winter 2009...in our neighborhood :)
air force one, the flying white house...
no golden touches like those for a king...simple yet complex...but truly one nice perk for the commander in chief :) and yes, air force one has an identical twin...two of them in the air at all times just in case the president's plane is in trouble... a spare will come in handy fast if you will :)
papang...flowers for you :)

frosted flakes in that window panesturdy stems of the evergreen
wind swept shadow in my window glass
peeping softly and as silent
as my beating heart...that is my dad, visiting :)
***
why does a sparrow
sings of sorrow
why does a pen
runs out of ink
why does a door closes
behind you
why does a heart bleeds
with tears
love is not forever
love will be gone
love will be lost
love will say goodbye...

adoring adam

the creation of adam...at the sistine chapel, vatican city, painted by michelangelo, before and after restoration...i came into your door one day
hugged you, smelled you
and marked you in
my memory
i waited at your work patiently
just to get a glimpse
of your meek, humble
and engaging face
i trodded along with friends
and relatives to meet
you and marvel
at your amazing works
i am a fan, adoring adam
called and labeled as
a stalker by someone
that he loves
how many of us in this planet
earth who admire your works
brilliant, genius, superb
as they can get
how many of us had hugged you
gotten a picture of you
and put you in our wallet
for a later look and peek
yes, the visits, which your
love must have winced
yes, the adoration that
your muse must have
hated, laughs
the meeting in the airport
for once, the sleepless
nights after which
you wrote about
the lowly language that
your queen had let out
adam has been adored
adam has been put in a pedestal
but does adam cares for all of us
the adoration returned
the keyboard ticked
the paint brush danced
the inspirations are here
voila! it's us, laughs
a string, a rope that ties
as the web continue
to spin or end
as the world continue
to spin and turn
until its last
trip on earth
until its last
path had come
to pass...
the question is, is adam a sentimental guy? maybe or maybe not...but life goes on for sure :> i am like a Mona Lisa writing this string of words in 3 minutes, laughs... smiling, that is :) i wonder how Elvis would make a song for a fan like Adam's :) i know, "one night with you" would be that one tune, but not as some malicious minds would make this out though, laughs...oh well. life can make you very, very sentimental at times, but really :? maybe for awhile, until that next fan would come and say hi, darn it, laughs. oh well, but pardon pls. just for fun here...(^_~)...you know :> hope it's worth your while and your visit :) for me just a tiny little bit of smile should do, but if you won't, then, maybe next time :?
an everlasting life...

January 8, 1935 - August 16, 1977...Elvis, the king of rock and roll, his 74th b-day was celebrated in Graceland recently by his fans and his ex-wife Priscilla and there was a show at Larry King Live done of this occasion as well. he died at age 42. did i mention that some talented people die early? let's add him to the list as well. the second most visited residence here in the U.S. is his mansion, first is the white house, Barack Obama's home beginning the 20th of January :) a former Japanese prime minister is his fan and when this man came here in the U.S. he requested a visit to Graceland, his mansion.he was a twin, his twin died, a still birth and now Lisa Marie, his daughter had recently given birth to a twin as well. he is still earning millions even after death from his albums, winning over a lot of living talented singers to this date. what can you say? that is definitely grace from heaven. when you are dead and you are still tops in earning money then that is short of a miracle. indeed Elvis is blessed, adored and loved. his music will live forever. people like him never dies really :) they'll be here and remembered till the end of time. what a life of grace, full of it :) he deserved it though. with his music that he left us in this world...not to mention his adonis looks, laughs, he is the "package" a wholesome one :> a gift to us, his adoring fans and i call him my favorite rocker :)
"i can't stop loving you" sang by the king himself, for your muse guys, a killer ...(^_~)...believe me :>

questions that boggled the mind...
“Why am I fighting to live, if I'm just living to fightWhy am I trying to see, when there ain't nothing in sight
Why am I trying to give, when no one gives me a try
Why am I dying to live, if I'm just living to die?
someone tell me why”
-tupac...i'm not really sure if this is from this young singer/actor who passed 9-13-'96...25 y/o...
and the answer maybe...
why are you born
there might be a reason
why do you smile
to brighten one's life
why do you swim
to feel the ocean
why do you sing
to warm one's heart
walking in the shadows
is dark despair
walking in the sun
is as light as air
time on earth
is race with time
would you waste it
or make value
of your time
seconds that ticked
won't come back
minutes that melted
are just gone
catch a few minutes
even only for an hour
you can do a lot or a little
you can make one's heart smile :)
love...
of an early dawn
nestled on
the leaves
love is a
cascading kite
that hovers
above the sky
love is the
lullaby
that plays
for you on
a great guitar
love is absence
but the spirit
is always alive
love is the smile
that's freely given
to you without
a price
that makes
your heart
sing and dance
but most of all
love is hello
and not
goodbye...

ode to the cashew fruit nut

the shoe connection...

but first i thank you for passing by :) we won't really know how others would feel if we are not on their shoes. once we are then and only then that we can feel the hurt and the emotions that they're going through. we play and we will wake up one day that we are on the same predicament for after all the world is round and the path has nowhere to go but to turn around, an epiphany sort of. isn't strange that if things are turned over into our court we felt like we are a victim but in actuality we are just caught in our own world that we've created ourselves which is kinda sad. illusions and reality are two roads that are worlds apart. one brings you true joy and the other is just a make-believe and a fake garden of Eden. it won't give us that happiness and that smile that we truly would like...we thought we are bringing joy to others by giving them the things that we think they'll like but to our surprise it is the opposite of what we did expect. it is a torture and a cause of sadness to them. so there, we presume but we are mistaken, so unhappiness is the result, just sad really. we might have meant well but the inner workings of the mind for other people is not the same as ours, we need to keep that in mind if not always, then sometimes... we thought...but we thought wrong, sadly :) and illusions created in people's minds are just games, yes games not reality...and it won't take a genius to notice that :) and i hate games esp. if i am being used...won't you as well if you are the unnamed victim, laughs. oh well, yeah, i know...it's the old thing that goes no name mentioned so what's the fuss? true, true and very true...so continue the fakes...well at least i am aware that it is a fake, a fiction and a front and I'm happy with that :) so carry on? laughs, oh well. there should be more better things to do than this, gosh! maybe time to stop blogging :>
Epiphany of the Lord...

the greatest gift of all...is JESUS :) and LOVE comes second to Him... we give gifts that is hopefully meaningful and would last...i did and i hope you did too as well :)have you ever had a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality of something brought about by an occurrence or experience in your life? similar to the feast of the epiphany, the feast of the three kings where we celebrate just who Christ is...the birth and coming of Jesus, the lord of all...but the true meaning of this though is what we will do next after the realization of this epiphany...to follow in His footsteps or not...to accept Him as our saviour or not... or to live in His ways or not. we live our lives with idealism to a certain degree. would it be nice if we start to direct our steps into the way of the light...which is the way to Jesus. yes, that would be not only nice but the ideal :)

Carry Your Candle...

Go Light Your World... (Carry Your Candle)There is a candle in every soul
Some brightly burning, some dark and cold
There is a Spirit who brings fire
Ignites a candle and makes His home
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world
Frustrated brother, see how he's tried to
Light his own candle some other way
See now your sister, she's been robbed and lied to
Still holds a candle without a flame
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world
We are a family whose hearts are blazing
So let's raise our candles and light up the sky
Praying to our Father, in the name of Jesus
Make us a beacon in darkest times
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the helpless, deceived and poor
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world...
my wish is for the people of Israel and the Palestinians, Iranians, and the Hamas to carry their candles and light their world...ending the war and suffering of the people in the middle east, so that smile is not a very rare commodity, like my mother seemed to show, laughs, i dunno. it is free and she can't even give that. maybe bec. my dad is gone and she misses him but being alive and well is something to smile about as well you know and i know that i'm right :) okay gals, and even guys and gays...let's make it a point to be a mona lisa even only for only 15 times a day. it won't hurt and it won't even put a dent in our pockets and the reward is you will get your smile back for free as well :> plus you did put light or sunshine into one's world without much effort and pain on your part. not unless it is really painful for you to smile which we hope not. so what are we waiting for? let's do it...pls! :) this way we won't even care about the mona lisa for we are the mona lisa ourselves...(^_~)... now maybe that's why leonardo da vinci painted her in the first place. the reminder for us to smile not unless she is his smiling muse or mistress :? not good then if that is the case and i hope not :> oh well.
but i read it somewhere that Da Vinci's inspiration is his own mother, whose name is lisa :) now who knows really? except the artist himself and he is conveniently dead to tell us the truth, so there :) mona lisa...like that smiley moon. i love it :>
there should be a rule that talented people should live twice longer than those without talent for it makes sense really. but you know what? they die so young instead, Mozart, for one did. and i hope painters live long as well. maybe if they are convinced that they're breathing toxic fumes most of the time and they needed to wear protective mask while on the job. you'll know esp. if you have asthma, these fumes can and might trigger one episode after another, so there, lucky you if your body is immune to such turpentine, linseed oil fumes or what have you. we don't want to leave our muses and patrons so early and not on time. won't we? and that's a given.
and yes a few years ago, i tried to carry my candle and light the world...sad to say that i failed. and so since then i learned a lesson that it is only us ourselves that can light our very own world, first and foremost hopefully with the help from the light of other candles carried by our other fellow humans. i tried and did my part and i should be happy with that :) now thinking back, lights can be blinding sometimes, maybe the reason for my failure :? wow, the wick could have burnt a little softer and a little milder then my mistake. but that's the way life goes as well. you win some and you lose some, some loves you and some don't. so that's the way it is, in reality...sad to say...again.

sun flowers & kids, both are gems & a delight :)
sun flowers by vincent van gogh
John Travolta and his 16 y/o son...this boy had a seizure in the bathroom and hit his head in the bath tub and died...like Michael with seizures. like a thief in the night that happens suddenly without warning. Michael had this for the past 3 years now and on medication. one time he was on the last step going up from our basement when he started to have one. lucky us for J.C. was in the basement and heard him so we rushed at his side and he did not fall from the stairs. one time we were at Nagoya Airport en route home after a Phil. vacation at the hallway when he had another attack...Japan's emergency rescue team is superb, comparable here in the U.S. i would say :) one in a hotel lobby and the last was in the bath room as well where we have to unbolt the door to help him out. we are lucky as of yet. so yes, my wish in life is for safety for Michael every time he has this seizure, for we will never know. it is not the seizure that kills, it is the injury that might happen during the episode like Travolta's son had. they were on vacation on grand Bahama island...very sad and i can feel the pain and the loss...http://www.usmagazine.com/news/john-travolta-son-jett-dies
the world as it turns

round universe
circling the sky
far distant
and vast
home to countless
stars
home to planets
galaxies
and the sun
a set up stage, a prop
a theater to watch
rolling, edging
encircling
its inhabitants
the world is
looking at you
quietly
in sync with
the tide
the world is
watching
as the waves
rolls on
to the shore
the world is
waiting
as the sun climbs
up the sky
until it sleeps
until it rests
on the other side
the world
is watching
and waiting
with amusement
and surprise :)
the beauty is ready to play again :)
but two or more
lovers of yours
now again you're
dressed to play
poised to play
ready to catch
another victim
of your show
like a spider ready to snatch
a meal that someone has
the world is watching
with baited breath
if you'll score a win
if you'll bag a prize
the world is enjoying
one drama
of this evolving
universe
not secretly
but out in the open
for all to watch
out with the many that
you'd play with in the past
your attention now is fixed
with the one who
plays like you
with love, laughs.
pardon but...okay, i dunno, the internet is getting to be an interesting past time, a hobby if you will as i try to catch a break in my hectic, working life. yes, like sort of an intermission in life:) oh well. and yeah, good luck to you :> yes, my mistake that lullaby is a spider, laughs.
well, i hope we all had a very nice new year's day celebration...(^_~)...
now the world? will be truly fascinated with the outcome, laughs. it's like a horse race that you can place a bet on :) lost love? but in with the new? your guess is as good as mine, laughs. a reminder...it's not wise to put your bet on a spider though for they're just simply toys, laughs. very entertaining like sanjay gupta's life but without the muses. one man that i admire, he's a multi talented surgeon living in our state and works for CNN. i am not a stalker, but if i am then proximity will bode in my favor don't you think? laughs. nope, why will you have to stalk? just admire from far afar, that should be enough :) for a stalker is a psychotic person without self esteem and self respect, we all know that :>
and i'm beginning to notice that life is a source of entertainment as well, other people's lives, that is...a treasure trove for writers to write about. now you get the idea...using me or using you, sort of... whoever comes first, ain't that the truth :? but me i just try to make sense of what is laid out in front of my eyes. i maybe right though i maybe wrong as well. the end will tell before the curtain falls, that's for sure, so there. but in the mean time fasten your seat belts to be hopefully entertained? and i hope you do...(^_~)...
caught in a web
with its sticky tongue
brown and golden
owning the green
acacia plant
a web, its home
beware
a web, its house
as danger nears
curious insects
scanned the sky
buzzing, looking
admiring
the silken
hammock like
trap
once near
their legs
got stucked
once near
death
is a sentence
life is gone
without
a chance
spider webs
alluring
inviting
but a trap
spider webs
a danger
keep that in
mind :)
spiders are play things of a child
spiders are drawn by artists world wide :)

2009...WELCOME :>

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! ... GOD BLESS & CHEERS! ...and to resolutions, i came to the conclusion that it is better to have none, laughs. why? for life changes so does your mind...(^_~)...tweak your life as you wake up every single day, better that way...for resolutions are like promises that they're meant to be broken any way, i had come to realize that. sort of like eating your own words, right? so be kind to yourself and get out of that predicament before it gets you and me for a wiser world, mine at least. wisdom after all is riding gracefully with the changing times and smiling while doing that. it couldn't get any better than that except when you are with your muse, partner, love, friends, family or what have you. so let us all be positive...think positive for the new years ahead, now that looks like a resolution to me, laughs, without saying that it is :) again, have a prosperous, a wisdom full and a cheerful new year to all :> enjoy it while we have it and thank God for another one given to us...for not all have that gift this time around and not all of us is given that chance one more time. love more and hate less, smile more and pout less, rest more and work less. be kind to yourself in short for that only make sense, okidok? with that frame of mind...let's welcome the new year :)
