the truth will set us free

meandering in an endless rain forest
is a deer with soft antlers
all alone sniffing its path amongst
the dense and thick grass
it can't find its way for the trees
are just blocking the light

in the meantime a blind human
is feeling through the tracks of life
without sight his cane is only his guide
tapping, feeling, hearing then walking
gently and gingerly at the cemented
pavement that is harsh if his gait
will miss the mark

in another region of the earth
lived an honest woman
without a doubt she trust
and depend on the simple
notion that people are good
not stealers, not liers, not users
but dependable and right

on the contrary there is a
wolf that lived nearby
untamed, unloved, wild
it charged and charged
and aimed its teeth to
an unsuspecting prey as
it died and was eaten
as a game, alas

in life there are predators
as there are benefactors
there are users as there are saints
there are gamers as there are believers
so to get inside their minds is
to lay a trap, an unsuspecting trap
that they'll be caught and can not
deny for once, defeated in their game
the truth is here to be laid at last...

...for we really do not know the inner make up of other humans except ourselves...top art is from the www, artist unknown, thank you :)

"i did it my way"

if there is one song that could make me cry, this is it...JC and me went to the shopping mall today to pick up some stuffs and there was this musician singing this song at the sides for passersby with his music paraphernalia around him and a money box is in front to put some money for token of appreciation of his music and i put 10 bucks for i am poor, laughs. he did really justice to this song. my heart stopped and i paused and listened and truly i was teary eyed. yes! this is my all time favorite song in the world i told JC and i'm gonna blog about it :) in our life we do what we have to do in our own way and can you believe it for i won, although sadly it is not in the way that most people define winning, but in my book it had to be a win...my way...and yes, the final curtain did fell but instead of blocking the horizon it did the opposite for me :)

it's karaoke time...again just for fun why not :) it would really be better if i can record the whole song but blame it on this gizmo, laughs, for its recording power is very limited. and this is only for friends and kind folks okidok :>

If You Forget Me... by Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
near the fire
the impalpable ash
or the wrinkled body of the log,
everything carries me to you,
as if everything that exists,
aromas, light, metals,
were little boats
that sail
toward those isles of yours that wait for me.

Well, now,
if little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you little by little.

If suddenly
you forget me
do not look for me,
for I shall already have forgotten you.

If you think it long and mad,
the wind of banners
that passes through my life,
and you decide
to leave me at the shore
of the heart where I have roots,
remember
that on that day,
at that hour, I shall lift my arms
and my roots will set off
to seek another land.

But
if each day,
each hour,
you feel that you are destined for me
with implacable sweetness,
if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me,
ah my love, ah my own,
in me all that fire is repeated,
in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,
my love feeds on your love, beloved,
and as long as you live it will be in your arms
without leaving mine...

now this is really "the" poem :) ...no wonder, a Nobel Prize...ala pablo neruda, here's my take...yes, i am dreaming and pls. don't wake me up, laughs.

"valentine, here i am"

i want us to stop
and listen to the splashing waves for once
as we stroll on the shifting sands of time
the ticking hands of the clock
that never goes back
as it winds and leaves
it ticks like a beating heart
as lovers caress, hug and kiss
are we here now or just millions
and billions of sounds apart

we can not tell
the shadows are just shades
of black cocoons of hidden butterflies
that are just dormant, asleep
as silence prevailed each passing nights
in an unending dreamless universe
until dawn, until morning comes

we open our eyes
the beach is gone
covered by the rushing tide
the sands so white
is now nowhere to be found
as we held hands looking
at that empty space above
no sun, no moon, no stars
no birds, no kites
the sky is black
as we hear the wind
as it silently plays with the grass
as its blades rustle and dance
it is the only music that we have
the moving waves
the swaying grass
are just barely keeping us alive

and now the beach is gone
but only for awhile
only to come back again
same time, same place
somewhere
is this deserted land
that we found each other
as we repeat this sad story
of our lives over and over
until death do come to us

life after all ends
life after all yelds
life after all is just us
birds in search of paradise
that is nowhere to be found

for valentine is just a figment
of the mind
as love is like the sun
it is hot at noon
but it will be cold at dawn
as the sun will rise
the moon will sleep
and the stars will
have to wait
to show their traits
of twinkling forever in our midst...

as we each catch our valentines asleep...

happy love day you all... enjoy life, make it always a valentine's day :)

i will serve you...

let's all serve Jesus the best that we can for even in the smallest possible way it counts to Him...and in between let's recharge and my way of doing it is heading to the beach :)

i am a sucker for memories. i love going back in time. here is a similar scenario infront of our house. lots of snow here, so i am dreaming of patar beach again :) my favorite spot on earth :)

patar beach, the paradise on earth and i don't even have to ride a plane. just 45 minutes drive from our place in the province :)

love's ebbs and flows

the dawn
won't come again
for the flowers are
fading without the rain

the sun
won't shine no more
for the moon had taken
over the endless horizon

the stars
won't twinkle again
for their energy had fallen
into the roof of impending doom

the love
will end here
for the trust is broken
and it will have no cure

until a new root
of a new growth will
sprout once more in a garden
filled with sleeping, unendless hope :)

love that is given, is love that is returned. while love that is taken away is love that is missing and it might or might not be ever restored. painted pink hydrangeas, artist unknown, ems' art, loeniv afremov's art. some valentine's thoughts and observations :)...hydrangeas, the bloom of the haves featured in their million dollar homes. flowers shaped like a ball with so many tightly packed mini-cluster petals. nice but i am not rich that is the problem (^_*) so...look at those flowers left of my asiatic lilies' pic taken one glorious summer, those are called phlox, a hydrangea look alike and they are mine...needless to say i prefer that :>...click image for a bigger view :) the on going tune for valentine's day is "have you ever really loved a woman" by bryan adams...very cool, for this music separates the impostors, the players, the illusionists from the true and the sincere :) and they thought women could not add up, laughs. oh well...we only have one life and sometimes it is a struggle to fill it with love esp. if we are reminded of people that had done us wrong. but time is only wasted with hate, that is why there is the love month, laughs. but seriously it is so sad that life is not guaranteed to anyone like tomorrow. we are all at the mercy of God, rich or poor, ugly or beautiful, young or old. we are not the keeper of our lives and destinies for again we have an infinite power to allude to, to answer to and to ask for grace and blessings...the universe is vast and with it lies mysteries that is incomprehensible to the human mind...for the truth is we rely on those that came before us for wisdom but it is not really enough. at the end we can only understand so much. ergo life's origin is a mystery not unless we are a believer of God's magnificent power who created the universe but one can argue that we are not there then at that time, so who knows...again life is like that, so many questions but not enough answers. so many whys with so little because and all we know is that life will breath its last somehow, someday, somewhere, for sure. whether you are rich, poor, young or old, no discrimination...with this knowledge before us, will our perspective in living our lives will change somehow? that is the nagging question...and i bet you, nothing will ever change at all...(^&*)...but... if there will be...a nice start will be your soon to be muse or your present lovey dovey :) tell them they are the one :>
