who could have thought
that the sun won't shine today
because it had already shone yesterday
who could have thought that the moon
will be half of the size of what it was
for the moon kept changing like life
it kept on changing like love
and the stars above
today they twinkle up in that sky and dance
today they dazzled this planet earth's inhabitants
but tonight who knows if they are still around
for all we know they could have plunged
down into the deepest part of that blue ocean
and counted by thousands of wanting hearts
wishing for their dreams
that might come true or not...
we won't know, we might never ever know...
