With a click of a mouse we've met
Just a tap of that keyboard, very neat
We see, we feel, we measure, we calculate
We think, we breath, we bare our souls to rest
Did I total you just right
Did my impression of you jibe
Or just a disappointment, a farce
And mere illusions in my mind
Don't judge me as I look
For that is only the outer truth
Measure me as I treat you
For that is the real me, it's true
Did my mouth blabber out
Did foul words came out on the dot
With mincing words, very unkind
Out, our true selves for all to find
A friend will say hi with a smile
An enemy will highly criticize
A relative will forget all the bad
But a love one will accept us just the way we are... :)
Nice poem :) and that is not self sucking, laughs. Just carrying one's chair, oh well :) Pardon again pls., but really to please the ONE up there should be the main preoccupation of our lives, not to kiss or stroke anyone's feathers, undeserving or otherwise they maybe. We just recognize their God given talent but not to the point that they're obliged to return that favor or acknowledge us back, beyond that simple thank you pleasantress. For more than that is suspect. Remember, the best things in life are free... the air, the flowers, the sun and the sea and true friends of course :> and that's right on target... :) and don't forget that love and respect for our fellowman too... (^_~)... they come free and can't be bought by money and worth more than gold...
So there ladies and gents, that is a straight forward not that twitchy kind of a hit for the nothing but the truth kind of a story that you can only read or get in this blog. Again, only the truth and nothing but the truth. No made up stories for the buck, that green paper thing that is making one alive, laughs... Bec. after all we live in the real world here not in some kind of an unkind universe somewhere out there :> that you'll definitely need that special skill to dodge dicey words thrown at you that is, imagined or real. For you need to cover everything you know, laughs. :)
