jade and some garden plants

when cats start showing up at your doorsteps their color do not matter. brown long haired h. saya in 2008, then jade recently. this green eyed black short haired cat came to us this year. you just have to take action and help these abandoned, homeless felines. i am not fond of the black color because it's been associated with negative connotations, like black sheep of the family, mourning and etc. but in japan black is a lucky color, a charm, so we'll take that meaning :) there are lots of abandoned, homeless cats esp. in the philippines but the weather with winter here, the survival of these street animals is a lot more challenging i think than in manila where a nice, breezy tropical weather exists, so they needed all the help and the compassion that they could get. no complaints here. pets come knocking at our door instead of us buying them. they have chosen us and they're free plus they give us warm, true and unconditional love :>

the sadness of being unloved...

left and abandoned
thrown in the streets
never to be seen again
by people who loved
them first

but how can we know
they can not tell their stories
they can not speak
they are helpless
life untraced

so many sadness
so many tears
hungry stomachs
meows of despair
and of endless pains

so many houses
so many dwellings
they've reached
here in our house
food and love is a gift

when God gave you kittens
dirty, with mangled skins
it is the time to reach out
give your helping hands
and keep them sheen...

for they are sent by God as a gift... ("_")...like sad and melancholic songs, someday they will turn your life into joy and cheers :) hopefully, but no, it is for sure ;)
