doubt on the dollar, a dilemma...

the Chinese are getting scared about the value of the dollar for they have around almost a trillion worth of investment here. there is this push for a new global currency that will or hopefully will be recession proof. with the bailout being dangled around banks, the car industry, the insurance firms, the Chinese do not like it for they say that the worth of the dollar is being devalued in the process. president Barack Obama when asked lately in his most recent interview about the push by the Russians and now being second demotioned by China with regards to a rival currency...he said...that there is no need to fear. after all the United States has a very stable form of government compared to the rest of the world and the best place to invest is still here in the USA :) i agree. and to those countries that are losing their confidence, can't blame them. maybe it's time to pull out their money and to invest somewhere else.

"an economic pearl harbor" this is how Warren Buffet, the most liked and one of the richest men on earth had described what is happening here. true. with almost 10% unemployment and around more than 5 million Americans lining up for unemployment benefits, that says it all. most manufacturing companies shipped their businesses out for cheap labor elsewhere causing massive unemployment, now the law makers are beginning to realize the adverse effects of the shipping out of jobs. tent cities are cropping out for some Americans who lost their homes bec. they lost their jobs for their employers want cheap labor that they can get outside the U.S. now you can hear politicians here blaming it to mortgage companies. really? let's do a very simple math here, where i excelled in school, laughs. no jobs=no money for mortgage, it's not the bank's fault who hold these mortgages...it's your fault bec. you...the politicians allowed or made it easier for these manufacturing jobs to get out of the country by giving the owners tax breaks as incentives and that i don't understand. you pay companies to have their businesses go out of the country out sourcing jobs? what is the reasoning behind that and that is not math anymore. so yes, i failed for i did not get it, the true logic of this. all things here being sold in the stores are made in China. i can't even get anything as a pasalubong to my friends and relatives, things that are made here except for perfumes and cosmetics. so the reason for this economic meltdown here is...greed of the rich...for more profit...the end.

and i thought it is holy week this week, but not yet, so here i am blogging again, but who cares, i know no one does, laughs. oh well.

touchdown...to the game...

you've played with pen and throw them in the air. you've put together words that's so unreal... you've drawn and displayed different images that could steal a heart out there if they believed... the music is mesmerizing that it can capture a heart that is as soft as the sand. the melodies are dying to be heard but it contained no meaningful meat and without substance. it played and played until the vinyl is torn and tired. it can't be heard because it's silent and the music is being swallowed by the wind every time. you can't catch a fish without a bait. you can't go to the moon without a lunar capsule. you can't see the stars on a cloudy night. you can never see the sun shining brightly for the weather is hampering the view. maybe you'll just wait for tomorrow. this if the game is still on, this if the players are still willing to repeat this tiresome escapades...

some people like to play mind games for fun...it is not my forte though for it makes me sad...it needs to stop. thank you :)

coming soon...a garden in the white house :)

this pic isn't exactly as big or as lavish as a white house garden for sure but it is still a wondrous garden to me and i bet more so for the owner as well even how small it is :) finally there is an open gardener like me, laughs. i'm happy michelle obama will start a garden in the white house. can't wait to see what kind of vegetables or plants will be there and i am smiling big time at this moment :> gardens make me happy and they make my day sooo bright, although who cares? only me of course. after all this is my blog and i can write whatever i want, laughs. oh well. at least i have a venue to tell my story, the life of a nobody like me. yes, how true, except for my family of course. well, a blog is a very handy tool to keep up with your far away relatives. with just a few click of a mouse, my world, at least a part, laughs, will be there to be viewed by anybody. although i don't know why should someone would be interested in what i write here bec. it's all about nothing anyhow. yes, mind exercise, it is one good alibi to blog, laughs. but really blogging is like thinking out loud with your mind and your hands doing the works, the only thing is you won't get paid and you are not using anyone, you are using your own life story. this is how i do it at least, some entries here :) i am responding to things that i thought it needed to be answered to, laughs. but who cares really. I'm pretty sure no one out there. now it begs to answer the question of... is it a waste of time? it depends, it might or may not. but one thing for sure, it is one way to kill time, a good way or not, maybe not the best way for i would rather be gardening or traveling around the world or walking in a beach, IF i had the choice, sadly i don't...for now...i hope it will change, the sooner, the better :)

with a taxi at the sides...

leaving on a taxi
going to a job
being dropped house
to house in a cab

i stopped at your
doorsteps with a knock
your maid is here now
ready to clean and dust

although old and tired
shabby and sad
not dancing with joy
but still able to smile and laugh

sir, mam, I'm ready to serve you
with apron and the likes
please don't despise
my lowly work for
God made my life

i'm here to test you
on how good you are
i'm here at your house
to execute a plan

did you dance with joy
when I'm not around
did you see paradise
when i left and
close your house

but like security guards
we're not the devil in disguise
but like security guards
we protect, help and
make your life easy to live
and look like paradise :)

...what a string of words, but pls. pardon the pun. maids and dogs are friends of a kind. they serve their masters well, like a friend sort of...although dogs are not being treated lowly by the haves as I've noticed in my Internet travels...maids are put to the ground being stepped and treated like dirt. but really even your muse who is as pretty as Venus, laughs, you should measure their inner character on how they treat lowly people like security guards and servants :) after all the beauty inside is what matters most, this if you are not her kind...(^_~)...well said. now if you please...i need to ride a taxi and do my job apartment to apartment, old and tired i hope i will meet people who are kind and will have that genuine smile and care for the poor, the old and the tired human being which i am :) i hope any beautiful muse out there won't spat and put me down for really it is God that they're treating in kind if you look deeper and closer..."i was hungry and you gave me something to eat, i was thirsty and you gave me water to drink, i was a stranger and you invited me in" Matthew, 25:31-46...it's all about kindness and love and yes, it's true i am a lover of God and maids which i was once one :) thanks to a virgin lady incarnate, my life now is different, better, which i can only hope for the rest of our honest and hard working domestic helpers out there. now i wonder how does it feels when you are being served by your maid that you're despising at her back? will your prince that loves you will notice and love you more? i bet so, love after all is blind :>

"love does not hurt"...oprah...

love is never an illusion that is dangling at those clouds
love is never silence that meant no to the eyes
love is never a word that is woven in deceit
love is not music that is played only for just a game

love is not a play that young children play
love is not a painting that is out there for display
love is not a song whose lyrics are lame and lonely
love is not to be used for your job to earn money

love is always presence at your side
love is never hurting the one you love
love is saying hi when the going gets tough
love is a time for her or him even only for just
a little while

love is never silent for that's poison that meant goodbye
to the ears which says... i don't want you around...

love does not hurt, love should always be fun...(^_~)...

the music is titled..."To The Game, Touchdown"...by Andrea Guerra :> a beautiful music, i think so and there are no winners in love...not yet, not unless you both died at each other's arms at the END and you are still TOGETHER...for tomorrow is another day. love can be lost and love can change as love can be gained...so be careful guys on WHO you love, laughs. for it is truly a thorny road out there, believe me :)

thanks to you dear artist for your colorful art...i really love it :)

...and most of all...LOVE is GOD and LOVE is NEVER WORDS or LETTERS to HURT or to DEMEAN someone else, anyone, or the one that you truly love...God is always looking and reading our minds...let us all be aware of that...examples...pls. help others whose English are not as good as yours, laughs...be kind to maids bec. they are just the same human beings like you are even if it happened that you're richer and more educated for we all came from one father, God. and HE loves us ALL equally. i know you can't tolerate maids and those who do not speak the English language as good as you do, laughs...but what IF these maids, us, have the same education like you did, i wonder, hmn :) and yes, be kind to the OLD... for using age as a weapon only shows how short the reaches of our brains are for WE forgot that NO ONE can ever escape old age, including YOU, laughs. not unless you die at a very young age...it's just a NO BRAINER :) and TRUE BEAUTY is not on the OUTSIDE...it is always on the INSIDE :> and you MISSED that, laughs. but hey, birds of the same feather flock together and I'm sure we have our matches out there, laughs. those that hate maids and the lowly go together, i noticed that :) so good luck...(^_~)...and God bless, just the same :)

at the END..."WE ARE what our WORDS ARE"...maids, doctors, janitors, security guards, poets, singers, painters, lovers, writers, presidents or nurses...it does not matter...for our words are proofs of the inner workings of our minds...how very true :)

Hope we all have a blessed and a solemn Semana Santa celebrations...

GOD is GOOD and NO ONE can ever dispute that :)

turning tragedy into triumph...

you're gone and you've left me standing sad and all alone, your shadow and memories is all i have going on. the music played a lonely serenade killing what's left. the lyrics and the melodies kept piping those lullabies that i can't forget.

the love we had is like a cascading angry waterfall. it roared and fell then flooded all the gardens near. till nothing, nothing is left but only filth and muddy water without a life devoid of fish.

gone are the greens that makes a passing stranger blush and gush with delight. gone are the swimming life, the snails, the bees and the butterflies. now i am just looking at the dark and tinted water below my eyes. so sad and quiet for you are not around.

love is the way that it used to be, now it is sadness and bland, a dreary day. hoping that when the rain will come again. its water can turn the pond into a shimmering green. a flower, a lily to begin. with the color pink, love came back, let's begin again. for love after all did not left us it's forever here to remain...(^_~)...

for the loss is just a smoke it was never there :>

in silence we must love spring :)

same time same place
your flowers are soon here again
with mild weather all around
your leaves are starting to sprout
with little leaves peeping out
so fragile in our eyes

the squirrels are rounding up
full of energy, playful and
soon ready to dance
with the buzz of the bees
with the silent whirls of
the colorful butterflies

spring so fresh and new
spring a revival of the inner you
spring as silently as it came
will surely leave us tiptoeing
as summer nears
then goodbye as you close your eyes
to the renaissance that's
happening at your sides
where everything comes alive
for a moment and for awhile...

i love spring... number one for its flowers and number two bec. it meant renewal of the spirit and the rebirth of life...the kaleidoscopic colors of spring is captured by these peebles, very pretty :)

the darkest time, the light was out...

it's time...
the sky is dark the sun is gone
dark heavy clouds had come
as thunder rolled and lightning struck
the heavy rain kept pouring
and dripping the entire night

Jesus is dead, the deed is done
Jesus had suffered, expired and died...

silence airily permeates the mounts of Calvary
except for the burst of tears and agony from Mary
her son, the Holy one is lifeless
hanging on a wooden cross
His shoulders drooping with the weight
of our sins, our shameless faults
His head with blood induced by
the prick of the crown of thorns

now as we reflect on this coming Holy week
how can one suffer so much to save our sins
how can one whose heart is so big
had done this and sacrificed his life
so that you and i and all of us may live

the bright lights were turned on
the magic of the moment is here once more
as each year on this holy time
we remember...

that One lived
and One died
on that cross for us
that One cared
and loved us
so much...

as the end is in sight
the beginning of a brighter tomorrow
with Jesus comes
after His resurrection
the glow on that horizon is unsurpassed
for
He is the light, the truth and the way
and
He is the only One that can give us happiness
that unending joy and great glory :)

the art is titled...the Crucifixion by Mantegna...pls. click image to see the details of the painting. it's just amazing how sadness and suffering were captured so real and so vividly by the brush of this very talented artist. it's truly unforgettable...and very memorable...

thank you for dropping by :)

when most will come to pass...

the bells had toiled the end had come, the time is calling to put all things behind. no warning no sign, but that's death when it comes sometimes. it might be an accident that no one can foretell. it might be a lingering sickness that's forever here, eating your body away until it gives in.

the earth had suddenly stopped to turn for you. the sun in your eyes had stopped its forever glow. the stars and the planet are gone. your rhythmic breath is turning weak. it's goodbye, it's your permanent break. the time to take a bow for you is now.

life is just a sudden gust of the passing wind. life is like a meteor that's up but will be falling down. life is but a dream sometimes. so short, so sad, so quick and timed...
***
a sudden fall like what the late film actress Natasha Richardson (wife of Liam Neeson) had suffered is not unusual and closed head injury is very common in our everyday lives. but hers is those rare ones that can claim a life...i had a closed head injury one winter day when i was riding in a taxi at the back seat. the driver skidded and hit a lamp post and my head by gravity's sheer force hit the hard plastic divider between driver and passenger and i lost consciousness. i woke up in the emergency room of a hospital nearby with a fever, being given antibiotics and getting a head cat scan where it will show to the Md's if i suffered internal bleeding in my brain. luckily i did not, just a blunt trauma enough to knock me out. after 12 hrs. in the ER i was cleared to go home with a displaced front teeth to be fixed later, a stitched chin, 8-10 stitches and a big mass inside the roof of my inner mouth that i can barely be understood when i talk. i was off work for only a month, thank God for that... for it could really be worst like what this beautiful lady had in her fall...

emergency aid was dispatched to help her but the report showed that she refused to go to the hospital for she felt fine after the skiing lesson's fall. but we will know later that she had internal bleeding in her brain that formed into a clot that caused severe pressure inside her brain that a routine head cat scan could have detected and a very routine procedure of relieving that pressure by opening her skull and stopping the bleeding and taking out the clot could have saved her life. just so sad for she could have lived...this is the same thing that i fear for Michael during his seizure episodes...that he might hit his head for twice a month now he is seizing...i pray every day for his safety...for people can get hurt badly and the head is a very vulnerable part of our body. if a helmet was worn in this lady's skiing lesson that could have also protected her...but maybe it's her time to go at 45. so young, award winning, very talented, beautiful, but now gone...life lost, love lost for her family, just sad.

the making of a man...

it is not the mirages that were out there to capture you
it is not the sweet nothings that are out there that's untrue
it is not the music played but it's silent that you can't hear
it is not the beautifully braided alphabet of deceit that's inked

it is the presence of substance in every sentence that you've cast
it is the absence of shadow of doubt that you've seen in every act
it is the matching of the mind and of the words in every path
it is the light that comes when you are lost and needed a helping hand

it is the positive small things that you remember when you walk in that dirty and dusty road, it is the magic that you feel when you remember that someone out there had really cared for you, it is the ultimate rush that when you see the sky, it'll say, smile, it's true and it's not a lie, it is the happiness, the joy, that you've given that is coming back to you

a man is measured by the challenges that he faces in life
a man is measured by his honesty, integrity and his tongue
a man is measured by the way he turns tragedy into a comedy
a man is measured by his conscience which is God in every hearts
a man is measured on how he acts when no one else is looking around
but only him and God, the ultimate test of being just a mere human

give him money and opportunity
and let's see
will he use it for his own glory
or will he share it
and lift others on the way :)

music is a kind of escape...

the song that lied...

what a wonderful world
tell that to the stars
that cry at night
tell that to the moon
that was lost in the sky
tell that to the sun
with its weaning light
whisper it to the wind
and see it disappear
what a wonderful world
it's silent and
you can hear it wails

the jobs are gone
the motors stopped
the factories are rotting
above over grown grass

the doors are closed
the keys are locked
look around
everything
is filled with rust
move your eyes
up and down
everything
is filled with dust

all hopes hauled away
the dreams are gone
gone...astray...

the purple sun and a butterfly...

Go Fly

gather your strength
prep up your wings
learn how to fly
and capture the sky

then down to earth
smell the flowers
build a nest and
find your true mate

the days will come
nights will be done
would it be nice
to wake up at last
with a beautiful smile
that captures a heart

but life is full of ups and downs
hold your horses, never run
face the music
dance as you can
for who knows if tomorrow
will be waiting for you

life is fickle life is a flash
life is not forever
sometimes like love
life will be gone

so enjoy your days
your flying days
make life as memorable
as you please

so go fly my butterfly
capture the sky
but don't forget to rest
and while you're at it
look up and dance
enjoy the sun
the stars and the planets

while there is still time
while you still can :)

albert einstein...more than a genius...

just saw this today and it is just totally captivating, same as with the story of Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce...these men will just really blow your mind away, no kidding...exceptional men that will forever live in our memories and are permanent fixtures in our libraries and of history...

all we have is from God...

even without asking HE gives...He died for us... He is the last resort and the road to the solution of our problems in life, we should never forget that, for He is the way, the light and the truth and nothing else matters :)

we should be thankful for everything in our lives...including our maids, this if we are that lucky enough to have one or more :) i was one then but now i can have one or more myself although i prefer to take care of myself and my family with my own two hands during our vacations there. i got that here in the U.S. the american way. for almost all of us here in the U.S. even the rich do not have maids although they have nannies to take care of their children. they even prefer to drive themselves, ex. paris hilton, britney spears, lindsay lohan, so they are caught with DUI's with that influence of alcohol and drugs. that's how the world will know, for people here i think prefer to be independent if they could help it.

the most important revelation of who we truly are is to be able to say our appreciation to the things that people do for us, either with their advice even if we did not ask for it :) the measure of what we are as a human being is to be able to respond to people who give something and make a difference in our lives and to be able to treat others as we would like to be treated if we are the maids or the poor ones for lucky us if we are better of but God gave that to us, let's not forget that :) life is not forever, even riches, it can disappear just like that. the U.S. economy is one example. if the U.S. sneezes the whole world catches pneumonia, i heard that somewhere. but Warren Buffet the 78 y/o billionaire next door, one of the richest man on earth as he was called is very optimistic. in 2010, the U.S. economy will be in the path to economic recovery with all the measures that the Obama administration is putting in place right now. we are experiencing the greatest economic meltdown in almost 100 years, but Mr. Buffet said, we have somebody who is in control, the right person to handle it and that is president Barack Obama. by then the respect and the love of the people around the world that was lost will come back again, let's hope :) and money do not make a person, it is his or her character. although it is not relevant to the topic, just one nice thing to remind me of, always, and Mr. Buffet had it both. that's why he is sooo well respected and loved here in the U.S. including our president. there are people that shines in our minds...yes, there are still good people out there and i would think a number of them or a lot :) i have met one such extra ordinary one in my lifetime with God's grace. i can't say my thanks, enough, really...my mind would have been terribly wasted, one dire consequence if i had not...now my world is totally different...happy b-day senorita :) and thank you sooo much...

serenity is a beach & why do i blog...

still is the day with palms in upright without a sway, the waves are rolling gently without a splash as tiptoeing towards you silently, the blue ocean is vast and far as your eyes can ever see, not a single sound. still is the day, while peace is here as your mind and soul are in deep thoughts of how and why life is here for you. and you say enjoy the view while the white sand is there for you to see. a beach is paradise, a beach is life, while the soles of your feet feel the soft sand as you edge towards the shore. the beach is here and you are being hypnotized with its deep blue water beyond and with its ever mesmerizing sand...the art is by bron smith :)

why do i blog?

to keep pace with the passing time
and put a spin about life which is mine
to catch the traffic in my mind
and put it to print to be read
by me and you or place a critique
at something as trivial or with weight

to respond to the world as i see it displayed
to extend my love and care as i see it fit
to put a trail and a shadow of a world
lived by a nobody, myself, in this changing universe

i blog because i want to unclog my mind
i blog to say my part in an open diary
which anyone out there can glance
i blog as a connection to others who might
not know me but now
they can have a place to start

to peep or point a person they've never meet
to measure and gauge my humble worth
to be able to form a judgement even only in half
now there's me, not all but a part

better than being taken without a fact
better than being put into the dumps
now here i am, not all but the puzzle
is beginning to form into a whole
bit by bit as you read
and move your mouse

a window to my working mind
a place to call it home when i feel
like wanting to unwind
and give to the world
my view, my take even
how wrong or correct i am

nevertheless here is me
nevertheless i am here
for how long, who knows
but Him up there...only :)

thanks for your visit :)

paintings...Adele, done in true glittering gold by an Austrian master painter named Klimt and a Lone Iris done by an award winning artist, Anita Wolfe...plus lilies explosion done by one unknown painter...terrific and truly a sight to behold, i think so :) art is an uplifting medium that brings smiles :) and the most expensive painting to date so far is Adele...135 million USD...

the real joy... never an illusion :)

to you...

if not for your mercy
i won't be what i am today
if not for your generosity
life will be harder for me

so many people that
we met in this world
some inspires
some otherwise
some will put you down
yet some will lift you up

some will be good
but some will be bad
some will be kind
but some are not

what gives, why are some
are just that cold hearted
what gives, why there aren't
more of you in this world

in your house you treated us
all as your own
in your house mercy and gentleness
is the norm

as i see and visit you at any time
you are still the same star
that is so bright that lit my life
as i see and visit you at any time
you are just as lovely as before
a beautiful, unfading and
mesmerizing rose

life is short
but you've made mine
longer and happier
and not full of thorns...

happy b-day senorita, soon :) you're almost 80, but in my eyes, you are still as lovely as i first met you on that fateful day...it was Oct. the 13th, Friday... the day that changed my life forever...no amount of thanks, no amount of words can express my thanks...just prayers that God will give you the rewards that you really, really deserve... for not only me was lucky enough to have crossed your path, more than i can count in my head, yes more...blue Spanish eyes by Elvis...for you...the next tune...i will pray for your happiness, always...

there... even if my virgin lady look alike Spanish lady benefactor can't read this in a million years it is really enough that i can let it out in my chest :) i hope she'll like my present for what can you give to one who has everything? nothing except just give her anything and hope against hope that she'll like it :) books, piles and piles of them, cook books, gardening, inspirational...some trinkets or knick knacks, kitchen stuffs for she loves to cook, laughs, cheap gold and diamond jewelries, women's clothing, perfumes, chocolates and special candies, you name it, i gave it to her for years and years now. she said she could build a library just for those books that I've given her, laughs. yes, i try to let her not forget that i always remember her unsurpassed goodness and generosity to a poor person like me...unforgettable and my tears is starting to roll as i am writing this...one of the things that will make me cry and also as i remember the years ahead for Michael without us, i also cry, very, very sad...if i can just die and have my child be a normal person in exchange, i will in a second...i will...but that is life...we carry our own crosses and i have mine... the art is by Charles Holloway, titled..."the law of mercy"...

New Beginnings

reflections of us in that mirror transparent for all
inner shadows of our soul, sliced and diced and measured
the past is a book full of pages of our own
our lives lived secretly as our mind worked and tiptoed

we thought we can hide the silent us
we thought we can juggle the true us
we thought, yes we thought

in some ways life is like a play
we act our parts skillfully
like actors we emote
like actors we give our all

but at the end the play must stop
as the curtain behind will drop
as the darkened room will light
as a signal that we needed to depart
and live our very own true lives

thanks for the illusions
it did brought us smile for sometime
it brought us laughter
even only for just one night

better than nothing
better than blank
now we have the memories
to last our lives

who could say that illusions
are just fakes
who could say that illusions
are just make believes
we have the smiles
in our memories
yes, we have smiled
to prove
that we were happy
once

but then the curtain fell
and the music left
tho' with hope of
another play at another day
same partner, same characters
as the end is a good place to start
all over again and one more time

the lights would be up
running
and
shining
in that ceiling
beautifully and brightly
for another round of play
for another moment of display

of those fantastic lights above
of those bright lights above
for all of us to see

a new beginning
and
another piece
as we say goodbye
to yesterday
and we say hello
to a hopeful today :)

thanks for your wonderful art, dear artists :)
