Summer time seems so far and so long ago
Early morning walks and bike rides for two
Brisk and crisp scent of fresh and sweet air
With chirping birds by bursting a lullaby
Floral perfumes fan your nose as you talk
Green grass adorned all gardens as you walk
Children playing by in their bit of backyards
As dogs wag their tails and occasionally bark
As autumn leaves fall beneath colorful trees
Reds, oranges and browns, beyond bright buzzing bees
Callously trimmed twigs swayed by that wayward wind
Ripe harvestly primed as apples and strawberries' sweet
Wintry days come as summer and fall pass
Bone chilling cold not so good for the eyes
Piles of powdery snow and blocks of slippery ice
Adorn every roads what a beautiful sight
Then comes that change, so alive and so well
Sprouts of thin leaves and pretty flowers will tell
Spring is now here and the change that we crave
In our daily lives and of the weather as well...
