as if time stood still
the well is dry and empty
the pail had wasted
its journey
the water had sunked
to the deepest part
of the earth's crust
just thick mud
is all that we have
we should have come
a few months back
to catch the rain
that's free and flowing
from the sky
we should have woke up
at the dawn of day
not now when
the sun is hot
we should have caught
the last bus
now the best trip
had left and passed
we can't walk to
the nearest highway
our legs had given up
we can't reach the road
that will lead us into glory
our spirit is now sapped
as if time stood still
and hugged us
as if time stayed
and dwelt
as if time played
forever
in our eyes and
in our laps...

we needed the rain
it's been that cold the night before
today the clouds had blocked the sun
the heat can't penetrate
the huge dark canopy above
it's deep too thick and wide
it's been a long hot summer
the breeze is nowhere to be found
it's been sweltering and boiling
you can cook an egg if you want
the grass is turning brown
its green is lost and done
the cows or cattles are in despair
their food and strength are gone
as swift as spring, summer is over
rain where are you now
autumn with its colorful glory
hope the rain will visit anytime
finally today a clap of thunder
the sky is soaked with rain
it's filled with so much water
large droplets came rushing in
rain don't go away now
the earth is parched and drained
the cows or cattles are slowly dying
distraught and thirsty
tired and weak
the weather is changing fast
cold and nippy is here tonight
the weather is uncontrollable
sunnier more rain please
that's all we want :)
wonderful art, thanks dear artist...

in search of...
this is downtown Detroit...all are quick passing shots i took inside a moving vehicle :)
Windsor, Ontario, Canada...
pics taken 7-2-'09...where is the beach? that man made beach with a small playground in it then? for it is only a river after all, the one that we have here not an ocean. I'm pretty sure it was at the end of the road then, but lo and behold it's gone and they built beautiful houses in its place, so one will have to drive up north to see a beach, around more than 4 hrs. drive that is. I'll wait to see a warm, hot beach in the Philippines instead, God willing :) well, this is how this day went. at the end on our way home i bought a pretty living room lennox lamp on sale, 60% off. it was almost 500 and i paid only 200 something and a change, a bargain really. my gift for myself. one beautiful lamp i thought when i first plugged it in. hope Michael won't destroy it again like what he did with the old one...I'll have it repaired for the switch, bec. of too much use er play it was destroyed.

the Michael saga is truly dominating our TV here. i watched his Neverland ranch which was previously the sycamore ranch, the trees that we have in our street here and the seed that went up in that trip in space a long time ago maybe for experiment. Larry King was there tonight and boy that place is heaven. what a man made paradise really. no memorial or public viewing there after all for it won't be logical to accommodate his fans. this man lived the life but i don't think that he found true happiness, the one state you know that will really make you glow inside and out and that is just deep sadness. that's how i felt hearing and now dissecting in my own way his life on earth...happiness is just very elusive for Michael in spite of all that money, adoration, talent and fame. we can't have everything in this life and this is just one classic example of it which is kinda sad...
