for i know there will be
colorful crayons dangling
in the air
i can't wait for the sun
to come out for i know
there will be flashlights
of delight
as i can't wait for the night
for i know there will be
bountiful beautiful fireflies
flying out
flipping, frolicking as if there is only the dark
and being overpowered when daylight comes
as there are rainy days and summer butterflies
chasing rainbows that won't last and
chasing happiness is similar to that...
