a painted iris...

flowers are created by God to bring smiles to the sick, a gift to the girl of your dreams, held by the bride on their weddings, a bouquet for the departed and also given as a token of thanks or remembrances for the goodness of others who made your days or your life brighter now...for a "little help given to others matters, as a little love shown heals"...so let's aid a life by any means, in any ways that we can imagine, for it is the deeds that reveal the truth of our intentions not our words. we all know that words are without meaning not unless it is executed...thanks to you dear artist for this wonderful creation of art and now the music plays :)

hello...

welcome to my world even how early or how late
let's make the best of it for we'll be here only in a bit
like in a time warp we are all put together in a space
where we lived, where we loved and where we hate

time travels and we are riding the same in a plane
where we are transported out of life at the end
so why can't we behave, enjoy every moments of it
for it'll happen only once we are here now so let's play

and let's be happy, instead...(^_~)....

i am sad that mr. khadafi can not make the right choice to give up power. now the latest news said that his son and grandchildren died in an air strike, like mr. sadam hussein did, his two sons died as well. mr. mubarak made the right decision in egypt. life is short and timed, let's give up material things and power so life may continue and endure. let's pray that mr. khadafi will recognize now that his grab for power should end esp. if you are up against all odds. the super power and its allies will win at the end. we should know our own weaknesses, we should know how to be humble and accept defeat. and if we are in that level of awareness, in our defeat we have won...

can you please let me in?

this cat was God sent, can you pls. let me in? and sure we did...and here is a happy ending kiss :>...a wonderful commercial...it reminds me of the province, beaches, fireflies and what we have recently, snow, and it is now spring...the weather here in the U.S. is really bad, lots of tornadoes this spring down south claiming hundreds of lives and the winter season was brutal, lots of snow...let's pray for the victims of mother nature. we, humans are truly helpless when she is mad and i pray that we won't have tornadoes here this spring. we have a finished basement, that is why they are built for. but God pls. make it a nice spring and summer for us...i love our state even it is wintry because we are surrounded with 5 great lakes and we have plenty of waterfalls up north, plus car making started here by mr. henry ford, so motor city is here and motown was born here as well and that is music :) so water and music i love both and i work here so no complaints :) millions of years ago we must have been hot or have a tropical weather here year round and then the climate changed for some reason we do not know, for did you know that down under us is the biggest salt mine here in the U.S. yes, the salt that they placed on wintry roads to melt the snow. salt and water, they go together for the sea is salty, right?

and a saint to be in our time...we knew him and we loved him...spreading God's presence in our church, the works of that is headed by our popes...holy people, chosen people by our God...we are lucky we have them :)

a wedding, in royal style...

it doesn't happen often that a queen and a king to be is going to be wed in our lifetime, this is my second. the first was the wedding of the prince and princess of wales aka the wedding of prince charles and the late princess diana and as we all know she was not meant to be queen for the couple's marriage ended in a divorce. we really don't know what the future holds if these two, the duke and duchess of cambridge, their newly given title by the queen will end to be the next king and queen of england. but the future will surely tell us. today is friday, the day when Jesus died, the color of the ring is blue, meaning i feel blue or sad or code blue which is a medical emergency for us when somebody is dying or turning blue and is needed to be resuscitated or to be kept alive. or the color of the peaceful sky, the color of silence, the end and death? so blue is not my favorite color, laughs, because of code blue, meaning i have to work hard to keep a life alive and that is not pleasant... princess diana has that blue dress and blue sapphire ring and same with kate, blue dress and blue ring in that announcement of their engagement. the royals love blue? i dunno blue is just sadness if we think about it. sorry color blue tho' i love to wear my blue denim jeans :)...now are colors important? like pink for female babies and love? purple for royalty. choose this if you wanna be important, laughs. but isn't it lovely that the world is just adorned with beautiful colors. i love the deep blue sea, now that is another reason maybe that i needed to learn to like the color blue :) i like green grasses and green forests with their trees and those swaying green leaves. ergo, colors make our surroundings come alive and it makes me happy :> i always anticipate going to the province then solely because of the colorful sceneries there and of course because of the clean and refreshing warm breeze...and now i can hear the parade going on of the royal wedding which is going to happen soon :) a happy TV program so i like it :) image, the royals...by marc little...

we now witnessed history, the wedding of the future king of england. the ceremony was solemn and amazing. the wedding dress is simply elegant. let's now hope that there will be a happy ending this time around...and we can only hope and pray, of course :)

and here is a happy ending kiss :>...a wonderful commercial...

on rainy afternoons...

the skies cry...but after that a sunny afternoon comes where the sky smiles...just like day and night i think...and that's life until our end comes aka until we die...how sad if we think about it. so what are we supposed to do? grab joy as much as we can but how? give joy so joy will be ours. but it's a trick for if you do it intentionally you won't get it... for happiness is like a firefly that it flies away from you when you try to grab it...top art is by gregory thielker... bottom, artist unknown...

eternally, the song...

just an example is ms. aquino's love life..."eternally" is just but a song title...i understand, human feelings change...it must be hard to be in this lady's shoe...a special child like mine, an assassinated dad, and three loves that did not pan out for they can't withstand the test of time, so ergo they were never true love...although interestingly enough here is one singer that is professing his love for her via music and via the media...he has a very nice voice kris, if that matters, laughs...as if this sis of the current prez is reading me. i know tough luck :) yeah, love...you don't have to find it for it finds you :)

and speaking of music, a verdi opera ...i wish i am in manila to watch this stage musical, Aida, for i haven't watch the musical piece that my mother had identified me with, laughs. oh well. i dunno, maybe that is why i like to hear music, any kind of music, except loud music for that will be noise, just my take, so you shouldn't be offended if that is your choice :)

kirstie and maksim danced the "american woman" :)

yeah, yeah, yeah, a shoe problem plus a fall problem recently but only 4 points from the top. half way through the season will they win, hmn, yes if a miracle happens and mind you they do :> okay guys and gals you are watching a senior, 60 year old kirstie alley and a much younger dancer, maksim chmerkovskiy compete in the dancing with the stars show. i never watched this show but a weight challenged 60 year old actress taking the plunge and the shame to lose weight in the process takes guts so that lured me in and it was worth it :) i think maksim might have done something to gain weight so to match up with kirstie, laughs. but anywho, the part where these two dances is just riveting to me...and gives me a laugh, true laugh that is...and anthony bourdain, the traveling chef with that poetic verses looked like the emcee, i think so :) they could be brothers lost in the shuffle, laughs, but anthony looked older, laughs. oh well...yes, american woman stay away from me, american woman, mama let me be, goodbye american woman as its end, i like it! i think that is one opening and the end salvo of that song :> i love it :)...my fun is very shallow, laughs...

but seriously the holy week is almost over and done. as with each passing day we take stock or take notes of our lives. are there some things that are needed to be stopped, to be forgotten as there are things that are needed to be renewed and continued or let go. it is our decision and we measure our decisions on how that experienced faired in our lives. did it bring joy, then by all means let it go on and on, but did it brought sadness, fakeness and irritation, then it is time to let go, no question...life is short. not a single moment should be wasted on kalokohans, my take...(^&*)...we can only play for awhile but at some point we will get bored...

kate and william...the would be future king and queen of england if things will take its natural course but as we all know no one knows and no one can predict the future as what happened to his parents' lives...i just finished watching the CNN program about the women who would be queen, the late princess diana and kate middleton...it is an eye opener to the persona of kate. this lady is much more equipped and ready for the queen's role i think but there is always a but...to make room for the end results :) i am not really that much interested with this coming royal wedding as i was then with princess diana's. i have several books bought about her then but never been read, laughs, no time is my excuse, laughs. i guess now i can tell that i bought them for their memories referring to the tragic ending of a fairy tale story that never really was in the first place. my conclusion there was never true love, because if there was it should have conquered all and had overcome...none, nada so the story has an unhappy ending. and i hate movies with unhappy ending. i always ask people who watch a movie that i am interested in if there is a happy ending so i can go and not waste my time and my money, laughs. oh well, but that's just me. i want to pay for movies with a feel good attitude in it at the end, sort of like winning at the end...(^_~)...won't you? of course yes, right? laughs.

change is new beginning...

like a butterfly cocoon
buds sprout out in spring
new growth of grass
grace the meadows
as wild flowers burst
and coat the american heartland

dawn will dent its way
to a dim lit sunken earth
the sun rises slowly
as colorful palettes of
shades and muted creams
beam over tortured valleys

the sea with its quiet waves
silenced by the guardian owls
the fishermen now without oars
for the boats were torn apart
fishing today is done
for no ride to haul them out

the fishes weren't sorry
they rejoiced beneath the sea
saved by the splintered woods
now separated and detached
for the nails flew and gave out
leaving the boats to capsize

then comes new beginnings
to change our course at hand
sending us new life
saving us from the past
that was dreadful, awful
and absent of laughs

hope should come today
as Jesus rises brightly
new dawn, new sky
to open up our gazing eyes
new tune... new path...
to follow in our lives...

Happy Easter Everyone :>... and happy new beginnings as well :)

the redeemer's cross...

crosses in kinds
made in familiar wood
or in cement blocks

suffering in heavy doses
where blood sputtered
dripped and dried

life given so as
to carry us from sin
of the flesh and of the mind

it is done as
the dark sky will open soon
and sparkle as Jesus will rise...

thanks for sharing your wonderful work of art dear artist...as if you're reading this...

rising...

torments and tribulations
pains and sufferings
crosses and nails
memories of your
earthly journey
steps and sojourns

hope is rising
love is hoping
time is clicking
the sky is opening
your life is the way
to our new beginnings...

the life of Jesus...

the Crucifixion by Mantegna...the sacrifice at the cross...as ashes mark our foreheads by priests uttering, "for dust you are and to dust you shall return" life ends as another life begins in the resurrection. pls. click image for a much bigger view of this beautiful work of art :) ash wednesday marks the start of the lenten season where we searched our souls and reflect on how we are forgiven of our sins and it involved death on the holy cross...

the resurrection on Easter Sunday where life had conquered death...and the birth where hope and love started it all...plus of course the teachings of the gospel to the converts in between and the performance of miracles and other holy works...but these are the three pivotal moments captured by the skilled hands of extra ordinary talented and artistic humans. kudos, for with these works of art we as Christians could understand better the life of the son of God who came to redeem our sins...

the happy Jesus painted by a lady artist, my favorite :) ...yes guys and gals never puke in Jesus' house esp. if you are imitating his top, have respect naman, even if you are playing with metaphors, gosh!...for only the devil will have his insides flip out if he sees this place. now are you? maybe so, hmn, not good for your past, present and future muse, laughs. wow, metaphors like write ups, they could be interpreted in gazillion ways and only the writer knows the truth and nothing but the truth. see mothers know best and you thought the opposite :? ...if it didn't say directly so it is not so, that's the rule :> for there are players aka gamers out there that uses and abuses and are always on the look out for their victims of the pen...(^&*)...also pls. be kind to the old, the seniors, your mother, your grandmother for you will be a senior in the future :) it is just a sign of low intelligence if the young can not even think ahead, laughs. guys and gals you won't stay young forever, mark my word :> and people are kind, for when JC and me go out together they thought that he is my little er big brother maybe just to get some smile or favor from me, laughs. oh well. i think they are just being nice or maybe they are blind...but i'll take any complement that i can get :)

the old rugged cross...

a gust of wind by john singer sargent...

no one can ever resurrect a life except Jesus...

a gust of wind can make a hat ran
with its force so strong a hand
can't even withstand

same force of wind can make us plan
a different route at some
other day at some other time

and make us wait for a gentle breeze
from a calmer sky without a cut
without a bruise in our palms

one quiet world, one kinder world
without a slap, without a trap
without zapping our hearts

now the beat had stopped
as the stagnant blood
can't flow so life is gone...

i am sad that your time had come Jimbo and flying your body on a jet cost 45,000 USD for you to come back to your native land to be buried...too costly. that is more than 2 million pesos, so you will just be cremated, the final decision..."to ashes we all came so to ashes we all shall return" how true, that is when the time of our end will come and the sad part is we do not even know when...like a thief in the night...the oldest living man recorded here in the U.S. died a few days ago as well at a whooping age of 114 years young...and his mind was all intact, so they say...lucky man, he had plenty of time to make it count, his borrowed life i meant...let's all have a solemn holy week celebration everyone...(^&*)...Jesus died... so all shall we at the end...what a sad feeling, it is holy week talaga...

let's make it count...

time wasted on a trip
as tracks filled with just bleeps
words wasted on a line
didn't move the dove to fly...

time to spin some music...

while i again try to wean myself from blogging, hope life will be light so no more postings from me for awhile, not because you all care to know but because i just don't want you all to wonder, laughs, but i reserve the right to come back or post if i want to, laughs. oh well.

music is a language used by humans to communicate, one of the many ways at least. now it's time to spin what my itune's library held. some tunes are great, some are not. some pertains to my life, some are for others...while some are just played for fun and games :> i know no one cares, laughs.

irises by vincent van gogh...sad flowers in blue...but maybe he didn't know how to paint happy pink irises, laughs...just the same, any flowers for my eyes, they are all great. i know my english is terrible but who cares :)...and to end this blog if i may in the future, i'd like to do it in a painting done by one great master of the paint who lived a century ago, john singer sargent my personal favorite painter :) and here is one of his work...

mr. frederick law olmsted by john singer sargent...with a cane and some beautiful plants and flowers. time waits for no one, old age is our future this if we are lucky enough to live longer. so be kind to your mother, your father and your elders for you will be in their shoes someday. and what i don't tolerate is people desecrating houses of God with their vomits, that is a no no...it tells you what's the worth of these individuals are. not really worth any moments of your precious time. so guys and gals be careful where you park your pukes...never in sacred places. put them in your own johns and flush it there...like what your muses or your loves did to you when they flushed you out of their lives...but who knows they might take you back...let's cross our fingers :) but better your muse to flush you than God, right? or maybe no... then stop glorifying satan...answer to questions you ask God comes in very vivid moments, it did for me, now i'm happy and satisfied :> and yes, if you judge anything like music or art for example you better have credentials, like you are an award winning singer or artist. if not then you might not be qualified to do such things...sorry, but yes like singing music i do it mispronunciations and with imperfect tunes and all... but i don't judge anything...i do it to make fun of myself, now you know, laughs. and i only judge myself not others...for i know i am not qualified :) awareness is liberation and you can interpret that in so many ways :) like metaphors, laughs. oh well. and no this is not an insult, it is opening eyes to our self worth as a person or as a human being, so there...

the night the music died...

it's been bright and light
when the eagle arrived
with its chirps and dance
one can be mesmerized

some worms and wasps
encroached in its mouth
to fill some empty and
grinding intestinal tracks

so long of a journey
to reach paradise
so long of a cycle
these engines clocked

the warm weather abound
your Eden of glory
you savored and soaked
in its sunny delight

the sea is calling
the waves are enticing
as the summer breeze touched
your warm body and hands

you've got to go
and dive down under
you've got to see the corals
the colorful mat that covered the sand

one more time
one more last time
one more kick and
then the end came

your body is now tired
time to say goodbye
it's not even night yet
the day is just beginning to fire

the music died
at the middle of the track
as the lyrics disappeared
the music is now silent, and gone...

Jimbo, you will be sorely missed...we love you...rest in peace..."starless night" made up title, "starry night" by vincent van gogh (1889)...music, "the harvest of justice" by david haas...one of the most beautiful music i've ever heard...divine justice, aka karma, we'll have it as we give it...

"The Triumph of Death" by Valdes Leal (1672)

This painting is fascinating--not only for its macabre subject matter, but also for its message: the obsession for wordly goods and pursuits is futile--for death will triumph in the end.

i am very sad...

today i heard a very sad news after phoning my mom in the philippines, the vacationing american former love of my cousin in new jersey died of drowning while scuba diving in the province. their 12 year girl daphne is now fatherless. that is probably why i was very sad while driving home today, the sky is dim and it is raining...it is this, but i was really crying because i was thinking about the tsunami victims in japan and the earthquake victims in haiti. life is like time that once it ticked it is gone. but this man was very nice to my mom when she was in new jersey. i tried to talked to him at my brod's place when he just arrived but he was asleep they said. i lost my dad when he was 60, but to this girl i know it is very devastating. a sadness that won't go away even as time moves on. a piece of you now had permanently vanished, gone. and what is left is a vacuum, an emptiness unsurpassed. i know everyone dies, but for jimbo, his nickname for us...his time came so sudden, unexpected...thanks jimbo for what you've done for my mom, driving her, welcoming her into your home...you've told her that you will be happy dying in the philippines...you are... but we are not...
