but it's no better i warned you, laughs. gosh! singing is hard! and up to 3 minutes is all this camera can record. i really did not plan to sing but the stars lined up for it, laughs. i heard in the mass 2 days ago about the phrase "come follow me" so i thought that was a nice song. i started to research it but that's not the title so i have to google it and it was "be not afraid" then i went to itunes and Jon Sarta has a piano piece of it. got the lyrics and since my recent posts were about churches, the houses of God, voila, why not try to sing it myself? laughs. oh well. so here it goes, me trying hard to give justice to the song but failed. hey, i am not a singer, so that's my valid excuse, laughs. oh well. maybe i could listen to a nicer voice version of it somewhere, someday, and maybe it will be coming from you, how about it? :>
Be Not Afraid...Bob Dufford, S.J.
You shall cross the barren desert
But you shall not die of thirst
You shall wander far in safety
Though you do not know the way.
You shall speak your words in foreign lands
And all will understand
You shall see the face of God and live.
Be not afraid
I go before you always
Come follow Me
And I shall give you rest.
If you pass through raging waters
In the sea, you shall not drown
If you walk amidst the burning flames
You shall not be harmed.
If you stand before the power of hell
And death is at your side
Know that I am with you, through it all.
Be not afraid
I go before you always
Come follow Me
And I shall give you rest.
Blessed are your poor
For the Kingdom shall be theirs
Blessed are you that weep and mourn
for one day you shall laugh.
And if wicked men insult and hate you
All because of Me
Blessed, blessed are you!
Be not afraid
I go before you always
Come follow Me
and I shall give you rest...
