well, here he is... freddie fender...

i can't help it for he makes me laugh so i just have to play his song, laughs. girls err ladies it is very very funny, i think so, laughs. a person who woke up suddenly and found out that he or she is only in dreamland, not in reality, laughs. oh well. better late than never. my gauge is when more sadness is there, and you're miserable, then it's time to quit. that is just being kind to yourself :) for no one deserves you than the one who will love you truly in the future, so keep on looking, for you made a mistake for he is not the one. kudos for leaving, the right thing to do, you smart thing :> love is a business of the heart and when someone squeezes it to bleed then protect yourself for if that person does that to you then you have a player in your hands, you are not really loved. that is not good if you ask me, a mom's advice. you can take it or leave it and a warning here, you need to like country music, laughs.

but seriously he is very right. time is wasted only on untrue jokers, laughs. we only live here on earth for a very short while so games are just distractions to living right and of course to living happily. so let us listen to him and follow his lead for he is right...let's not waste our limited times on earth...that just makes sense...leave when you felt that you are just being used and abused...for love should make you happy and if it doesn't then something is seriously wrong. again, for your sanity's sakes it's time to hit the high road, not only for you but for that other person as well. wish him luck, pray for him or her and say your goodbyes. the right thing to do...love is not in the air now and it won't ever be even if you stay around...it's not too late yet to find someone else who will value you as a person and who will love, only you...so listen up. leave, leave, leave for good, laughs. but why do i feel that you won't? laughs. cupid must be drunk when he cast that bow, laughs. oh well. very very funny, really. oh well, again! but hey, good luck to you. whatever makes you happy, but to me that's stupidity. for love must be a two way street, not just a one lane, lonely hi-way. for it to grow, for it to be fulfilling, for it to do its job of making us happy, content and fulfilled, but this is just me :)

the houses of God...

"knock and the door will be opened, seek and you will find, ask and it will be given"...as that famous line goes... just believe, have faith and pray hard...God answers and you can bet on that :) these are just three of His houses, Mother of Perpetual Help in Baclaran, St. Michael Church and Saint Jude...
***
I knelt to pray but not for long
I had too much to do
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer
And jumped up off my knees
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer
No time to speak of Christ to friends
They'd laugh at me I'd fear
No time, no time, too much to do
That was my constant cry
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die
I went before the Lord
I came, I stood with downcast eyes
For in his hands God held a book
It was the book of life
God looked into his book and said,
"Your name I cannot find
I once was going to write it down
But never found the time"

a timely poem sent to me by my friend Erlinda, today :) thanks dear friend...no title, but how about, "No Time?" let us find time to always worship God in order to beat the devil in our lives...now i wonder if that old maid who had a lot of masters to serve, the one who always take a taxi and being dropped off from apartment to apartment as written in an article before had found time to go and worship God. i hope so :)
***
this Mother of Perpetual Help pic was posted by me in the morning here and in the evening at Phil. News, there it is... in the news, with live shots inside for it is a place where political oppositions to the Arroyo gov't are gathered and praying. a coincidence? things happen in mysterious ways :)

70 x 7 times, is the times that we forgive those that hurt us, this is coming from God. so with this let us all start to forgive each other, for after all this will make our world, our lives a lot easier to live :) so no worries if you hurt me, i won't take this against you. i will just pass it on to God, no kidding. and you will answer to Him :) but as we know He is a forgiving God...so, smile :)

savor the sweetness

savor the sweetness of the young
savor the sleekness of those arms
taste it now, hug, cuddle and love
for time will get it sooner than you've realized

the skin will sag and shrink
those hairs will turn gray and white
don't dye it be proud
of these God given gift that won't last

power this it's new
but wait until tomorrow
you sexy you will be turning old too :)

isn't it the truth? we are blinded by our youth of today and forget that tomorrow will be our turn to get older and uglier. so wake up, no need for cheers here, if you realized that what you have now is just temporary, for as days go by, every one gets older and passe :> but hey rejoice and enjoy your freshness, your youngness. for sure as time rolls by, we can't do that anymore, laughs, the sad truth of it :) this is wisdom from an old maid, a mom... of Michael that is...(^_~)...

and yeah, not people alone could be classified as old, your things as well, your tools for your trade, laughs. but really welcome the new, but say thanks to the old for all the work that it did for you, that worn out sexy thing then, laughs. but that sexy NOW will be unsexy too eventually, laughs, but really this depends on the upkept and the maintenance put into it, her or him. there are people that are sexy at 60, men and ladies alike, laughs, err even things as well, laughs. it depends really on the usage, the love and the care that it had gotten from you, laughs. oh well. hmn, now a thought, how many of us will still be sexy at 60 or 70? that is the question, or maybe we will be dead by then, not funny. but again even what age are you in, young or old, if it's your time or your turn to die, it will happen...so really, let's all savor the moment of NOW :) for tomorrow is not promised to us. so sexiness, is it relevant? i bet guys and some gals enthralled with their outward physical attributes will say yes, laughs. oh well. but i say, enjoy your youth for it sure won't last...

Elvis, the BEST...the KING of Rock n' Roll, my all time favorite will start the rolling of the melodies here, laughs. you know our senorito plays around like some guys out there do, secretly of course, laughs. one time our senorita took an overdose of sleeping pills bec. of it and she was rushed to the hospital. i was very glad that she survived :) my nursing career will be in jeopardy, but really i care about her not my schooling then. we were all very worried...so this music brings that memory..."No More"...and then the list will begin at last...so cover your ears, kick yourself out of here if it isn't your type, laughs. but really the list here is composed of not only of the old, it comprised of the new as well. so enjoy? i hope :)

and of cabbages too :)

ornamental, unedible flowering cabbages, that is. courtesy of my garden as well :) lovely! i think so :>

of cosmoses and clematises...

from my very own garden, one summer time :)

it's now or never...my music will float in the air, one by one :)

San Lorenzo, Senorita and smiles...spanish songs...blurting out loudly every weekend in that speaker all over the place around their open wide terrace facing the swimming pool. old romantic songs. see our senorito is an old romantic who loves old serenades for his lady love, our beautiful senorita, my benefactor. sad that at 60 he died of liver cancer. had an open and close operation at Makati Medical Center. There's nothing they can do, inspite of their wealth, inspite of their millions. he used to drink every night like around 6-8 beer, semi-frozen, served in a tray with that crocheted cloth around that bottle so that his hands won't feel the cold. served by his butler dengdeng a spanish man who also died shortly after him, doubly sad. dengdeng was very friendly, happy go lucky guy with all that smile. we missed them both even up to now...

Senorita's b-day is coming soon :) she is a pisces that's why maybe why we got along. i felt that i was a favorite :) i am lucky :> okay, since the special day of my virgin mary look alike spanish lady benefactor is closely edging by, i will play the most memorable music that i remember her husband loves to play for her on the air then, so brace yourself young folks for these are not your music. you're forewarned, laughs. but first i'd like to listen to my two ultimate favorites...the piano pieces of Newell Oler, "Help Me Make It Through the Night" and "You Belong to my Heart" very, very nice! now all my almost 500 music favorites too are lodged into my new dell vista computer, happiness :) let the music play...now :> and yes, these songs are for God...to help me everyday not only through the night and He always belonged to my Heart from the very start :) how about you?

the songs, my downloaded favorites will start to shuffle after...so click out if you're not happy as well, laughs. oh well. this is my blog so i'll play the music that i want, love and like :) and i go for the delivery, the melody even if it does not apply to me, although some do :> ah music, the language of the silent soul, my own definition :) and music the mask, the master of disguises or other wise, the coded words of love, hate, or what have you. music makes one crazily captured and it will make one cry. but also it hypnotizes you and all of us, sometimes :) and thanks to all music writers who are geniuses in their own rights! you entranced us with your creations, you enveloped our souls with your sad and sorrowful songs at times...you are all very important to our lives. you all make a difference to our world more than you all will ever know :> and of course the singers, the composers, the artists themselves. for without them written music is nothing...a silent piece of nothing...like words without actions, like numbers that do not match, like lies coming from the teeth of a lion, a metaphor, laughs...all false, all illusions...and nobody wants that. it is unhappiness, it is all sadness unsurpassed...for you, for me, and for all of us...a nasty game that no one wants to play including me. that's for sure...so let's not get caught with it and avoid it like a plague :) let's just go... with the music instead ...(^_~)... starting now :)

big SMILES and true HAPPINESS!!! :>

Philippines' made! Thanks Loida and Phil :) in search of a gumamela had brought me these lovely blooms. Lovely, pretty and charmingly beautiful... plus a lot more :> smile and happiness...yes!

the generation divide

will it matter in politics? that is the question. for it has been proven that age does not matter in the affairs of the heart. will it be the same in politics too? Hillary is 60, McCain will be 72 this year, and Obama is 46, so there is this generational age gap. should one's age factor when one is being considered for the highest position of the land? John McCain's mom who is 96 definitely would say it shouldn't. just recently her son reacting to the news of Fidel Castro's stepping down as head of Cuba, he said that he hoped this man, Castro will die soon, like joining this person who is dead, said in a metaphor like fashion as writers always do. i was unpleasantly surprised by his response. i thought this man has another side of him that does not think. we don't hold anything here on earth forever. sooner or later you'll have to let go, like love ones, your life or what have you so let nature takes it course. i think it's very unkind of him to make those remarks or wish this other man's untimely demise. yes he is an enemy but to wish him that in public for all to hear is wrong, but that's just me. anyhow, i thought that when you're older one should be wiser, and this comment had proven otherwise, to me at least.

here and every where most people really does not care about the generation divide, even in politics as i observed. it is in one's level of maturity, experience and qualifications that one should be judged if they are fit to serve and to hold office in any government post. but sadly in some countries, connections, money and popularity dominate the criteria or the selection process. even if you're dumb as long as you are popular you can be president. so the result is a government that is mismanaged, a government that is not able to deliver the goods and serve its people as it should be. instead you know the pockets of these politicians are getting served. what a mess. more so if others around would want a piece of that pie too, laughs, then a revolt will ensue like what is happening in my native land right now. i really don't know what to make of it. people are being voted in office just to have that license to steal millions to whatever gov't contracts that will come their way, kick back this or that, laughs. oh well. politics is a dirty game. how true! with people losing their souls in the process. people will be killers or the other way around, they get killed.

having political power is a true test of a man on how he'll use that power according to Phil. News, i agree. and Mrs. Aquino is the one that i remember that passed that test, in flying colors if i may add. a very righteous lady, just sad that she'll have to lose her love just to have this position of honor. in my own view no amount of money could match a good reputation. it travels around and it could be read by everyone even when you're long time gone...and isn't it just amazing that we build our reputation sometimes in the way we respond to challenges in our lives. on how we react to them, on how we knowingly or unknowingly handle or response to them. and by this we are silently judge by other people that we didn't even met, that we didn't even know personally...yes, very strange but very true...now it meant here that you've been peeled, cooked and blendered by your mom or dad bec. of being a naughty boy or girl, laughs. and not by your prince charming, or Cinderella or Delilah, laughs. oh well. and that is only the beginning, so beware!

the winds of change

the wheel is winding down
the carousel filled seats
is slowly inching
gently stopping
at your doorsteps
by your house

it's your turn
your ride
it's your take
your side
to tell the story
to feel the glory
to be on the seats
of those who went before you
of those whom you've thought
you'd never follow

up and down it went
the sun spun and burnt
while the moon moved
while the earth played
and slept

now slowly as you stepped
on board
one by one after each other
your feet so cold
you've realized
it's your turn
to leave this life
to give this life
that you adored
that you borrowed...

to all those whose time had come to leave this earth, like this beloved MD of our institution...a sweet journey to forever to all...

Philippines, I MISS YOU...

http://www.batch2006.com/visit_nueva_vizcaya.htm

I was looking for that gumamela flower, the one that is shaped like a cigarette or a tube like umbrella that's about to open but lo and behold flowers! are popping everywhere and not only just flores but Phil. made, grown flowers so I was sooo happy! and you can look at some interesting pics too and form your very own conclusions or opinions, laughs. Lovely multi-petaled gumamela and the Phil's version of the millionaires' bloom :> pretty! wow :) the powder puff and this type of gumamela is really written in my brain since i was very little. so my memories would like to re-visit that time again :) i never saw it during vacation time, this type of the gumamela, but i saw the powder puff at our Lady of Manaoag Church's grounds, so i'm happy :>

and surprise!!!

http://www.batch2006.com/visit_bananue.htm

the same girl and the same man. see i was at work googling the gumamela that i knew then, the tobacco like reddish bloom when i found the one on top and now I'm home looking out for that variety that i like and here is the same guy and gal, laughs. and they're in Banaue too, where i did my rural service after graduation. this man really takes good pics, the one that i like...with flowers! dogs! and churches! :) lovely! but it's not the gumamela that i was looking for though...so the search will go on :) i really miss the Phil. grabe talaga.

finally i found it, the pic above :) but it seems like it needed TLC and fertilizers to look great, laughs. and these blooms have a nicer color... pinkish...the one a long time ago is kinda red orange.

the heart's bloom is...

the primrose...but now adays there's no love lost between the two democratic candidates here vying for the presidential nomination. i wonder with a glimpse of this lovely flower, will they change their minds and stop dissing each other? laughs. i doubt it! i love this flower, i just can't get enough of it :) i haven't seen them yet in any flower nursery here or else i had planted it already in my garden :> i wonder if it's an annual or perennial which means it will come back without replanting it again like my tulips :)

Monday, February 18, 2008

tulip means spring :)

"let's look for the brightness of tomorrow over the gloom of today" said Fr. Chateau earlier at mass today...these are my very own captured memories from my garden one past bright spring time :)

Mother Angelica

when angels flew up above
you were with them
and landed in our land

when God created
one loving heart
you were the chosen one

when all, your life
your breath is gone
you will always be loved

for all your sacrifice
for all your tireless
endless work for Jesus

you gave it all
you begged
you suffered
you cried
just to have EWTN
in the air waves for us

thanks dear mother
your life is a master
of love and of sacrifice
your life is an example
for all humans, like us

i salute you, i love you
you are the symbol
of love, and of Valentines :)

may you live a little longer more...

from my very own...

garden one summer time, i thank you for your accidental visit :)

a late valentine tune for your lady love?

she is a "senior's" hot date, yes truly, laughs. a stupendously hot hounding date, of not of the dog or of the doom kind, of course :) that "prize" with a smile comparable to a light bulb that'll brighten up a room, laughs. oh well. okay "let's go" girl, "stick your tongue out" for all to envy you :> and your "darlin'' will be proud, laughs. yes, with that "flaming red lips" too :) i promise, i will take this entry out soon bec. of its very envious content. it will go away for it's not really good for you, or for me, laughs. sorry? but i might change my mind and keep it for it puts a smile on my face. but how about you? laughs. just a joke of course...i know you can take it, and i'm talking to YOU, laughs.
***
and now don't blame me for liking this song :) this guy must have truly loved this Delilah of his, laughs. but again that is cupid working overtime, so sorry guys :) nothing more important to post that's why. oh well. entertaining? now, i don't know about that, laughs. but what i know is, this smitten guy who wrote this song is there for his lady love. kinda like what this on going song on air by Hem is all about, laughs. and i know i got that one right even if no one agrees with me. really, i love this song. it's magical, this according to my very own set of ears. i know it might not be the same with yours, but i do understand, laughs. now the best part is i can't decide if this is an offensive or a loving kind of song and i will never know for i don't know the singer or the song writer, darn! so i'll let YOU decide, laughs. my guess though is that it's a "happy" and loving song :> my take, but...i had some doubts at times...and thanks for the lady that posted this on her blog, i just took a copy of it. hope she doesn't mind...and i don't think she will...(^_~)...

"Cupid's Chokehold"
Gym Class Heroes (feat. Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy)

Ba ba da da
Ba ba da da
Ba ba da da
Ba ba da da
Ba ba da da

Take a look at my girlfriend
She's the only one I got (ba ba da da)
Not much of a girlfriend
I never seem to get a lot (ba ba da da, ba ba da da)

It's been some time since we last spoke
This is gonna sound like a bad joke
But momma I fell in love again
It's safe to say I have a new girlfriend

And I know it sounds so old
But cupid got me in a chokehold
And I'm afraid I might give in
Towels on the mat my white flag is wavin'

I mean she even cooks me pancakes
And Alka Seltzer when my tummy aches
If that ain't love then
I don't know what love is

We even got a secret hand shake
And she loves the music that my band makes
I know I'm young but if I had to choose her or the sun
I'd be one nocturnal son of a gun (ba ba da da, ba ba da da)

Take a look at my girlfriend
She's the only one I got (ba ba da da)
Not much of a girlfriend
I never seem to get a lot (ba ba da da, ba ba da da)

Take a look at my girlfriend
She's the only one I got (ba ba da da)
Not much of a girlfriend
I never seem to get a lot (ba ba da da, ba ba da da)

It's been awhile since we talked last and I'm tryin' hard not to talk fast
But dad I'm finally thinkin' I may have found the one
Type of girl that will make you way proud of your son

And I know you heard the last song about the girls that didn't last long
But I promise this is on a whole new plane
I can tell by the way she says my name (ba ba da da)

I love it when she calls my phone
She even got her very own ringtone
If that ain't love then I don't know what love is (ba ba da da)

It's gonna be a long drive home but I know as soon as I arrive home
And I open the door take off my coat and throw my bag on the floor
She'll be back into my arms once more for sure

Take a look at my girlfriend
She's the only one I got (ba ba da da)
Not much of a girlfriend
I never seem to get a lot (ba ba da da, ba ba da da)

She's got a smile that would make the most senile
Annoying old man bite his tongue I'm not done
She's got eyes comparable to sunrise
And it doesn't stop there Man I swear
She's got porcelain skin of course she's a ten
And now she's even got her own song
But movin' on
She's got the cutest laugh I ever heard
And we can be on the phone for three hours
Not sayin' one word
And I would still cherish every moment
And when I start to build my future she's the main component
Call it dumb call it luck call it love or whatever you call it but
Everywhere I go I keep her picture in my wallet like here

Take a look at my girlfriend
She's the only one I got (ba ba da da)
Not much of a girlfriend
I never seem to get a lot (ba ba da da, ba ba da da)
Take a look at my girlfriend
She's the only one I got (ba ba da da)
Not much of a girlfriend
I never seem to get a lot (ba ba da da, ba ba da da)

"Love is all it takes"

to live in contentment, and to live in happiness on this earth :) HAPPY LOVE DAY TO ALL!!! and THANKS for your visit, as always :) Wishing everyone a truly Happy Valentine's Day! Enjoy this day!

LOVE is...according to the BIBLE :)

1. If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

2. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

3. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.

4. Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful;

5. It is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;

6. It does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right.

7. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8. Love never ends; as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

9. For our knowledge is imperfect and our prophecy is imperfect;

10. But when the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away.

11. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.

12. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Corinthians 12:31-13:13

...then with this definition i never had loved. that's okay, if i had loved my fellow man, the way i knew, the way i want them to love me, then it's just like this love defined to me by the Bible :)

and google on top has a nice caption of Valentines'08. terrific, don't you think?

NUMERO "UNO"

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23096596
and don't forget to check this dog's video on the lower right side of the link. lovely! numero uno indeed!

snow take two...winter memories :)

we have another snow advisory! 5 inches of it, it never stops. it's winter wonderland one more time, but i have enough of it, laughs. really, too much na. spring where are you?
***
and i'm gonna let you into a very dirty secret about politics here. the republicans are voting for Obama so that he'll be the nominee for they figure out that he is the easier candidate to beat in the national election. these people are called by Hillary, the well funded activist and they don't represent the voting section comes November. and it is very true. the republicans do that and even the democrats as well. so you get the picture why this man is beating my idol and it's not funny! and they are right. Obama won't have a chance to beat McCain, Hillary will have though and she is better in debates for she has more far reaching grips or knowledge of the topics being discussed at hand. this is not only coming from me but from political observers as well as they give their opinions on the air :)

what to do with your dreams...

according to the song in this video..."hold on tight"... nice piece, very inspiring. don't you think? :)

UNO looked like bulldog

I LOVE DOGS! as you can see in my old pic here :) and UNO the top hound dog looked like BULLDOG, our cute, cudly and very lovable dog then when i was little :) a sad flash back for me, to remember our family dog. why do dogs die? to see UNO pls. click the link below :)
***
"kiss and say goodbye" by the manhattans, a dog gone sad song...hey, no melodies for lost dogs so this will do, just change the lyrics :) it's up to you, laughs...btw, bulldog was 15 y/o when he died. he died of old age. we took care of him real well, bathed with shampoo, all the works. he was loved and taken care of very well, extra ordinarily well. if that is a consolation...dogs are love and can be valentine symbols as well...
***
but you know this is a sad pre-love day song isn't it? the lyric's writer must be in the dumps after this broken heart song but that is life. love comes and goes, boyfriend after boyfriend, lover after lover. not unless it is true love and it's blessed by God, the most important ingredient. without it love goes nowhere, love is not really love...and it is destined to fail and to die...

Painted Valentine :)

Here it is, the most expensive work of art to date, in painting that is. An expression of love? Well, at least that's what the story was trying to imply, laughs. But really, is it worth that enormous price? Maybe, to the person who bought it who had that much cash to spare in his hands. But with that millions, it could make countless hapless humans not to miss their meals. It can build a hospital for the sick in a needy and poor distant land. It can fund environmental projects that would lessen the size of that ozone layer or that hole up in the sky. That money can also try to pay for studies aim to reverse global warming and keep that big chunk of ice in that arctic region before it melts its way into oceans nearby. Too much more important of an endeavour for our own planet's benefit, than a golden painting which can be bought with much much lesser of that amount. Really. But this is just me and I don't control that money, sad. So let's just close our eyes for these far far more reaching, more substantial and more meaningful tasks. With the hope that we can still be mesmerized just the same by this expensive piece of art no matter what or in spite of what endearing equivalents might have been dancing in my mind...So enjoy?

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,13509-2233164,00.html

bringing back an old entry for this coming love day. a painted lady love, so they say. a Mona Lisa equivalent. so enjoy it again one more time? :>

"superstition" by stevie wonder is on the air right now, very nice :) like 'i just called to say i love you' 'one little x-mas tree' and there is one other sunny song that i forgot the title. his music is full of wonder to me, all the time. a winner :>

phil. news today has a good valentine's line that goes like this, "love the ones that you can, touch the ones that you can reach, and let go of the rest" :) and...my addition, paint the one that you love, like what this guy did, laughs. then your love day will be complete :> am i genius or what? laughs, just kidding of course. express your love the way you like it, my take :)

happy month of hearts to all!!!

an old photograph with a heart shaped background given by my teacher to me 2-3 years ago for my copies are nowhere to be found. she is the mom of percy btw :) and this teacher had even written a very meaningful equivalents of my name, thanks madam :> i loved it. until now years had passed she still there for me and in her letters she ends it with "your mom" a true heart filled with love lady for me, I'm lucky :) so i remember her on valentine's day. just sad that her also teacher husband died last year...
***
i was age nine in this pic. and still doesn't know the value of a smile :) yup, memories are made of this :>

i don't know...

things are getting dicey here politics-wise. Obama is very very hot, like a rock star now adays winning 4 states last night and delegate-wise he's on top, the front runner. plus he is well funded by Oprah, laughs. a big Hillary headache, but it ain't over yet until the fat lady sings as they always say. hopes are high on big states that will be next like Texas and Ohio whose primaries are fast approaching, Hillary's turf they say, so we'll wait and see. what an easy push for her to be the nominee as predicted then turned out to be false. now she's holding on for dear life. Obama is giving her a run for her money, true money her very own which she put in her own campaign. money talks and this is the proof. i wonder what trick was done by the Obama campaign that all these young voters who weren't involved then are very much alive and energized now, that is the big puzzle to me. and if it won't be settled by the numbers of accumulated delegates won, then it may come to the super delegates which are the mayors, governors and elected officials which they're saying will go for Hillary so that will be a big problem. what would the Obama supporters think if it boils down into this scenario at the end. there will be animosities between the two camps which may lead to the defeat of whoever will be the democratic candidate bec. of the votes or support with held. so what a mess if it will come to this end. well really, i'm not very very optimistic that anyone can beat John McCain anyhow, so why bother? but the pundits on both parties are having a ball on the air right now. for the thrill it brings, for the surprise and for the unpredictability that this on going race is creating for the world to savor and to see :) it is definitely fun but i bet not for the candidate themselves. it is torture galore, it is nerve wracking and a stress unsurpassed. but the price is all worth the pain. to be the leader of the best, the greatest and the only super power country on earth plus the perks. a big house and a big plane of your own, but that is only superficial. the best part is you can call the shots to be of help and of service to your country men, and that is only just the beginning for you will have the power to change things. it is also a door that only a few in history had passed :) only a lucky few, who will have this God given gift, to be the president, the top dog of a country where a number of humans on this planet earth wish to live and to be in...just look at the border battle near Mexico and in the waters of Florida. people are risking their precious lives just to set forth in this country and that speaks volume on how they perceive this country. but anyhow if you win and have the prize like former president Bill Clinton did you will be in a world like no other and with experiences that only a few privileged people had plus your name will be noted in history till the end of time. you'll be remembered, buried with honors and admired or despised, depending on your job performance. so what a life it will be for the winner, which most of us can only imagine, and can only dream of...

well, i wonder how many spelling errors i have, for i won't know bec. blogger is not helping. maybe bec. they added 3 languages where people can blog recently. and the spelling feature of these 3 is still needed to be worked at, hmn. but really this is not a good idea for i needed that feature badly, laughs. oh well, but no worries, no one ever reads me anyhow so i think i'm safe. just only me talking to my silly self here, laughs. except for a few maybe that are lost souls and landed in here accidentally. welcome btw ...(^_~)....and pardon my grammar and my attack on the english language, laughs. and i know you're kind, but are you really? :>

thanks for your visit :)

art is us...

my own definition :) and here are two artists that i like :> but there is this one older guy whom i bought one of his paintings last summer at costco, a multi-awarded french artist that my mind is not giving me his name right now. he does flowers too :) and he is a sought after artist by the elite and the rich so that speaks volume on his works which are on display on museums and government buildings. i'll remember his name later, laughs. but yes, for only 300 USD i have one of his lower end art work, laughs. and true, art fascinates me as well but not that much as i am glued to politics. for art does not rule or change or affect my life as politics do :) the former is for luxury looking but politics is a life turner. these politicians passed laws that might change our lives substantially. so again, i go for substance and meaning as i always do :)

cheap shots

hanging reddish flesh
pointing at you
did you not think
that it might just
be for you

curses, words
that you've typed
are just the match
and it jibed
of what your true self
and who you really are

in a matter of time
cheap shots that
you do or planned
will just boomerang
back at your satanic
self at large

don't rejoice just yet
for tomorrow is
not yours yet
it might just be a trick
that like satan
working in your head

God is looking at us
and He's always up to par
and who knows
what He'll do next
then you might just
have guessed
that you're rejoicing
without winning yet, laughs.

isn't it too sad that we presumed things and we think of things that is totally opposite to the outcome that will be fall on us eventually. we thought we had it, we are up there floating in the air with victory but just as hard as a falling apple in our heads, we woke up one day, that we are not really on cloud nine, but the total opposite which God had sent us to put our lives in true and totally on the right perspective. it happens, we thought we are a winner but lo and behold things are just the opposite as we realized that following day, so just a sad situation. the bad thing here is we forgot that tomorrow is another day, it might not be ours to celebrate, laughs. and we presumed that is based on today that it'll just be roses for us too but no. life is notorious for setting us straight, we acted foolishly and so our down fall is next. and it happens all the time. but for some there is no lessons learned and they follow the same path all over again, laughs. but hey it's their own lives so it's their own to waste and to navigate. this is just my very own observation. and the truth is there's no need to rejoice that hard, for even then you had the prize there is still tomorrow that might take it away from you, and remember there is also death lurking out there that might take you away from your victory, or your prize. oh well. but hey go ahead and rejoice for who knows you might not be able to do it in the future. hmn, well thought. i thought so :> and...even if you think you've won, would it be nicer to feel compassionate or kinder to the losers? but no, you're sticking your tongue out to them and that thing is full of germs, laughs. but as i remembered people that do that will just be losers in the end, and you needed proof? no need to, for the proof is just within your reach, yourself :)

"talk is cheap"

but action runs deep, my very own addition, laughs. yes, there are a lot of promises here and there by candidates who are seeking for political office just to get votes in order to win and hillary is no exception. although, i tend to believe her for her husband's accomplishments in office. a wise person knew this already. just plain words or talk and no action to be seen is just similar to lies in my book so pls. beware. hear or listen but observe for the real deal, the action that follows or else you'll just be in the midst of an illusion, laughs, and nobody wants to be in that place :) refuse to be used, but did you observe that we do that to each other every now and then? laughs. although i call that help to another human being but to a certain extent, of course, very similar to that line drawn in the sand and you know what i mean :)

the beauty that is a waterfall :)

flowing in a heart-shaped? cliff mountain, but i think it was just photo-manipulated, laughs, or cascading gracefully in bunches of magestic steps, it is very hypnotizing and a sight to behold, to me at least :) real happiness! now in our next phil. vacation, a pic. of a phil. waterfall should be in the works :) and a visit to saguijo which we didn't do the last time. it would be something maybe to hear our local bands perform and see how people are being treated there first hand. note to self, be extra-ordinarily kind and respectful to the lowly just like me for respect begets respect :) and the usual trip to downtown manila. i love the philippines, second to none :) but i say that to the U.S. as well. i have two loves country wise for i am very lucky to have two :) like that heart shaped mountain above, i'm torn between two places, but i'm not complaining for again i'm lucky to have two :> and i'm happy and i love it!

back to the basics :)

in our lives it is very amazing that if you put it all to God, the things that you are not privy of or the things that you don't have the knowledge of, the light from God always clears the path for us. it paves the streets for us to the truth clearing the way for us, thereby flashing the answers to the puzzles that are seemingly so hard to solve. back to the basics, meaning putting it all to Him. He shows us the way to the truth and the light. my life has always been this way and so far it never fails. i get answers and i instinctively follow the lead. for who knows the best for us? God of course :) so never hung up for Him for He's always there for us when everyone won't for they're just humans...imagine life without religion, without a higher being, our lives will be chaotic and in shumbles. faith in Him is a must, trust in Him is tantamount to a life of love, contentment and happiness in this world. so let's do what we're suppose to do. let Him lead the way for us and we won't be lost, imagine that :)

flowers of note :)

tulips and hydrangeas remind me of my husband, laughs. but this on the bottom is the blue that i prefer :) painted in life-like form by an artist for his wife :) beautiful! and the top reminds me of the painting that my husband bought, laughs, but the one in the middle is a bloom of the money plant, my very own, a look alike hydrangea, i think so. so valentines day means flowers for me :> thanks to a very loving "old" person, like me, laughs, although he's a lot older than me :)

yes, there is no clear winner between hillary and obama after the super tuesday vote. and hillary had to dole out 5 million of her own money now to fund her very own campaign. in contrast obama who is bank rolled by the rich oprah winfrey is well set financially. but really, 4 years of experience as a senator pales in comparison with hillary's own years of service to the american people plus her husband who's been there and done that. i would prefer a pro than a learn as you go along person to handle the many problems of this country. the economy is on its way to recession, the credit crunch, the mortgage melt down, the war on terror, the border immigration problem, i think these needed an experienced individual to guide us not a new young hand. he'll have his turn eventually, but no, here he is with that slogan of change. yeah, what change? to the less experienced and unchartered waters which he will be the pilot? not for me, i needed proof of capability. words are just dreams floating in the air. we needed a much more substantial entity, much more wisdom, to meet what america is being thrown right now. two heads in one, that is hillary, with bill clinton, of course. the man who under his watch brought prosperity to this country and in spite of his sex drives, he is still being regarded highly all over the world and even here, for his accomplishments as president. a very intelligent man, compassionate to the working class like me...so there you go. i go for substance not just merely for words or promises, for who knows if they will come into fruition...so dream on, if you are an obama supporter, laughs. but really, think guys, and think really good before you vote :)
