anything is possible with God

we woke up one day
at tears that came rolling
down our cheeks
the sun was gone
as clouds took
over the sky
so dark and bleak

the rain kept
falling
pouring
roaring
down heavily
drowning lilies
until their stems
would break

gazing around
looking past the curtain
the trees begun to sway
the leaves begun to wave
bidding their last goodbye
their permanent farewell

next day it was a miracle
the air was calm and fresh
the smell of earth, the grass
a natural perfume, it's free
and there for all to breath
it invigorates
it penetrates
a scent that one
won't ever forget

the storm had passed
as sunshine
replaced the rain
a howling wind then
but now it's the
the buzz of the bees
encircling your ears

God works in very
mysterious ways
as surprises in a cage
a bird begins to sing
chirping sweet music
wordless melodies
capturing your ears

God heals you
God touches you
in so many ways
God brings you
genuine laughter
that nothing
can ever compare

anything is
possible with God
anything will line up
and correct itself
with His mighty hands
yesterday was dark
yesterday you were vilified
yesterday you were misunderstood
but now something had changed
you are now respected and loved

the natural force
in this universe
always turns the tide
the order of the good
will always be
will always be
the one on top

time changes
at each passing day
truth will override
the lies, the illusions
that are out there
that might suck you away

God is good
God is powerful
God is truth
God is tomorrow
God is forever
God makes
the impossible
shines with you :)

a "Mantegna" painting in the middle. the great, talented Italian renaissance and religious master painter of the 1400 hundred century... to the one who landed on my blog looking for a poem as that title above... Lot's of people are looking for poems all over the world, I'm amazed. poems of flowers, for a loved one and about life in general are being googled, laughs. but anyway faith is a weapon. without it we are just travelers without an itinerary and a destination, lost in this journey called life...God is the way and God is the light...and God is the one that can make the impossible land into your lap like what He did in my life. Thanks Lord, i can't say that enough...

music is magic...

one very memorable song, a favorite of mine for a long time now. glad i finally found it :) my next piano piece, laughs. it's been awhile since i played the piano. i think i forgot how to already. oh well, i dunno, no time for I'm so busy talaga ;) so needless to say the piano is on idle mode for quite awhile now...silence is not bliss and this is one case of it..."A Comme Amour" i know it's about love, laughs. yeah, that four letter word that makes people compose, paint, sing, play, be happy, smile and all that positive good stuffs, laughs. really a sword like and penetrating melody that bores into your heart...an A+ melody, for me at least. lovely piece... BRAVO!!! a flawless performance for this pianist :) Mr. Sim Yang, doing a rendition of a Richard Clayderman classics, one of the best pianist in my book :>

Dad Divine

"Frosted flakes in that window pane,
Sturdy stems of evergreens,
Wind swept shadow in my window glass,
Peeping softly, and as silent
As my beating heart"... that is my dad, visiting :)

Dad passed away 19 years ago at this time at the dawn of a new coming year. Instead of celebrations we were in our darkest hours then. Same time every year and every birthday of his, even what place or where I am, driving or what not, my tears start to roll down like a river of dropping rain...as I remember him. So gentle and so kind of a man. He was the one who told me to always "smile" no matter what and at any given time. But not on this occassion for I simply can't...

Visiting my dad's grave, 07-02-'07 was the one that I did on my birthday, for we did celebrate on 7-01-'07 already, a Sunday, for my friends and relatives' convenience, an off day for them from work...bringing back my first ever very short poem dedicated to my dad then....
***
MEMORIES are the only ones we have now, but still we treasure the GOOD TIMES we had with you...it's YOUR DAY today...although with sadness that you're not around anymore, may you rest in peace, PAPANG...we love you...and we miss you...(6-15-08)

what love is not...

as your heart beats
many times a day
as you open and close
your eyes repeatedly
love comes
not less than once

as a Muslim wife
four is the max
but in the USA
you can have more
than you want
but don't forget
to divorce and say
goodbye
love comes
not less than once

in my first country
the Philippines
love is all around
Querida here
Querida there
love comes
not less than once

as the sun rises
so many times
as the sun goes down
a gazillion times
love comes
not less than once

love comes and goes
love fades and dies
faster than your hands can wipe
that bitter tears
in those crying eyes
so get used to it
and put this in your mind
love comes
not less than once
to some :)

what a funny string of words, my so called elementary poem here about love, laughs. oh well. but it's a fact of life that love is not but once, to some. which is better i think. the more the love is the happier the life is, laughs. just make sure that you don't love more than one at the same time for you gonna be confused on who really your love is, laughs. it's bad for you and your loves, laughs. oh well again, really this poem gave me a smile...for the worth of it...but hey, whatever you want it's your life so who are we to interfere with your love life? my take. this is just a way of lightening things up, laughs...pass it on your love i mean :>

what is music...

music is the
language of your soul
that is left unsaid

music is the
melody of your spirit
that is hummed in silence

music is the word that
you express yourself with
without question nor pretense

music is the divine world
that you let your mind
lives and speaks

and music is the string of
words that is kept alive
with the sounds of guitars
of pianos and the likes
that would make your heart
beats with a smile :)

music & love...

the sadness and the sword like effect it has on the heart...yes, music, that is :) the inspiration of my favorite diamond commercial, so they say...a winner, i think so :>

you need to walk on my shoes sometimes :)

you did not see me
jump the river
for you were blind
you did not see me
cross the street
for you're almighty high
a nameless face
a filthy beggar
just dancing in
your mind

you did not see me
as a dog coming to
greet you on your
journey home
you did not see me
as a bird to come
to sing you a lullaby
as you bid your day goodbye
instead you look
at me and treated
me like a skunk
with that stupid look
filled with spit
nastiness, unloved

but master did you ever think
that you did not see me bec. you
weren't wearing my shoes
your life is full of joy
of accomplishment
so there lies the great divide
you did not see my loneliness
in that water that reflected my eyes
no, yes, not yet you're right
bec. your life is blessed
compared to mine

instead you treated
me like dirt
that dirt that you
yourself and me
will become

a truly rude awakening
more so for you than mine
that force so strong

that jet blown wind
that brought you down

from that wide spacious sky
it might just be

the hurricane
the eternal force
that will start to

blow your mind

just a poor, dumb

stupid dog
without a brain
without a mind
just a forgotten
best friend
of a master
called a high
heartless and

uncaring man...

and yes, the signs were read and understood but it was left unsaid to be silently deciphered but apparently there is no bait so no catch for the day... as if one went fishing but forgot the most important thing, the bait. hmn, maybe our dog can do that for us someday, the interpreter of silence, the reminder of the things that we forgot :) let's give a chance to the dog to be smarter than us, laughs. but i think they are very intelligent creatures already, helping and guiding the blind, dialing 911, giving us the morning papers, sniffing bombs and drugs and other contraband stuffs. so i won't pay attention to them that much for certainly they can take care of themselves. for one thing they can swim right there and then even without swimming lessons, so i will bet that they have instincts to save their lives as well in cases of emergencies like a person who can smell a rat in human form for after all humans are not that stupid as some think that we are...what a wrong assumption...and never underestimate anyone for you are just opening yourself to very unlikely surprises that eventually you won't be happy about :) so my friends i noticed that sometimes the most intelligent humans are the most stupid of them all, sometimes and sadly, even worst than a dog :) a disappointment indeed, which makes you think you should never paid a visit in the first place, i meant to a swamp filled with sharks that would bite you and that would be understandable. but we move on and take out the thorns and that is a metaphor :) for we worship the ones that are not deserving. an eye opener. but hey as I've said we do make mistakes and this is one of them. so just say a prayer for them and give a very meaningful smile to yourself for you've finally discovered something, the truth that you've really wasted your time big time, poor you, laughs. oh well! and that's life my friend in this big planet earth which is full of metaphors, mysteries, magic and a dog like man, i meant who bites you in metaphors...and use and abuse you in their way to earn a living or putting food in their tables and what could be worst than that? laughs. the worst of its kind, but that's how they are measured in my book. although you can rise above this and say it is really just in your interpretation my friend and very true, laughs. but believe it or not i can read minds and you will be better serve if you always keep this in mind ...(^_~)...now I'm thinking that I'm just glad that i started a blog. for silence sometimes can be very suffocating. no voice from you and this blog, my blog, had changed that even how small my voice maybe. it is out there, out here to re butt and to tell my side of the story. so i say yes long live to blogs! a neat tool to counteract the opposing mind :)

Mike and his bike :)

for his b-day, Michael had a new bike :) with three wheels, laughs. he is just confused though for at school he needs to back pedal to break or stop, but with this new bike he needs to put a grip on the handle and he still needs to learn that, but he is happy. and did you know that Michael is a good swimmer? better than J.C. laughs. they taught him swimming lessons at his special school :) and by instinct like dogs, i suppose, he learned to swim and very good at it. he won't never drown except if his seizure attack will occur in the water which i dreaded most...

2 hrs. in illusion land...

we went to see Indiana Jones, J.C. and me... and every time i see a movie in this place it felt like it is so empty. too huge of a place, they must have invested millions and millions of dollars in it, but for what? i can count maybe less that fifty people edging along its gigantic lobby. i would prefer the Phil. where you can see lots of humans but here i dunno it is just bare, empty and sad. but anyhow i wasn't impressed that much with the movie itself, really. it is fun, but something is missing that i can't put my fingers into, although nice intro of a song by Elvis, "you're nothing but a hound dog" laughs. oh well. maybe the next James Bond movie will do better :) but see, to each is his or her own naman so...it was still with day light when we went in, but the top shot was when we went out...
***
and here is a very talented, gifted and cheerful pet painter named Michael who was born with Down Syndrome in this link :) amazing! out of topic but pets are not illusions :) a wonderful artist with disability...
***
and i want to say hi to imialex, M, atty. Elly Pamatong and of course to Dr. Jam as well in Brian's blog :) have a lovely day guys or gals? although gender doesn't really matter here :) you've said your hi, missing me and shown your support so thanks is in order here. yes, Paulina S. said it is just a blog "noh" that we have here but never the less it is a nice human connection that although we don't know each other personally we feel we have a thing in common that is hopefully unity which Elena and her Paulina S. seemingly not to be in their plates...girls or rather ladies remember the saying that goes "divided we fall but united we stand" it is not really about us it is all about Brian's cause...the goal to have his money back...this we need to always remember. hope you both are reading my blog :) if not at least i tried to make a connection rather than doing nothing and after this we move on...but lastly i am intrigue with your comment Paulina S. that if we will really know who you really are, we will be blown away, interesting. ms. "contessang bato" as you claimed yourself to be or a "crazy bitch" by another poster describing you, "let the show begins" and then we will count how many of Brian's readers will be blown by you or else we are just in the illusion land of make-believes again, a place that i don't want to be in which is understandable...be truthful, stand by your words and never ever assume another identity if you want to be taken seriously...for a circus of lies is a circus in life that all of us can't watch :)

on the way to gas up...

with that ever expensive gasoline.

My Fun Heart-shaped Diamond Ring, an old entry...

In my "old" battered hands, my beloved heart-shaped diamond ring stays :) With broken small bits and small pieces of true diamonds... For I've learned an important fact, the smaller the diamonds are, the cheaper it gets, laughs. And this is the only one that I can afford, this if you believe me, laughs. Diamonds are a girl's best friend they say, but they never mentioned the size, right? laughs. But guys for your sweetie though, buy them the biggest one there is. This is only my fun ring for I'm not really a "sucker" of jewelries. I only have my wedding band, my engagement ring, my crucifix pendant, my college ring and of course my red created heart-shaped ruby ring and this one, that's it...Just want to share with you my simple joys. Hope no one minds...:) Pls. click to enlarge image..."I LOVE HEARTS" for they mean life and love :>...pics taken, 2-25-07

does art imitates life or vice versa...

these hands are connected to my brain
these eyes do what it tells
this paint brush is guided by my brain
but it's up to you to decide
but it's up to you to derive
and better yet to guess
what's my art implies

is it true or is it a lie
is it there or is it not
is it wrong or is it right
my friend as one of my favorite writer writes
you can interpret it for whatever you like

for if it's true then
it will directly say to you
if it's a lie it's easy for it will turn blue
if it's hiding in paintings
if it's hiding in metaphors
you've guessed it my friend
it isn't true and
they just want
to play with you...

time is short, time is precious. pls. spend it wisely :) so does art imitates life? it depends on the painter, really. for a liar paints lies intentionally and vice versa :) and both works of art are called art no matter what, interesting isn't it? laughs. oh well...hope they sell as well, but i hope more moolah for the one who paints the truth :) yes, art imitates life not only sometimes but most of the times minus the lies, laughs. and life imitating art is more subtle like it should be a positive art for inspiration purposes...

let the music roll...

sweet and enchanting for awhile
soft scintillating like a cloud
warm and fuzzy it hits your heart
until it ends
until the melody
disappears
and silence
replaced
its spot
***
similar to a flower
that it fades
just like a life
that reached its peak
music and its melody
will come to an end
but the sights and sounds
will always be etched
forever in your head
until your one last breath
on your one last day on earth...
***
"a lone iris" painted by award winning artist Anita Wolff... like a flower we were born alone just as similar as we will all die alone..."Blue Spanish Eyes" by Elvis...dedicated to the brightest and most beautiful flower that I've ever met in my entire life...my virgin Mary look alike Spanish lady benefactor whom i visit always whenever i am in the Philippines. the least i could do for her unparalleled gift of education to a poor person like me :)
***
then my ipod will be in shuffle mode :) music is life and life is short and it comes to us only but once. so let's put a spice of music in it, the way we like it, the way we want it decorated and bundled with the melodies of our choice which i am doing here in my little space in this universe we called cyberspace. hope you've enjoyed my music. if not then you know what to do, this if you happened to be lost and landed on my blog, laughs. just click out for i certainly won't mind :) good day to all and god bless!

the politics of our time...

there are rumors going around that Obama will clinch that magic number needed to be the democratic presidential nominee tonight. if that so then i will conclude that:
1) money talks and walks...his campaign was well funded starting with Oprah's moolah
2) seniority and experience does not count plus intelligence as well
3) former president Bill Clinton must have alienated quite a bit of people that in spite of the trillion projected surplus in the budget when he left office which btw Mr. Bush had squandered and leaving this country with that same amount in deficit, what a contrast, with his positive accomplishments still Hillary is down, can't help his wife. although not that much down though for she is winning the popular votes meaning more democrats voted for her
4) no church for mr. Obama for he resigned. then who will give him that divine intervention to win
5) the audacity of hope indeed. as in your face challenge for John McCain for he will be announcing his win in the site of the future republican convention tonight. i hope his soaring ambition won't be dashed by this war hero comes fall, but i am not optimistic, for i don't think this country is ready for a black president with Muslim ties that's why he was against the Iraq war in the first place. his heart is somewhere else as well
6) and i hope Hillary won't accept the VP if he offered it to her bec. they will lose anyways
7) that ambition clouds common sense as what Obama is showing
8) i don't think Mr. Obama will be president although nice try. he needs to gain more experience, be the VP of Hillary that is more logical
9) that you'll wake up one day and the mirror will be telling you, you dreamed so high, now us will be suffering again bec. of it...and yes, it will be just a dream. America is not ready for a black president not yet, my friend and Mr. Obama will have to prove me wrong on this one comes November
10) i love politics but I'm tired of it now! it's obvious for too much ambition by Obama and under the table politics by the republicans voting for him had won for now. it will come back though, it will, this when Hillary will be the first woman president and it will happen :)
11) yes, only in America that one who is a junior senator can be considered as a front runner bec. republicans voted for him just so they will win handily in November, for they thought he is easier to beat than Hillary. that is dirty politics and somewhere sometime someone has to give...so good luck Mr. Obama for i think you will need a lot of it. but if you win this November then that is really an accomplishment and you will have my respect then, for proof first before anything else :) like trust, one needs to show that he can be trusted first...that's just makes sense...

so many plants so many flowers...

from top to bottom, all these presence are signs of paradise on earth, i love it! :>
