under that sad blue sky

quiet and peace
reigned here
besides your heart
dark blue and deep
beyond that enormous
far away gaze
as you close your eyes
to sleep

still and silent is the night
cold and drafty is the dawn
that came knocking and banging
at your closed shut door

as you lay with
your arms folded
in your chest
as you shift
from sides to sides
all alone in that bed
of fragrant roses
of buzzing noises
and silent kisses
of soft enchanting music
that is no more
to haunt you
that is no more
to cast a spell on you
that is no more to
trick you
with wide open eyes
of deceit and lies...
