answers to the sun

the thick plot
of the story
has to unfold
the mystery answer
to the question
is now on hand
to behold

the darkened
road filled with fog
is slowly clearing now
as the shimmering
sun rays suddenly
zipped by

clarity at last
no more darkness
to envelope our hearts
lives could go on as planned
while grasses begin to grow
and flowers begin to bloom
as the bees began to buzz...

this way no more peeping through, bec. you might break your neck in the process :>
***
that hot blog from down under is a true testament of how sad the world around us sometimes. and yes i do peep on these kinds on occassions but i try to be very careful not to hurt my neck, laughs. i know that the upper class phil. is all eyes on this one, so can you blame me if i spend a little time on it too? :) yes i admit i am nosy at times and so are you if you happen to know the story and you are reading these...at this minute :>

the weight that tipped the scale

show me the trick
how to catch
more fish today
after that long
muggy boat ride
the fish needs to bite
these wiggly worms
on this fishing line
they're ready
they're eager
to be eaten
to be sacrificed

what a lucky time
the empty buckets
the empty jars
are full at last
and the night is still early
and the dawn is still far
from our sight

fishes from the sea
mannas from heaven
had filled these empty jars
enough to feed
enough to fill these hungry
and growling stomachs
as the bounty is
revealed right in our face
with the answers to questions
that long had bothered us

a seesaw of ups and downs
a yes or no, truth or lies
the weight is as heavy
the weight that
showed us the way
the one, yes the one
that tipped the scale
that stripped off the lies
which opened the truth
in front of our eyes
for everyone to see
for everyone to
be mesmerized...

a terrible strings of words here, so pardon pls. laughs. oh well. very funny that we have to wait and to rely on a scale to show us the way, for we could have used our very own analytical mind to do that for us sooner or earlier. this way no precious time was wasted to nothingness or to the wind :) but that's life, it does play tricks sometimes and this is one of those times...

there is this big gossip happening in the cyber world right now which is just kinda sad. the Internet will cast shadows to one's reputation truth or lies or to any business for that matter. the Phil. Daily Inquirer to be the paper of the intellectuals? and the other one as described as rats? one of my favorite writer as a drug addict so the accusation goes and a whore which came to me as a surprise. it's just that people for some reason or another have this open forum world wide that is very accessible to anyone. a medium to vent out anger to another human being just to get even. dark secrets will be dragged into the open that only the one that truly cares for you will close their eyes. juicy gossip, that is. so it is very disturbing. esp. when you are the one that is being accused of these things. it is better to fight it head on if it's not true. but if it is true, then admit it and seek help. it's your life after all so you needed to take responsibility for it, for no one cares about us the most than us ourselves. there is no better feeling than a clear conscience. and people although not all have kind hearts and will understand, this if you are seen as taking the blame for your mistakes and making an honest to goodness effort to change yourself and your life and be a better person. money is nothing compared to a good reputation. for you would not want to be remembered as a bad person owning the universe. it's better to be poor but being remembered as a nice, kind, loving and a helpful human being. this is my take and I'm sure the majority of you all out there as well...

heart's shadows

a perfect shot with just the right amount of light. lovely! thanks to you for your unusual photograph:)
***
cast a spell on a heart's affair
light a fire that will burn forever
golden greens and creamy whites
with yellowish tinged of the divine

close you eyes and dreamily ride
over the clouds and reach the stars
over the moon and near the sun
where happiness is, your heart's desire...

laughs, what a poem? i dunno, but really for me the sun is happiness as well :

the flowers of spring...

painted and photographed...very pretty! thanks to you who owns them :)
***
spring is new beginnings
with changes every where
hidden or in the open
will come in our dens
so don't ever be brain washed
with ideologies unmasked
pray hard that all mankind
will live according to God's path
then all the devils
of this planet
will disappear fast
will be defeated
will be cast aside
so no more tears
no more sufferings
no more hardships
for all of us...

and ladies and gents beware for unsolicited, uncorroborated rumors being passed around...look for proofs not just mere words and accusations alone. like if you're loved, you would want to see the proof in the pudding, won't you? for if none then it's just lies or illusions in your mind and in your eyes that might just drag you down. so pls. beware and be forewarned :)

news is floating on the air about a brokered democratic convention where Al Gore, the former Vice President and Nobel Peace Prize winner will be the nominee instead of Hillary and Obama, to me this sounds very good. I voted for Al Gore so i was disappointed when he lost although he won the popular vote meaning he had more votes than Bush. but since the electoral count which each state here is allotted for to have depending on their population count, determines the winner, Bush got lucky bec. of Florida, uhm, where his brother was the governor then. a lot of democratic votes were thrown aside unaccounted for due to technicality? uhm, so they say. okay in short, there is brotherhood help here, some claimed. so there you go. Al Gore will be a great match to John McCain...with lots of animosities and bad blood happening between these two remaining democratic candidates now adays, this idea is not bad at all. so let's hope for it to materialize, i like it...

changes in the weather

the biking days are over
all summer long
the rain forest is changing
from warm to cold

the golden leaves of fall
the colors that you brought
are lost in the gutter
to rust and to destroy

then the cold clammy
hands of winter
grips you in the nose
for the icy roads are here
once more to behold

but spring, hello
where are you
come now, it's you
next to summer
is what i've always
waited to show

the changes that you bring
the flowers in between
the birds, the green trees
and the warmth in the air
i can't wait to see you
what's keeping you in?

some plants and flowers...

mine...but now they're just memories...phloxes, clematises, mini-sunflowers, my sweet potato leaves' plant, aka kamote tops in the Phil., pink lilies, purple lavender, and the orange American lilies at the bottom :) yup, my own plants make me smile, i like to look at them every time i get the chance. they're not really that great, but they're mine, so i love them :) happiness! and yeah a lot better than my own old me pics, laughs. but my plants, they are great. even the truth is that they're not, laughs. oh well. I'm really crazy about plants and flowers, i can't help it :)

and okay for the fall out of that endorsement of Bill Richardson of Obama. now one of the closest advisor to the Clintons, James Carville went on TV today saying that it's ironic that this man did it on the time of the anniversary of the betrayal of Judas of our Lord Jesus. with a mere 30 coins of silver he sold Jesus. this paved the way to his death on the cross. so folks beware of people... acquaintances, friends and even sometimes close relatives. for they might be Judases waiting to become, you will never know and then it might be too late for you to realize it. as i have said he could have kept quiet and stayed neutral instead, a much more acceptable route, a better alternative. i think so. what a sad story. not a good one for a morning glory. gosh!

the sound of spinning wheels

clean the bicycles
again for it's time
rotate the wheels
pump it up
check the
brake pedals
and the hand
grips as well

i can hear the birds
chirping, humming
their lullabies
i can see the red
cardinal above
with its color
so different
so distinctly bright

spring has sprung
the bikes will be
at work again
the spinning
wheels sounding
like a whirl
of a cotton
candy ready
to melt in
your mouth

sights and sounds
of spinning wheels
of cotton candies
caught in
your mind
ready to spin you
round and round
without rest
until the end
until the wheel
until your mind
stops...

Spring Souvenirs

Birds chirping on leafless trees
Awaiting a warmer weather maybe
Tiny buds of flowers opening up
Shoots of soft silken leaves sprouting out

Green grass starts to brighten the lawn
Yellow dandelion flowers in full bloom
Sprinkles of rain gracing the earth from the sky
With an occasional colorful rainbow streaking by

Tornadoes, thunder, wind and hail
Sunshine, glowing brightly at times prevails
Bees, butterflies, grasshoppers and frogs
Leaping, buzzing or flying up above

Tantalizing tulips in purples and pinks
Reign in my garden come early spring
Daffodils, red buds and money trees
Scents of powdery perfume fill the air

Spring is golden like heaven above
Where color is everywhere that you look up
Joy and happiness it brings to the heart
Can never be bought with any amount of cash
...

my very elementary poem about spring last year, laughs. oh well. but the sad part is, there is still snow on the ground. spring is playing a trick, I suppose. now you see it, now you don't, like that beautiful painting of Mr. Torres :)

painted illusion

ILLUSIONS as in imaginary images make the mind to be lost in thought, like a mirage, sort of. Now we see it but then we don't. This tune, titled "Illusion" is a sad reminder of that. Like life, we are here today but eventually we won't. To jot down a journal of a world of my own, as well as of others if necessary, as I see it happens and unfolds, in that window of a small space where I'm just a simple speck of dust or a tiny grain of sand in that sunny beach by any one's land. Nevertheless, a blog created as a footprint and as a mark somewhat to memories made on this earth by one nobody at that time...All of which will mostly evolve to my real given name's meaning...of to help and of a happy creature and rich at that, but never mind the last, for that's not right...with that here I am, hopefully it will last and last, if not forever then the longest...so welcome to me as I say hello to cyberspace typing away of thoughts, tidbits at that...
***
my first ever blog entry :) time ticked away so fast. I finally came across with a painting that illustrates an illusion, like the deception in magic. "now you see, now you don't" the title. a trickery for the imagination. different from a write up that you have lots of interpretation depending on how many readers there are and it's only the source or the author who knows the right answer. just similar to a mirage, now you see it, then you don't as you look closer. but at least we are aware that it's only make believe. like magic that is far from reality...the trick is hidden, like in the mechanics involved in the cutting of a human body into two parts. entertaining, yup, for a time. until you get tired of it...for you don't want to be tricked for more than a couple of times for the fun will be gone by then :)
***
the art is by Mr. J. Torres...thanks to you :)

let magic play its trick

the actresses had
thrown their lines
at the last part
of the play
as the curtain
on the stage
begins to fall
ever so gently
ever so slowly

the audience
all mesmerized
and teary eyed
giving thunderous
applause as the
players bow out
one by one
in front of us

the play has to end
like magic in the air
like illusions
and make believes
ever so unreal
but think about
the laughter
and look at all
that smiles
from young children
and from all of us
young once

magic and illusions
make the mind
to be mesmerized
false or make believes
it won't matter
for a smile
still comes out
every single show
every single case
every single time...

taking a closer look...

...at friends and foes. Bill Richardson, the present governor of New Mexico and one of the presidential aspirants who lost, where Hillary and Obama were the only two remaining now, he, Bill Richardson who had close ties with the Clintons then. his career was opened up by the former president then and now he had the nerve or the gall to endorse Barack Obama today. this man had favors received from the Clintons like positions in government where he himself had prospered and had been known in the country and all over the world bec. of it. Sec. of Energy and Ambassador to the U.N. and now this. A stab behind the back to his former boss by not endorsing his wife, see even you do favors to people never expect anything in return for you will be disappointed. He said Obama will be a trail blazer sort of like that, i just made it better sounding but Hillary will be that too. The first woman president. If Obama will win the democratic nomination and then the U.S. presidency, hello middle east you won too. He after all was against the war in Iraq, he did not vote for it. Bec. maybe his dad was a Muslim and he has affinity to his Muslim brothers out there. But that is only my humble opinion. I did not say it is wrong, but whom do you favor when push comes to shove, your place of birth? your countrymen? or the enemy? and his vote clearly is a tell tale sign of which sides he is taking. and this is only the beginning? I hope not but the sign is out. If you are push to a tight space or spot the inner you will come out like Obama did and some other people that i knew of and maybe you or me too. The truth will come out with what we do in any form or in any shape. I hope I'm wrong but am I? that is the question. Ladies and gents we don't even have to ask the question for the answer is blaring out loudly in our ears and spelled precisely right infront of our eyes to see. that only the dumb and only the ones that are in denial refuse to see. accept or acknowledge it for i'm sure i got this one right, laughs. oh well. it's hard to swallow, yup, but we need to face the music sometimes and this is the time. so go...vote for Hillary :>
***
and yes, there are people out there that do not know how to say thank you to favors done to them, not that you expect them to but as an act of courtesy. but here he is, Bill Richardson even went on stage endorsing the other side who just inspired him bec. of his inspiring speech about race that touched him to the bones, laughs. well, looking at him i see a traitor with a beard. he could have kept silent and never favored anyone but to bite the hands of those that feed you i think is just unacceptable here. no go, no nod for me. a thumbs down for him, sorry. i admire loyalty and i am for loyal people. true that they say that you can barely count with your hands your true friends. you are very lucky indeed if you have one who will be there for you in time of need and he didn't rose up to this occasion. instead he jumped loyalties. what a man, indeed! no wonder he was a loser in the presidential race. he does not have that loyalty needed to be a good president and God knows it. undeserving as i see it, sorry, again. but it's very true. will you do that to people that opened up the doors for you? i meant who gave him these positions. his answer was he served the American people well. but who put you there in the first place? one good example of walang utang na loob here and yes folks they are well and alive here in the U.S. as well...
***
yeah, some nasty stuffs might have happened in between but to endorse the opponent of your benefactor in life is beyond my comprehension. it's just not the thing that good hearted people will do. so on second look he did himself a disfavor here in the eyes of inquiring people like me. hope we're not a lot. but that is just a mere drop in the bucket. for what will God think of him? that is the question...and yes he served well but he needed to be put in those positions first to be able to serve. i don't think he got that part or understands it, for if he did he won't be in front of that mike and glaring cameras beside the other camp saying to the whole world that he is a better candidate than Hillary. what a show indeed, one that is not nice to watch in my point of view. but i support Hillary so you can say I'm biased but i think I'm right though bec. he showed that he is one of those that Bill Clinton should not given these cabinet positions in the first place. will you if you are in his shoes? now that he knew that he can't be relied upon to stick with you comes thick and thin. the former president must be shaking his head at this moment. but that's reality. we meet these kinds sometime in our lifetime as well. my dad did and i clearly remember that and him. it does not bring good feelings and good memories. it's simply just sad...

Readings for Lent...the Old Rugged Cross

the painting of the Crucifixion of Christ, on this link...pls. click if you wish to see...and ladies and gents, Jesus was betrayed by Judas and denied by one of his apostles three times, so let's be prepared to suffer such indignation at some point in our lives although in Jesus' case it was meant to happen in God's plan. but yes, carry that cross as Jesus did. our share and our show of love for him and in thanksgiving for His suffering and death on that cross, just to save us from our sins...

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.katapi.org.uk/images/Art/Crucifixion-Mantegna.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.katapi.org.uk/Art/Crucifixion.htm&h=1182&w=1600&sz=934&hl=en&start=16&tbnid=dCwEOr471MUb6M:&tbnh=111&tbnw=150&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dcrucifixion%2Bpaintings%26gbv%3D2%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG

http://www.gracevalley.org/sermon_trans/Christ_Crucified.html

where did Jesus died? in a place called Calvary or Golgotha, where both means "skull"... so we must not take a skull ever so lightly. it is a symbol after all, and a stark reminder of God's love and sacrifice for us...it means death where ever you see it, then in Jesus' time or now...and we don't really know if tomorrow will be the beginning of us being one of these skulls. young or old, rich or poor, pretty or ugly, intelligent or dumb, we are all fair game..."death is like a thief in the night, it comes to rob us of our lives, sometime, somewhere, sooner or later" very true...
***
oh yeah, may i also add this: famous, semi or not, nobody or somebody, we will all bid our sad goodbyes. maybe tomorrow? or the next day? or the day after that and so on and on depending on the year count our name has. weirdly true...so what are we supposed to brag about? we are just merely dust or a scary skull waiting to become or waiting to happen in any given moment in time that we are not privy of, not unless you commit suicide. yes, dust that is being walked upon...by any body's shoes, yours or mine on that street corner somewhere in that hi-way or by-way of life, one busy morning or night...a skull that is just being cast aside as a fearful symbol is what will be just the remains of us...after our journey, after our time is over in this passing universe of life. our earthly existence is just a timed and a measured gift from God that will have to end sooner or later, us being in a happy state, mood or what have you. the sad truth of all of this or of all of that. but hey, we've lived, we've loved, we've tasted life. think about those that did not, those aborted kids by uncaring moms. we are still lucky that we had that chance :) to live in this wonderful planet with lots of flowers and waterfalls and fill in here...your favorite things :> so cheer up :)

the flower of Easter...

is the ever fragrant Easter Lily...HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! on Sunday...
***
the triumph over death by Jesus...the happiness after suffering...the rising from the dead. what is it really meant for us? in retrospect, it is the turning of a new leaf, the embrace of the truth and setting our sights to the future...that Jesus cares for us and to lead our lives in the likeness and imitation of his life, of his suffering...to carry our own cross after Him whatever form this maybe...and to do this humbly and wholeheartedly...no complaints whatsoever. looking at the cross should be enough of an incentive. Jesus suffered on it and so shall we...life is not a bed of roses after all...life is both suffering and sadness but it is rejoicing and happiness on some parts of it as well...so let's take up our own cross after Jesus, again without complaints but with resolve and respect and for our love of God...the ultimate good, the most powerful and invisible force of this universe...

yes, to memories :)

unforgettable memories...of painted tulips, two lips, two hearts and a waterfall. what could be better than that! although the powder puff is really my flower of memory since i was a very little kid. me, little me then looking up at these dainty pin like pinkish blooms like fireworks in the sky, better than tulips, laughs. and besides these flowers only comes for two weeks here during spring time and powder puffs stay around much much longer and i can have them in the Phil. too. tulips are just here in the U.S. i like tulips don't get me wrong, but not as much as i like the flower of happiness and of celebrations, my blog flower :) but again, really who cares. i know no one, laughs. the music is by Bon Jovi, i like the memory word part of this tune, that's all. and of course on how it is being sang. nice :) the images are from the www, btw. thanks to you all who unselfishly shares them with us. i love them, really :>

color me the sky

when dawn is breaking
as silently we sleep
the sky is changing
from dark black to
orange red

the fowls start
to drenched the air
with their sweet cuckoo
doodle doo
as the sun slowly rises
to wake up you

the sky is blue now
as the sun is above
reigning supremely
all over and on top

then comes glorious
sunset ever so real
as the sun comes down
over that distant bridge
the hills and the mountains
and the valleys in between
will be dark and gray
till the moon beam reigns

color me the sky anytime
light reddish or orange
when I'm young and alive
bluish purplish when
middle age arrives
and black and gray
when old age comes

the sky has the records
of the moments of my life
the sky is an audience
during my sad
and happy times...

more nursery blooms :)

Now you see, Now you don't...

this art's title...an illusion, a fantasy or a make believe similar to the next tune titled, "Illusion or Fantasy" it was my blog's first melody played btw. wonderfully interpreted by an unknown artist. just very humble of him or her not to take credit for such a very captivating piece superbly and intelligently interpreted. i think so :)
***
and thanks to Mr. J. Torres, I love your painting :) I'm reminded of how the divorce judge of Heather Mills and Beatle Sir Paul McCartney described her, living in a make believe world sort of, like a business partner to Sir Paul that's why her claim of 200 mil which was settled to 48 mil recently after all is said and done. yup, love is just an illusion here. sorry Sir Paul. doubly sad for he lost love? but i don't think it ever existed then in the first place and moolah. yeah, lots of it, just for a mere few years of marriage. i dunno, is it worth it? he must be regretting a lot now a days for trusting her not to sign that pre-nup. oh well. people change and love can be a fantasy or an illusion, very right and very true. this is an example of it. so beware you all esp. if you have that big bucks or dough, laughs. really, if you're that rich would you let your love sign one prior to walking that aisle? that is a very tricky question and very emotional as well. Donald Trump did it and Marla Maples only got 1 mil USD after she was caught making it out with her body guard in a closet. that's what i read somewhere, laughs. wow, what a dilemma to be in. you love your gal or guy, but how do you bring that up to the table? i know you don't love me for my money but pls. sign this anyway? laughs. oh well. a very tricky thing for you might hurt the feelings of the love of your life, laughs. but hey, if i was in these positions, I'll sign it for him and I'll let him sign it too, for me. if he won't then he does not love me, very obvious diba? he loves my money, laughs. well. I'm glad that i am not in this kind of predicament...for it will be a headache bringer for sure, laughs. oh well. and yeah better be armed for who knows your beloved will find somebody else in the future who will steal his or her heart from you. in this case let him or her go with some moolah too but not like what sir Paul have to dole out for this girl. i think this is just money grabbing, not right. a few millions is fine but that much? she does not deserve it. sorry but that's my opinion. love is not love if you're seeing the greens :)...and yup if one wants freedom from you, let him/her go. for you want your love to be happy. i know it hurts but love is not there any more so what's the use? you don't want to live in a make believe world or do you? okay, you might have some perfectly valid reasons which I'm not privy of but prepare to suffer then, laughs. oh well. i dunno. life and love is ever so complicated in this world. and a few living former presidents could surely attest to that reality...

million petals, million leaves

i needed flowers to console me for the government backed 30 billion? USD Bear Stearns' bail out. the elite is saved again by their cohorts of same kind who's in power and his name is called Bush. while 2 million homeowners here who are losing their homes due to foreclosures are set aside, ignored and left out. what kind of government is this. i know it's government of the worst kind who can't accept that this country is not only in recession but in dire depression. well, comes November i hope voters will wake up and realize this and give their votes to Hillary, for it's "the economy stupid" the reason or that popular slogan when the elder or dad Bush lost his bid for second term to Bill Clinton :) one can claim that reason again for the win and it will be lady Clinton's win this time :) I'm crossing my fingers to it. wake up America, it's time. I'm beginning to think that there are none thinking people out there...the signs are flashing brightly in front of our very eyes but still we can't see...talk about having eyes that can't see here. it's like a bird with big wings but can't fly. useless, gosh! sorry, but it's true...

The insides of a plant nursery...

with orchids, cacti and tulips just to start...and pls. click for bigger images...this if you want :)
