winter showed up, 2-22-'10...

my boots can't even walk. this pile of snow is drowning my leather boots. white as paper thin slicing the air as they drift and drift slowly at my eyes. my nose is not immune. i smelled and felt its bland and icy touch. i winched and sniffed and blew. i just can't hide from its freezing grasp. this cell of soft and flaky dead cold ice. it does imprison the heart until it can't pump any more blood as you are in for a shock...

i see uncleaned paint residue in these windows, a summer time job to come :)

to all tiger's girls :>

one spanish crooner...

magical perfection in art :)

the painter of light, Thomas Kinkade...winter, spring, summer and autumn...picture perfect, like a camera lens that capture images in their closest likeness :) can someone copy or imitate his paintings, i doubt it. because this man has true talent, not just like the art of a child. his is mature art so to speak :) i judge painters on how their works match reality...the rest are mere illusions of their minds because they can never replicate a true face, a true emotion in a face, so they have to do their own pathetic imitation of it, like a sideline in the garbage art? no? laughs. we call it a mistress art, not the true Mrs. because it's the fake. see i am so brutal, laughs. if any child can do your art don't call it art, call it a scratch art and put it in your scrapbook. ouch! i can even copy your so called art and do a better job, laughs. okay that art, laughs. maybe you have a better one coming so I'll wait for that. but i think ain't worth your art to be shown, laughs. sorry. i am not a bitch to make that clear, but just telling you my own take. i know just ignore it. but if you'll win an award for it, let's wait, then i am wrong, so congrats? but that is too early. let's see until you have that accolade in your bag. good luck...(^_~)...and work on it more, make it happy and positive for a happy ending, just a tip :) and get some talented art critics not just your lovey dovey for we know that he'll be biased, to judge your art :) but...i gave you a b like the word bitch for trying and for your effort, laughs. sorry, but just disregard and ignore if you can't take it, laughs. oh well...i knew you judged the art of a poet artist then placing some unkind comment, now it's your turn. sad to say, i think her art is better than yours, but why only one from you? you need to make more, laughs. okay, i will say my true take here. the beauty of an art is in the eyes of the beholder...they make rules and if you pass you are in. if not then you have to try harder again and again if you want to be recognized and to be a part of their league. in this world it is about being a part of the whole universe. you need to dance with the tune for if not then you are just there to be pitied doing mambo while the music on air is tango...hope you understand :)

and yes, as this beautiful melody said...moving on to a better art, we must :) and while you create your future masterpieces this if you are really a true artist not those that are just feeling like one ha, laughs, visit the USA. learn from the country whose artists give justice to the word art, no kidding...

moving on...

vincent van gogh...let's keep the past behind us tiger woods might be saying with all of his sex capades. it's hard but it must be done. no sweat, no glory...in climbing a mountain, one should be well focused and deadly determined...you can do it :) the thrill must be suffocating to this man for it nearly killed him. remember that thanksgiving car crash. second chances, yes, but only to the deserving :) for when trust is lost, it will take sometimes a lifetime to gain it back and maybe never too. again, action speaks louder than words...it's been that way and it will always be...

solitude...patar beach in 3 different years...

i look forward to lazy days
just sitting on a beach
i look forward to those white
sands so fine and so divine
i look forward to driving far
and out in the country side
where green grass
green trees and soft
dreamy breezes
are all mixed up

i want to be hypnotized
by the pure and quiet times
i want myself to be mugged
by the tranquility of the night
i want my tired body to rest
and to rejuvenate and be calm
for i am tired fighting
and figuring how come
life is gone so fast...

solitude is best served during lent... i want it :) but just for awhile for i need my family in my world :>

the tiger talks finally...

we are just humans. sometimes we fail amidst our triumphs. we apologize and make amends to our dear love ones. it should be that way. the tiger did it. let's move on. the future will tell if his apology will match his actions...for actions speak louder than words...

klimt, van gogh & davis :)

floral garden, starry night, florida sunset...

garden's glory...

floral art, kit mahoney...

embrace life, always wear your seat belt...

in slow motion but the impact into the mind is enormous...the late lino brocka might have been alive today if...and even princess diana...

the time limit of life and illusion

now you see it, now you don't...thanks for your art Mr. Torres :)

where did it go
the wind that flew
behind the dark window
where did it go
i can't feel the sway
of the curtain
in my view

it could be that the
the wind was cold
and heavy as it moved
it could be that the air
was caught in a bottle
of beer bought and
thrown below

the wind went slower
and slower as the sun's
rays hid behind the
thick mountains
the wind was lost
as life is clinging
on the last breath
of fresh air

the wind is gone
so life is gone
its twin...

only though the air is not an illusion for it's real. as life is never an illusion for it's true. but only life will vanish at the end. while the wind will remain forever after we leave this earth...that is what the Lenten season meant. we all die as Jesus did on that cross in Calvary on Good Friday to save this sinful world...

getting in touch with great stamps of nature...

i love these U.S. postal stamps. the way the artist captures the great American landscape and its inhabitants be on land, on air and in water is just amazing to me. beautiful works of art from the hands and the minds of very talented people :) they are all exceptionally pretty!

the colors of my world

this bundle of crayons in my hand
i shuffled it while blindfolded
and picked them one by one
brown came for dawn
without the light of the moon
the sky is silent
but the stars shone

i rolled the crayons again
blue came gently with ease
it is morning glory
galore once more
the sky opened up
with hope and joy

it's middle of the day
my garden is filled
with the buzz of the bees
my blooms are in their peak
yellow marigolds, cosmoses in pinks
red clematises and one purple rose

then comes glorious sunset
with the horizon ready to rest
the birds are on their nests
calling it a day as myself

it's dark the night is silent
it's black the sky is at rest
only the sounds of planes
and their flickering tails
are there to decorate my world

but my world moves and rotates
i'm sure the light is always there
only a few hours of sleep
the sun will reign
and shine again
as always

my world is pink
my world is pleased
my plans are met
the grass is green
myself can silently
take a nap and rest...

these images are from the www... thanks loads to you if you are the owner :) they are lovely, truly!

a bag of tools...by r. sharpe

Isn't it strange
That princes and kings,
And clowns that caper
In sawdust rings,
And common people
Like you and me
Are builders for eternity?

Each is given a bag of tools,
A shapeless mass,
A book of rules;
And each must make---
Ere life is flown---
A stumbling block
Or a steppingstone.

Here's to building steppingstones...

thanks dear artist for your magical art :) a sunrise rooster, pink water lilies, a red robin and reflections of spring...beautiful art :>

how you like me now? the heavy

okay, let's change the phase of music here for it's about time. let's make it heavier, faster and hotter!
***
and yup, that beautiful sunset amorsolo painting that I'd like to own is a whopping 45,000 USD bomb. a shocker! i thought it was just about 5-10,000 USD worth. but yes, with that price you can buy your American dream home here. not with too many frills but it is a house and a lot. that got me thinking big time, laughs. i love his art but with that kind of moolah, i dunno. it's not worth it, laughs. i am direct and don't go the zigzag way. that's just me. i tell you even if it hurts. and most importantly i don't go for mere illusions or fakes. i go for kindness, compassion and love which most of us does...no different from most Christians and law abiding citizens, really.

do love bring out the best in people?

love as i observed do not do that necessarily, sadly. it will cause for one's inner personality to be out in the open and their true inner make up or dark color to be revealed into the world. their bad mouthing and calling other people names which in hindsight is what describes themselves in truth.that bad word that they let out. this is another take of one person, one mom and a nobody, laughs. again you can't imprison love. let it go and if it's yours it was really yours. you did that already and you had him and you're the winner, right? so that should be more than enough, laughs. i wonder why people or muses felt so inadequate. their princes had broadcasted into the world already that their greatest fear is to lose them, then that should be enough, laughs. oh well. love makes one person loses it i guess. but you know the solution to your problem is get hitched or get married na. there you should never worry about jealousies that will just make people judge you as uneducated, inadequate and unintelligent person which is kinda sad. glad that your lovey dovey loved you truly. again another classic example of love is blind. but hope everything works out for you both :) let's hope and pray for that. we wish you luck for we are not the one that you are describing us to be...you are the one who is that, really. hope you change and you'll be kinder and nicer to people in every kind, poor, maids or rich. i remembered that you were very unkind to maids who are doing the work for you, an adult who could very well take care of themselves, like sort of biting the hands of those that feed you. but again you never understood that...you put down people instead. no outreached of love to the lowly and deprived. what a pity really. you are judged on how you treat people esp. those that can't give you back any favors, just a gentle reminder. beauty fades but character lingers. be nice and then success will come to you and your lovey dovey and start now. remember that saying? better late than never :) plus that bad word that you call other people with, its first letter is the start of your name, so fill in the blanks, hint? b is the bad b, or bbb. oh well. sorry, just turning the tables on you here, another metaphor, mind you, you're good at that. i know you won't miss it :)

so success in our endeavours will come only if we are good and nice. give love not hate, the bottom line...

For JESUS

the passion wrapped around lent

it can't be ignored and vanished...and you can't wear a smile thinking about that time when they killed your saviour..."pescadores de hombres" fishers of men, that should be Jesus and His apostles :)

during this lenten season we are reminded that we won't live forever. that at anytime, at any age, death may come. but Jesus conquered death and was resurrected on Easter. the ultimate triumph over death. there is hope :> as long as we have faith in our God. we win with Him no matter what road block may come our way :) God is good never forget that...

LORD, WHEN YOU CAME TO THE SEASHORE / PESCADOR DES HOMBRES
by Cesareo Gabarain

1. Lord, when you came to the seashore you weren't seeking the wise or the wealthy, but only asking that I might follow.

REFRAIN (English): O Lord, in my eyes you were gazing, Kindly smiling, my name you were saying; All I treasured, I have left on the sand there; Close to you, I will find other seas.

REFRAIN (Spanish): Señor me has mirado a los ojos, sonriendo has dicho mi nombre, en la rena he dejado mi barca, junto a ti buscaré otro mar.

2. Lord, you knew what my boat carried: neither money nor weapons for fighting, but nets for fishing my daily labor. (REFRAIN)

3. Lord, have you need of my labor, hands for service, a heart made for loving, my arms for lifting the poor and broken? (REFRAIN)

4. Lord, send me where you would have me, to a village, or heart of the city; I will remember that you are with me. (REFRAIN)

the everlasting bloom

the everlasting flower, will it really last?

the smile of a flower

it comes on different colors, different shades
it blooms on different hours on different days
it takes so many shapes and sizes
roses, orchids and everlastings
flowers express the unsaid language
of the human heart and of the human spirit

it will droop as days go by
it will wilt as the moon beams dry
it will die as the sun sits down
but its perfume lingers every passing dawn
as its memories on the mind lives on

hail to the flowers of the earth
hail to the colorful smiles of mirth
you are God's sent healing whispers
you are God's language of love and happiness...

flowers are tokens of love and affection...flowers are expressions of thanks and remembrances :)

the flowers of lent :)

violets, fuchsias, purples or velvets...i love it :)
