A Rising Sun, a New Day

Circling alone till the end of time
No rest no stop, always primed
Rising from the east sitting on the west
To be seen again after a night's rest

Illusion never, a dream no more
As rays go up from the gloom of dawn
In oranges, purples, only golden crowned
Adorned the sky before a glorious morn

Reality laced truth not false, non-fiction
Made up the mind as the sun is born
To light up the sky of this universe soon
To erase the doom, that feared Armageddon

If we can only trust the sun
To give hope and to love thine
Its warmth, its spitfire, its shine

Enough to drive the devil out in our minds...
