the pole is broken
into two
too short to touch
the water
down below
the sinker's weight
is not enough
it floated up
even you throw
it down
with all your might
the day is bright
as the sun
is up and high
the fishes are there
as you can see them
with your own naked eye
the challenge is
for you to tame
one swimming kind
that fish down there
but try it only
with your bare
unguided hands
will you catch a fish
that is so quick and smart
can you trick a fish
that has so many
hidden nooks to hide
a broken missing pole
won't help
an unguided hands
won't do the trick
but did you ever think
that a dynamite
might help?
the only thing is
the fish would be
depressed or dead
the only thing is
the fish won't be
that good enough to eat :)
and talking about debates and politics, tomorrow is a big night, so they say. it is widely anticipated that the audience will be far more than the first debate last Friday between the two top men vying for the presidency. the fair consensus based on the interview results given by Sarah Palin as of late is that there is no intelligence or more deep brain power in her head, but this lady was a mayor, a governor and there were debates involved in her quest for these jobs for sure, plus a graduate of journalism and a beauty queen at that. i won't ever look down at her, she is more than qualified to be the V.P. if her team wins but with most of the polls this minute showing that Obama is 4-9 points ahead with a little more than a month to go before we cast our votes, who will know for sure, only the One above :) again, may the lucky, God anointed person wins for America's sakes. i will be watching the debate but i don't think that Sarah Palin will spoil it for me. on the contrary it might turn out to be as entertaining as me reading a joker delivering his lines for a fast laugh, only the difference is that a joker is for illusions and make believes but this debate is for real, involving real lives of real people :)
just finished watching the most anticipated V.P. candidates' debate here at CNN and I'm right, it was as entertaining as i thought it would be. I'm glad that this lady proved her detractors wrong by doing brilliantly in this debate, although i would say that Joe Biden had won it by a slight margin bec. of him being more knowledgeable in issues that was discussed which is expected of him bec. of his longer stay in this arena called politics. that being said, Sarah Palin did stood her grounds and did pretty well and passed the test that was laid before her prior to this occasion. the expectation of her was so low based on her not doing well on these one to one TV interviews previously. she does good on live events compared to these sit ons one to one meetings of question and answer type settings. over all in me watching these debates i came to the conclusion that if a democrat will win the election i win as well bec. it's a win for the working class which i am one of. on the other hand if a republican will win, Michael, my special son and his company will benefit. but the bottom line is...the rich will benefit best in an elephant country and the middle class will do better in donkey land. and both party said NO to gay marriage, in their own lips tonight which is not friendly to in between guys and gals out there...but definitely it was a more interesting night than last Friday, i thought so :) politics really can capture my attention more than flowers, I'm afraid for I'm very fascinated with people whose career is to serve others but with the pork barrels being tied to this economic bail out package that they're trying to pass i am inclined to believe that politicians have hidden agendas of their own, like looking first for their own pockets before the good of their own constituents except of course on election time which makes sense bec. they want their votes at that time, and that is so sad. once elected some will look the other way and that is not right. sweet words and promises will be flying out just to land into that office that they wanted but once in position they forget or they don't deliver on their promises...and it goes on and on in elections here in the U.S. and in my country of birth as well and btw, there are no debates in the Phil. so why is that?
