Over the Atlantic or the Pacific
on oceans or of mountain ranges
counting continents and countries
due destination is reached
By bus, plane rides and cars
asleep, on wheels or eyes wide
tired, weak or unsatisfied
all the same the place is here at hand
Everything has its end
life relationships or any trend
joy, sadness or happiness
no choice in us but to accept
At times we are lucky
for those times that we're happy
but just any living things on earth
there will come a time of its death
Farewell the sun, so bright
the planets, and the stars above
this wonderful mother earth
who took us, and housed us since birth
So sad that we have to depart
timed life, yours, mine, and all of us
at least we had a chance
to live, to love, to smile and laugh...
