another day, another year, another chance

today as the sun rises east
it will be another day
today at noon i was born
five decades ago today

as i open my eyes
i wonder what is different
i wonder and think
what could be different

i'm getting older and
hopefully wiser
i'm getting better
but in what i stop and
my mind began to wonder

another day
another chance
another year
hopefully of smiles

another sunrise
another sunset
another chance
to greet the sky
and the heavens

another time to think
of another space
another minute
to juggle what's in your head
another moment to
discover the lies and the deceits
another second to enjoy
the people who cares

another smile
another laughter
another thanksgiving
to God for He is
always there to help

another wish
another prayer
that life would be kinder
to you, to us,
and of course
to all who happens
to know you
in length
in seconds
in moments
or in years...

thank's Lord for another year...the best gift from you :) and i am a little older than Madonna and Michael Jackson but as old as Imee Marcos, laughs. just in case you're curious about my age :) but i know you don't care...(^_~)... for there are a lot of better things to talk or think about than my age, oh well...life is passing by so fast...hope i can catch as much happiness and smiles as i can...but i needed to work hard, laughs. and i have my family :)
