i was never there

the rain is pouring down and the slope is just too slant
can't grab the rocks and bury my hands
the climb was too risky it ain't worth our time
you thought it would be daring to dangle dry
the view is beautiful but that is only for awhile
there's a constant change in that blue dark sky
there's guts but no glory and the wind is howling by
one chance for me and ain't today
even tomorrow it won't and it'll never be
for there are a lot of mountains that my eyes wanna see
adios Monte Nada I'll set my dreams to an Everest someday :)
this Wyoming rocky mountains look majestic and unforgiving to climb and explore. no words can describe its natural charm. with jugged edges arranged surrounding the likes of a dormant volcano maybe. that's how i can describe it the very least. knife like and bare, cold and couldn't care. distant but never dull. amazing though far...but i would rather climb a tropical mountain range which is full of warmth and covered with a rain forest for i love the birds and the trees... tsk! really new years' resolutions are hard to keep, laughs. oh well. but i can't blame myself for i have sooo much to write or to talk about. my mind is just too full of things to pen, or to type about. but who cares really for no one does and i know that. so my keyboard will march on or not, for now...(^_~)...
our world sings with flowers :)

we drive around all day with nowhere to go nor an itinerary
the sun was young yesterday but now it's golden and dreary
its rays are weaning, its warmth is now a cold book
closed and never to be read in one's rest or reverie
we could have put some wool in that suitcase
that could have draped a shivering body
we could have driven in a long and winding freeway that leads to eternity
that as the sun moved slowly we can catch some fire to light our way
before it goes to sleep or before it is being tucked gently
our world needs colors to adorn our tired eyes
our hearts need the flowers to give their smiles
the bees that buzz in our ears telling and asking you and me
where is my food, my honey, those sweet taste nectarines
that only these God made flowers could give us freely...
flowers are indispensable parts of our lives...they give colors and bring smiles to every sad heart... above are my very own flowers that once made my garden sing with joy and pride :) it is like drugs ex. cocaine, crystal meth or MJ to me...i don't do drugs, never did... but i do flowers, i smell or sniff them as i please :> drug addicts though sadly make the wrong choice, a big mistake for the high is just but slight and not forever like the euphoric memories you get from the smell of a rose, a sampaguita, a rosal, a dama de noche or an ilang-ilang :) so guys wake up...

"a cut above the rest"...

...the theme of this year's 2010 Rose Parade...Captain Chesley Sullenberger...remember the miracle at the Hudson River? he was the pilot of that lucky flight that landed on water without any casualty January, 2009. he is the 2010 grand marshal of the 121st Annual Rose Parade which is the mother of all parades here in the U.S. done in Pasadena, California right every New Year's Day. what could be the best thing to do in opening or welcoming the new year than watching fabulous floats covered and adorned with exceptional, pretty or beautiful flowers all over them and seeing and hearing lots of great marching bands from different parts of the country play or perform...this is what i do :) it bring smiles into the new year as you see a lot of smiles as well. one dream vacation of mine too, maybe in the future. and yeah, countries in asia also participate with their parade float entries and during the past parades they were even winners of the best float. corporations also participate. i just saw Honda won the best animation trophy where a plane looking like a helicopter doing its stunt on the parade. also snow boarding dogs are featured today, lovely! incredible 2 hrs. live program at HGTV, (home and garden TV) without any commercial :> and i just saw JACKIE CHAN in a Chinese float, my favorite actor. a comedy marshall art hero. the "spy next door" is his new movie coming up on 1-15-'09, i bet it will be fun to watch it :) ...see the movie shot here...

time to turn the page...

goodbye to the past
it's all but a memory now
hello to a new dawn
hope wrapped afire
***
wishing for more laughter
praying for more love and smiles
here we are at the stroke of midnight
welcoming a new time, a new life
***
let's toast to a prosperous future
with hopes of happiness that will endure
from now on and years yonder
the sun will shine brighter
***
let's gather around the table
raise our hands and the bottle
pour the champagne, fill the glass
let's march on and be merrier
for a new day is here :)
***
A VERY HAPPY, BLESSED and a BLISSFUL 2010 to everyone :> thanks to the www. for these incredible images for they make one in anticipation of the new year... smile, shine and dance :)
