autumn starts @ 4:18 PM today...autumn is true, it's here :)after all the spring flowers are gone
after all the summer colors had bid their goodbyes
here comes fall with its colorful flumes
here comes autumn with its colorful explosions
before winter with its icy wicked grip
before the cold catches and freezes all what's left
except for the evergreen that refuses to sleep
with green leaves that stay all year
autumn, it is hard for me to let you go
as i walk slowly over your carpet of yellows and gold
i remember life that comes and goes
i remember the lilies that now can't continue to grow
because the pond will now turn
into a hard, solid void
because the water will now be gone
until next spring and
the wait for me is just too long...
