life's own corrections...

an exaggerated smiling president's artwork. it denotes coins, hmn, i wonder if those are fifty cents coin that i read ages ago, probably. but yes, it's raining money in this administration trying to save the ailing economy here and it is working. the banking system was surely saved from its collapse or downfall or unwanted demise. thanks to the unprecedented bailout cash. sure, life corrects itself...in our economy and in my life as well. i was just thinking while i was trying to whip up some kind of a dinner made up of vermicelli noodles with shrimps, sardines, leeks and petsay with beef and chicken bouillon, yum! i am a noodle freak, pasta, pancit and plus, laughs. yes. i am a good cook, ask J.C. but not my husband, for he cooks his own food, lucky me :) ...here in the U.S. food is abundant, it's everywhere. all kinds of different treats from all over the world that would make your taste buds dance and smile. during special occasions i can't even think of what i want to eat here for there's nothing to want anymore that you can't easily get. yes, a far, far cry from the diet that i was used to growing up which is occasional meat, lots of fish and vegetables which really i think is more healthier than what it is now, so i try to put a lot of salads in between as well... life is a feast or a famine, life is hunger or abundance and I've experienced both worlds...what a life. changes and chances made it happen for me...today, even how poor i am still, i can probably hire a maid or two when i am in my country of origin visiting but i would rather work with my own hands which i am used to since the very beginning of time. that is very humbling and it reminds me of where i came from. nothing is better than to eat with your own life's toils, i read that somewhere. yes, i read but not very much... but i listen and pay attention too much as the tunes take their turns in this blog, my selected music favorites. it is the melodies not the lyrics for it is simply the tune that will capture my attention, first. but if both the tune and the lyrics match, so much for the better :>
