painting the faces of Satan, will you be caught in that drama of life lending a helping hand or being unkind. will you be caught writing, despising your co-human equal to you in the eyes of God? sure, you have more money making machines, sure you wore a golden crown, sure... but it won't be eternal. and very sure you'll leave it when your life is done...

the sky is the limit, the sky is the keeper of secrets of the mind and of the spirit. it is the tablet where it is written our humble travels. it is the paper where God can read our life's journey filled with laughter, pain or struggles. it is the ultimate spy of our lives on earth. hail to the sky that knows our hearts, hail to the sky that governs the good and the bad in us...hail to the sky, now, always and forever...

the superstar

siya parin ang pinakamagaling, para sa akin :> and i feel like ending my blog with these heart wrenching melodies...i dunno, songs that will definitely steal your attention, mine at least :)...music is the language of the soul and of the spirit after all. now i'm glad that my name is somewhat related to music, a title of an opera by giuseppe verdi and a name of elton john's broadway musical play :) hope that with my taste in music i gave justice to that name, laughs. gosh, although in music naman whatever will turn you on, diba? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aida_(musical)

stand by me...a wonderful song...

on the rugged hills of life
through the storms that will pass
stand by me in times of trials
for to me
that is very important...
***
be a friend, a family, a loved one or a stranger by chance...it would be nice if someone will stand by us. but Jesus is the only one who is always there around standing by us, anytime... this if we think about it :)

L.O.V.E. is better than math :)

for it heals the world...emotionally, that is :>
***
love is you who's always there for me
love is you who's smile just makes my day
love is sadness when you're far away
love is i can't live without you, please always stay :)

how's that, laughs...i can go on and on and write about it really. but love is your presence that always grace my day, the ultimate :>

and who cares about math? it is just there to torture you, this if you don't have the brain of Albert Einstein...there are major or better ways to decode the mind, body language for one and of course, the words and the works as well, laughs. you follow me? be careful though, for sometimes, my math is very, very unreliable :)

fake flowers, plastic pens

i chanced upon a lovely land
of colorful blooms and transparent plants
i glanced upon a pen's stack
filled with different brands

i reached out to pull a stash
and grab one writing on my pad
the pen is made of plastic it's light
as it graced my nervous hand

the ink is black, the ink is dark
it leaked and stained my hand
the pen is made of plastic
it is not made to last

my eyes slowly looked around
and rest on the vase beyond
it's full of perfectly arranged buds
of roses in reds, violets and whites

i reach my hand to touch them
with excitement and of delight
but lo and behold to my surprise
it is fake without a smell and it is hard

the pen wrote of prose and poetry
but only for awhile
the roses looked good for a few months
until the dust settled and made it dull

fake flowers and plastic pens
go hand in hand in my eyes
they're just made for the moment
not for the long run in our lives

fake flowers or plastic roses
or illusionary pens in our hands
the joy is short term and not forever
as happiness will soon depart...

and yes, just in case somebody wonders where these string of words are coming from. let me think...it came from plastic keyboards flying over cyberspace into your eyes, with you as the inspiration, you play that game so why can't i :) now don't let me elaborate bec. that is self explanatory. you should have asked...is that poetry or what? then i don't have to answer you bec. it is just, i repeat, it is just a string of words. now let me see yours, laughs. then if none can you make me one? :> not a poem or prose or poetry. i will settle for just a few string of words, okay? no copy cats allowed, let's make that clear :? and also pls. no bad words allowed as well. tsk! let me see what you can come up with, laughs. that would really be very, very interesting...i strung mine in 5-10 minutes. i know too long, but i am not claiming to be a genius here, a very valid alibi, laughs. oh well. i am just bored, i need for summer to come soon so i can garden again because blogging is not as good as gardening where you can smell and touch living plants and i am getting tired of blogging. i think it needs to end or stop but that is easier said and done and it is mind exercise although really i would rather go to the holy land than blog. i dunno, maybe i will stop now and that is a big maybe and don't count on it, as usual. but honestly why do we blog? jotting a memory, that's a good reason, i think so. that when we die, at least, we leave with a little something for people to know us, as to who we were and how our brain worked. i'd like to be remembered as one that made someone laughed, once. and i hope with me always mentioning God here...that the word God and His presence will be more known out there and with knowing Him it had changed one life for the better even a single one. yes, my fervent hope...even a single one...for that is "joy" as one nice melody title that i love and like :)

now i can only imagine...

for these 11 plants died. maybe because of the kind of soil or the very different environment. they weren't meant to live. after all the care and effort that were given to them. yes, after all the TLC that i gave, it wasn't enough, just sad. now i can only imagine their blooms. like a lost treasure, lost appetite or a lost inspiration of a very talented artist like Esteban. hauntingly sad, esp. if you are that talented like this man...plants can be replaced but love of your art when it's gone is just gone not unless divine intervention will come back hopefully to this great painter if he is still alive. i want a waterfall sir, pls....

a new dawn...

everyday we discover a new world as we wake up
everyday we struggle to make it glow and as bright
the sun maybe there shining over the valleys and over the hills
the stars and the moon might beam at night over the earth

whatever kind of day a new dawn may bring
we thank God for giving it to us be it rain
we thank all the people that we meet
who gives us positives or even the negatives

we pray for a new dawn of day
that will make us smile all through out hopefully
we pray and say goodbye to the past
be it sadness, happiness, gone glee or smiles

we thank for the memories
that will last forever over the years
thanks for meeting you all here in cyberspace
it's been a ride like no other in these couple of years...

God bless to all ...and thank you for your art, dear talented artists...my blog was made more alive with them, can't express my thanks, enough really :) i am a nobody and i am happy with that :) God calls some of us to be a mini-mother Angelica or Hillary or mother Theresa or princess Diana...these PEOPLE MADE A DIFFERENCE to peoples' lives and that is the true definition of fame in the positive sense, i think so...like one of them who changed my life forever. thank you, i always pray for you and I've always thanked God for you...everyday...till my last breath on earth. a mind is a terrible thing to waste and with her generosity my mind had escaped that fate...i am very lucky, yes, that's the word. i try to live my life worthy of that gift the best i can. yes, the best i can...by respecting other people equally...those above me as well as those below me. it couldn't get any better than that...that's my way of thanksgiving, that's the way i lead my life...no hate, i try so hard believe me. i keep silent to people that doesn't look my way instead of uttering a single nasty word to them which will reflect on me eventually. two of a kind go together as birds of the same feather flock together, we observe and learn. and at the end we are responsible for what we do, we are responsible for our own happiness. we give it and hopefully we get it back like a smile in return but if we don't God is watching and certainly He knows best...He might just decide to give us more, who knows :)

very touching diamond commercials, love them :)

two things that last longer than time and one is love? not always for it depends on the description of time...love is for eternity, so it's longer than time...but love can also be short term so in this case love can't be longer than time although diamonds are :) so ergo...diamonds are forever but definitely not love...that's why we have divorce...a walk with the person you truly want to live your life with is priceless besides luck and God graced your life :>

8 billion plus five more worth of high speed rail...hooray!

who said prayers and wishes are not answered? it might not be as fast as a bullet train but finally our president is making it possible for us to have a fast train at last! for a change :) hello California, New York and Florida...tiyong noli, jhong, jo, and edith...hope to see you when these trains will come into fruition :) i am very happy :> pics of our slow Amtrak trains here, better than none, right? but i want a bullet train, laughs. oh well.

moving on...

like a moving island in your view with palm trees in the middle of the ocean, we move on
like a sun going down on the horizon to sit and sleep until the break of dawn
like a song that had its final verse and the melody had died down
like a play that its final act had been on display, we move on
as the curtain drops and the actors and actresses had to stop
as the audience will applause for the last final time with a thanks
for the magic, for the illusions, for the make believes they've watched
for the tricks, for the acts, for the finely excecuted lines of lies
that made them mesmerized for awhile until reality sets in
that they're just being entertained and it's time to go back to their own living things...

illusions are just ploys to make money like inspirations, but reality are the truths that are backed with actions and proofs :) make-believes are magic in themselves but they end as you wake up and notice that we are all in a game for a quick buck, fun and laughter that will sadly end. but at least we were entertained for awhile, laughs. oh well. and life goes on...(^_~)...for me, let's get real and move on... away from illusions please :) lies and deceits have a way of exposing themselves at the end any way so why bother. it's just a waste of time and effort, this if you value your time like i do :> i would rather be entertained with the magic of reality for that just makes sense, laughs. but still we must say our thanks for the acts. after all it did give us that smile even though it's only for awhile and we don't want to be labeled as a none thanking spectators. yes, we need to express our thanks just the same :)

on the sunny side of the street, always :)

per Bob Barker of The Price is Right, who was a widower for the longest...and the art is by Vincent van Gogh...

you can choose which way to go
you can even imagine the road where it leads to
you can tell where the sun glows
as you can hear the waterfalls as it roars over you

you can dance on the mountain sides
you can hike in a forest paradise
you can stop and be by the beach
as you walk slowly and ponders life's mysteries

you can swim in that colorful ocean
you can touch the coral reefs and the sea horses
you can play with the fishes
as you can enjoy planet earth that's free and always there for the taking

you can say no to strangers
you can say enough to the fake entertainments
but why even bother for you know that when you're cornered
the truth will come out that you love nature as it is out there :)

so enough of the lies and the fleeting enjoyment
for there is no true happiness and true fulfillment in them
stick with what you want
which is the beach, wonderful nature
where planet earth is filled with :)

number one, i love the beach...

now it's time to go away and be at the beach even only in my dreams, for now :) the calming sounds of the dancing waves of the ocean... walking in a beach...where people take solace during the holy week...or not. seeking for inner strength, peace, happiness, contentment and the always needed renewal of the human spirit...

soft sand that
caress those tired
and worn out feet
splash of salty water
invigorating and
healing so it seems

one step closer out to
the door of the past
as you bid farewell
to the life of magic
that you've enjoyed
while it last

illusions never
stay too long
they're here today
but gone just like
the sound of a song...

walk away slowly with
great anticipation
of the dreams
that will come next
open your arms
to the light
of the sun above
where happiness is
just a door away
with its rays leading you
to the path to paradise
in just a glimpse or a glance
in just a glimpse of a glorious sunrise
that always come
that always shine
forever
in your life :)

water is life as water is a smile be it an ocean, a dripping waterfall, a pond, a river or a creek...or a faucet in your house...first, i love the beach so... go away, err let's all go away to the beach :>

if we believe...

a picture of roses taken by me from the wall of the Shrine of the Little Flower Church near our place one summer time and a premier religious painting at a wall inside St. Augustine Church in England. both lovely, work of nature and work of art :)

if we believe...life itself is a mystery. there are more questions out there than answers to the inquiring minds or even to the just riders in a leaf being washed away in a river. at the end it seemed like God loves surprises and wonders for there are no real explanations out there to who we are and why we are here only to die at the end. it's just a circle like similar to the life of plants...the earth turns and life goes on in circles, in any form, on land on air or under water...until our bodies are exhausted and that will be the end. it is very simple really. we just look back to what happened to those before us, similar to my red bud tree and tulips, they come and go but will return... only it is a cycle in another form of image of flowers and leaves but to people it is your offspring...so love kids if not only for this reason, laughs and start now for they are us going into the future...which sometimes i believe that this is the so called eternal life that goes on and on :) and it would really be nice to know how we got here at the very beginning of time in video sent by God, that would be something to watch isn't it, yeah i know i am talking to myself here, what else, laughs. i am just thinking here before i go to bed after a 12 hour work time and coming from church...so, so much for these, it does not make sense anyway, laughs. oh well.

America's most wanted painting...by Komar & Melamid (1994)

yes, i read it somewhere. maybe, for it depicts nature in its glory. but really i think it should be Adele, that Austrian Mona Lisa piece, bought by an American with a price tag of 135 million USD, the most expensive art so far. painting is trying to imitate life...the more to its likeness, like a picture perfect image, the better the painting i think :) why is this art the so called "america's most wanted" artwork. to quote Marcel Duchamp: lifted from a blog... "In the last analysis, the artist may shout from the rooftops that he is a genius; he will have to wait for the verdict of the spectator in order that his declarations take a social value and that, finally, posterity includes him in the primers of Art History"
