goodbye ART

www.danielneish.com/goodbye.htm

goodbye really
means hello
to a better life
for you

goodbye means
peace to the
inner selves we
keep

goodbye means
life is done
that part
of life that's
scratched

goodbye is
the door we pass
to a life of
reality
not faux...

the dripping tears of a flower

in pink and bursting in tears? what a sad name for a flower, bleeding hearts...now, please don't make a flower cry :)

the red robin
not surprisingly
burst out a
sad tune today
the ink was spent
no poems
were written
even a diary

a picture of you
maybe kept dangling by
for all to cast the shadows
beyond a leafless branch

gone are the hopes
of one sunny sky
gone are the dreams
of a starry night

emotionally deprived
of a lullaby
emotionally dry
emotionally barren
as red blood kept
dropping down...

laughs, oh well. i am really weird. but really this is just an observation by me in the roads of sweet nothings in cyberspace :> well, so many hearts that you broke, so much milk that you spat, laughs, now maybe it's your turn to be the victim of your own hands? we'll see, sa susunod na kabanata, ...(^_~)...so stay tune pls. like sort of, i love you, genius, but you really never love me sort of a story for the proof is looking at you, laughs. now the emotion will run dry as the well will run out of water, laughs. i am really very very entertained. hands, eyes and ears in place, hope you are too :) pls. enjoy listening to kuh ledesma. really, no kidding this lady can sing like an angel and that's the truth. i love her voice, my music thirst is filled, laughs. i am bad i think for i find humor in dark despair, so pardon pls. and yeah, don't be bloody mad as well. it shouldn't for the truth should set us free and i believe in that. now maybe you can puke now in pink err in red blood, laughs. entertaining, i think so :) my next poem? string of words will be much more suitable for i knew that i am not a poet, laughs... maybe... titled "emotionless" how's that? :>

emotionless

the door opened
and you weren't there
the bus stopped
but no one
stepped down

up above was
an endless darkness
down below was
the deep abyss

in between was
sour nothings
vacuum filled
with just air :)

i know it's lame but I've got to practice. hmn, maybe a few words will do? laughs. now don't blow my candles err despise. at least i am trying even how difficult it is...now another take...bec. right now i have plenty of time to spare. okay, here goes...

emotionless

you played this
game before
now you are a pro

flowers adorned
my door
but void of smell
or two

don't bother now
the music is out
of tune

like your flowers
it doesn't entertained
no more

stop, you've used
us just to make
you smile and dance

stop, the clown
is here but
the trick is out
nothing is new
that the laughter
is just gone...

and another angle...

"the PIANO is silent now"

strange, the music
is heard no more
your hands are tired
and stiff, it hurts
can't play the usual
tune, your favorite
for the notes
the lyrics
forgotten
unmemorized
abandoned

somewhere a stranger
may play that tune again
somewhere a better hand
may play that music
for you once more
then
the melody might or
may linger for eternity
and
not only just for a single
happy day
but
in truth it's just a one
sad memorable unhappy day...

so how did i do? i know it's bad...but you'll just have to be content with that for it's the best that i can do, laughs...really in life, we think and interpret stuffs but we need to realize that if it is not said so that the umbrella is pink and you can't see it in pink per se, then your mind is just playing a trick on you, let's not get caught in that web of deceit or just someone else is trying to make you believe that it is pink but it is void of colors, in truth... now i am not kidding here. i am really serious, laughs. remember i have that esp, laughs. you can believe this or not but again you'll be better off if you do, laughs. so pls. the game is over :)

God's candle, the candle of good :)

a burning candle

a burning candle of love
is what Jesus had for us
a burning candle of light
is His gift for us
lighting our way
through out eternity
lighting our way
till death comes

putting a stop
to the joys
that we have
putting a stop
to the sorrows
and the loves
that we gave out

young or old
if your time comes
young or old
you'll just have
to bid your
last goodbye...

and no one can ever put out the candle of GOD :> even if you are the DEVIL, the howling, puking and spitting devil, laughs. let's ask one seeking inspiration artist somewhere, your genius :) and airesol which means the air and the sun won't ever dare to blow out the candle of good or eat it and spit it out for that matter, laughs, for that is so gross, a no no :)

it's almost time for the happiest month of year...last pic was lifted from philstar, thanks :)

roses, irises and lilies
dressed in colorful pinks
bright and full of life
delicate delights

stamens filled pollen
sticky, sweet and golden
honey coated spells
aphrodisiac sticks...

unmeasurable sorrow...

Quantum of Solace...the new James Bond flick. J.C. and i went to see this movie today. the beginning was filled with death defying full packed action and car chases that wows you to the max. shot in Italy on a tiny squeezed dirt road and this reminds me of Baguio without the vegetation. i was turned off going to this summer capital of the Phil. bec. of the ride. my only consolation was the visit to that pink church cathedral. even up there on the mountains was hot, population explosion, yes, a lot of students from our neighbor Asian countries called it their temporary home. it is not really that bad but what if... is all i can think of then as Paul skillfully navigates the rugged twisted or zigzag roads, his very own turf for he'd been this way a lot of times before driving his priest employer before my brother. yes, he was a very excellent driver, laughs. i won't even dare to drive in this kind of environment. i am not too savvy, laughs, and one turn might be the wrong turn and down the cliff we go, laughs and that's the big if that i dreaded but Paul and even my brother are pros. Filipino drivers are the best around the world i think. with just a hairline of space separating one car from another i was amazed that there weren't tons of accidents so that speaks volume. i need a lot of practice i would say before i venture myself in the city. my brother do not trust me with his automobiles. why i want to drive a limo then, laughs. but in the province that is another story. there i can of course, laughs. but going back to the movie...really to make it short i forgot how good it was at the beginning bec. of its lackluster ending, the big true disappointment. it is done now? but where is the big bang at the end? yes, the beach view was great, the fights that is just too much and never ending is mind boggling. how did they shot that? okay, it started with a bang but ended in a whimper...it killed the good things at the earlier part of the movie. see, what will you remember most is the ending but this movie failed to make it a memorable one, sad. although Craig did well playing the part. the ladies though is, it could be better :) and yes, if you were betrayed by the one you loved bec. she was black mailed? would you want to know why? and who was behind it? unmeasurable sorrow and despair indeed and a very close up and personal matter for agent 007...love and betrayal, ouch, that is the hurt that is hard to go away...but who could be trusted in this life anyway, tell me :) i don't even think that i was trusted then. this one instance that i remembered. people ordered some stuffs from here just to make sure that they'll have proof where i am coming from, laughs. but really even if you don't care...i don't lie and i value trust more than money or diamonds. integrity, honesty and the truth are very important to me. if you don't have these be very careful for i can sense it even you're that far away, laughs. believe it or not but you'll be better off if you do and you are now forewarned, laughs. it's your life, your call, but my decision at the end :)
on how do we speak...I've been where i am for half of my entire life so I've gotten into their way of conversing in their own native tongues. i do understand the frustrations of people in my country of origin for if i read their way of writing it is quite different from what i am used to now. you won't know how one lives not unless you are living on the same roof and i am fully aware of that. this is just similar so to speak. it is just a matter of adjustment. i will meet you as you will meet me but pls. no bad words for it is not allowed :)

the Little Flower Church...a favorite video :)

this is St. Therese Chapel...the smaller section of the Shrine of the Little Flower Church that we always go and light a candle, visit and hear mass...aside from our own parish church here :)

elvis, i want him alive :)

the sky is full of clouds

the sun was hidden
behind thick clouds
the light is gone
the rays are cut

i opened the window
and gazed up above
a storm is brewing
as the wind starts to
hover around

a flash of lightning
lighted up the sky
electrifying, it freezed
and numbed the clouds

the thunder's so loud
my eardrum popped
a shout in my ear
that stunned my heart

the rain dropped and
dripped unrelenting
touching my hands
every seconds
every moments
the cold and icy
weather again
is at my back...

on the sunny side

the bottom art belongs to the master painter, Vincent van Gogh and the top is by J. Longacre, titled "sunny side" painted last April :) really, i do believe that most of us if not all would want a walk on the sunny side of life, always...and for more paintings that are eye catching, pls. click below :)

http://www.karemar.com/blog/top-ten-10-most-expensive-paintings-all-time-w-pics
http://perezart.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html

yes, to be on the sunny side of life is my goal everyday and i want that to anyone as well regardless of their own gender preferences. if two human beings of the same sex truly love each other and want marriage to solidify their commitment to each other, i will support them. i know that marriage since the very beginning of time is only for a man and a woman as practiced in our religion as well as of others but time has changed. romantic love is seen now a days not only between the opposite sex but of the same sex as well as there are gay couples who truly love each other as straight couples do. so let's be tolerant and respect one another. although i believe that never in my lifetime that this kind of union will be legalized for the majority of us still cling to tradition and vehemently oppose changes of any kind which is kinda sad. i hope that in the future their union will be recognized as traditional couples are and will be accepted and will be allowed to enter the sacrament of matrimony as well, although the hope is fairly dim as of date...

"on the sunny side of the street"

by Vincent van Gogh...uplifting work of art and a favorite song as well, courtesy of Bob Barker :)

lost in the shadows
of a silent world
lost in the thick
deep dark creases
roaming
endlessly
in circles
winding
tired and beaten
ending
on the same path
only to begin
to find your
way out
all over and over
again
it never ends...

it'll be a breeze of relief to find that sunny side of the street again :)

why did Obama ended up in the sun and McCain in the rain?

1. age did matter? not sharing your wealth definitely did :)
2. experience did not matter
3. color blindness existed
4. the young are responsible now
5. more houses and cars did count but not on the plus side
6. the population had gotten smarter or woke up if you want a metaphor :)
7. the urge to cut the bushes to be able for the light to come through was really done for real
8. Obama's O is a circle like the sun and McCain rhymed with rain, so that did it :>
9. it's a struggle to be a hero twice
10. Pal-in meant the opposite which is out and Biden is not bye then, i was wrong. sorry, hope i made you smile in spite of the errors :) and please don't start to play a game like this, it is really boring, no pun intended.

happiness' art

and the color pink dominates. pink is love, love is Jesus, Jesus is happiness, happiness is pink for happiness is love. don't ever confuse yourself with that, laughs. now what is really happiness to a person ? when all their dreams, wants and desires come true? when they are not tied to the daily grind of life. when you can do and go as you please without barrier such as family and financial concerns. more money more problems they say but that would never apply to me :) so really what is joy? i know that is one of the meaning of my name and one is wealth. but really who came up with such nice meaning of our given names for I'm highly suspicious of how true they are, laughs. happiness for me is when one is free of worries and concerns and can go anywhere as they please, do as they please or act as they please. stay in a beach and dance all night without being bound by time constraints, go on vacation until you've realized you're tired of vacationing, live in a forest with its wild garden until you decided it's time to come out, paddle in a river and watch all the fish swim or listen to melodies that make your head spin. with these I've concluded that happiness is having the freedom to do as we please either by ourselves or with the people that we love and who loves us in return :)

President Barack Obama...

the once in a lifetime experience, an inspiration to look up to, against all odds, he had prevailed...i'm happy for my second country. it could only get better bec. of him from now on :) hopes of more jobs to be created here so that the economy will get going back on the right track again...now there is light glimmering at the end of the tunnel, finally :) not just an illusion or a dream but truly a reality that you can hold on and feel...happiness is here at last :>

why Obama won...he will "spread the wealth" according to John McCain. i thought when he mentioned that at the end of his rallies, that stamped him as a loser. to Obama it means sharing the wealth to the less fortunate and that is more like it where the crown will be won and it did :)
second the Bush economics did it. more tax cuts, or tax breaks for the rich just like him and ignoring the poor and the middle class by shipping jobs out of the country for more profit to their pockets. many said that he stole the election from Al Gore then by winning Florida where the governor was his brother then but look at the result. he is now the president known to have the lowest approval rating leaving office ever that the Republicans running for re-election dare not have him at their sides, a negative. and the country is in dire situation having the worst economic situation ever since the depression. Green Span said he never anticipated this to happen. no one saw the warning signs but i think it was just ignored until it could no longer be set aside. mortgage banks are failing due to foreclosures. people out of job can't simply keep their homes, pure and simple. no jobs, no salary and no money to spend which triggers the economy to move in the right direction. Obama understands this so i have high hopes now that the future of this country is going to be bright :)

moving on :?

art is by Picasso...for us, December means sadness for my dad died on this month...the skull of sadness, "death's head" aptly this art's title...the birth of Jesus and the death of my dad all in one month...

art is by Vincent van Gogh ..."a walk on the sunny side" :)

the world as we turn our back

counting days of spring
that sprung
memories of greens
that's gone

summer wind so warm
flower filled days
perfume filled air
friendly butterflies abound

fall with the downing
of the golden leaves
autumn with its wind so crisp
branches starting to shed
lifeless, bare, so quiet

wintry weather so cold
white ice covered roads
body numb and lost
time to get down and fold
time to get going
time to get some rest
time to flip the page
time to bid farewell

hope we all meet again
same time same place next year
if the future permits
if the closed door opens...

the ending of a long journey in life, although to die at 60 like my dad did is very young for lots of people live to their 80's, 90's and 100's. the good looking madam Imelda is hovering at 80, Aimee her daughter is my age, laughs. you will never know, we will never know how much God has in store for us in years. let's live our lives with decency, honesty, without pretense and without illusions. let's live it as we dreamt it to be :) like a walk in a pathway covered with red berries as the sun shines at your back lighting your way :> my kind of road :)

a walk by the beach

silently as your steps
begun to flee
quietly as your arms
begun to sway

the warm sea breeze
the hot sea sand
the stillness that surrounds
it engulfs you
as you notice the solace
the only company
that you have

looking at the endless
deep blue sea below
gazing at the endless
deep blue sky above
measuring the distance between
you and your love ones
it's that far

can a ship so slow welcomes you
can a plane above takes you
to your destination of nowhere
far in space without a plan
without a ticket
without a limit
at your hands

life is a travel that either we wanted or not
life is an experience that we like or not
life is a choice that we make
life is a gift that we need to cherish
whether it's lonesome or full of happiness
as life is simply a walk in a beach

you feel the heat as you feel the breeze
as you walk and savor the softness of the sand
as you stop and listen
to the gently rolling waves by your side
as you stop and think
as you take your time
to reminisce the back pages of your life...

painting above is done by artist Z. Igor, thank you :)

colorful rainbow on my mind

come let's go
and play with
the sun
the only thing is
it's hot and it
might burn
our hands

come let's play
with the stars
the only thing is
their twinkle
might turn
our eyes blind

how about the clouds, we can hide
how about the wind that we can ride
how about the moon that smiles at us
or the ocean with its
warm water that can splash

or would you rather walk
barefoot on a beach
and pick up sea shells
as souvenirs instead
or would you rather
get dirty and dig
mother earth
to create a garden
to your heart's content

although did you
ever watch a rainbow
with its colors so true
plus that pot of gold
that's perfect for you
think of jewels and jars
of perfumes
think of mansions and maids
of your own

colorful rainbows are rare
like magic sometimes it's there
but the truth is it's bare
like a rainbow
the colors will eventually fade
like magic
the illusions will eventually leave
like a dream
you'll wake up to reality
that is not truly there...

but magical rainbows i thank you just the same
for you did brought a smile to me
to us although without permanence
just like love it can end
just like life it can soon disappear

although love will blossom again sometime
although life will be seen again in the birth
of a child
as days pass by
as time goes by...

now I'm really getting annoyed for itunes had put a stop for the music that i bought from them to be put in my blog due to copy right issues? they want people who listens to it to buy it themselves too i think, not being distributed or listened to in the www for free i supposed and I'm not happy, what can you expect. that is a very brilliant idea from them isn't it?

autumn leaves, fallen leaves

yes, even leaves have to say their goodbyes but in such powerful and colorful splendor. it has to end so we can have spring, summer and winter. four seasons four shows. four spectacle of nature. we can't have one without the others, here in my place at least...i miss it when i am not here but i just don't like the coldness after fall...

what is love...

i am as empty
as a vacuum
and your words
had filled me up

i was lost in a
thick damp forest
you came you searched
for me all day all night

i was despised
and vilified
your arms
had enveloped
my arms

i was not singing
a happy tune
your voice starts
to sing a lullaby

i was drowning
in a river
you swam and
saved my life

you are a singer
you are a poet
a swimmer
and a savior
or a painter
that never
ever puts
me down

you colored my life
with pink roses
not dim nor dark despair
you sing to me
sweet enchanting music
not goth like creepy tunes
of after life nor hell

love is eternal
love is pure and true
love is suffering
and is a sacrifice for you

love is understanding
finding no fault or two
love is forever, like God
He is always there for you...

lost ribbons

lost ribbons

neatly tucked away somewhere
probably
or loosely packed under shirts
maybe
or tightly caught in between
dirty laundry

now where could those lost ribbons be...tell me...

in the highway of life
we must be alert to these:
there are people who squeeze you
so hard like a singing doll
until your voice is gone

the dent in your arms
the bruises that never heals
colored purple
the color of blood that died
the color pink
the color of love that died
pink, purple now dead
death, lifeless and breathless
cold and black

you woke up one day
she's gone
you woke up without
the usual hi, hello
how did your day go

time did ran a marathon
the days did a flip in my plate
in your plate, unseen, uncounted
unimportant until you noticed
the days grew longer without the song
the days grew longer without
that pink flower
because the color
behind your smile is gone
the color behind your life
your laughter is gone
the important had slipped
and death is all
that you can see
in your eyes

the sun, the moon, the stars
forgot to shine...

hmn, a sad poem but we can't be happy all the time and that is a sad fact of life :)

Juan Luna's... the Roman Maidens, ready for auction at the end of the month for a million dollar or more? click to enlarge, a fascinating painting, more so if you see the detailed depiction of its subject...wow :) his hands can replace a camera for this art is like a picture taken with a film...
