Silence

Could it be goodbye, see you later?
Or permanent adios don't bother
Silence, surreal that special word
That gives relief to a noisy world

Tiptoeing in silence are us
Don't want to awaken the grass
Ants, grasshoppers and butterflies
Their homes wide open as such

No sounds no words, nothing
With back on that door only a clothing
With mind full of questions what's the matter
Sudden abruptly out that door with no answer

Come nights quiet as the wind
A pen no longer in hand withheld
The inbox went empty and bare
All greetings disappeared

Suddenly your wish is at your side
That peace you sought is here at last
A gift to God with open heart
To give a smile and peace of mind...
