the winner takes it all...2...
the winner is...or the next Prez is...i really don't know for politics in the Philippines is hard to predict and i bet we won't know the results immediately. here in the U.S. as soon as the voting precinct closes the projection of the winner is announced on different TV stations...yes, in a flash...the pain of the losers and the glory of the winners could be felt at once on the same night...maybe one reason why the USA is a first world country, i dunno. just a thought...with the now automation of the polls there in the Philippines you would think that it would be the same...if not, why not?...5-6-'10...
i was wrong for after 48 hrs. the results are almost in and you can see it with your own eyes who the winners would possibly be. here in the U.S. it is after the polling places are closed we could hear the results trekking in with the winners proclaimed on the same night as the votes were cast. but after 2 days there in the phil. this is really a step forward into the right direction. it is not pleasant to be the commander in chief if your victory is marred with allegations of cheating. but now legitimacy is there for this president. victory is better sweet, after the death of both of his parents...let's hope that corruption would really be abolished in his administration for that is the big cause of the set backs to progress. maybe he can push that change to a parliamentary form of government then that would be great!
